Made my first visit for some time to watch Newport play, especially as they were playing my team Portsmouth. Parked in city centre car park, had a quick pint of Cwtch in the Tiny Rebel bar before walking to the ground. Signs to the ticket office and the staff there were efficient keeping the queues moving. Hadn't been in the Compeed Stand before and it was a chance to meet up with another Wales away regular. Great atmosphere in the stand with plenty of noise. The pitch looks superb. Cannot comment on food or drink in the ground as the queue under the stand was too long. What a game. Disappointed that Portsmouth lost after being gifted an early lead. Newport fought back from behind twice and then took the lead. Both teams played good possession football and it was an exciting game with great Newport celebrations at the end of the game.

Excellent and very helpful stewarding one of the best if not the best I've come across in 50 odd years plus the police were also helpful and thoughtful . Beer and food was expensive but only as they are at most grounds!

Well ran, friendly crowd. Good stands, very good food. Clean toilets. Wish them success.
Good ales nearby, cheap as well! Short walk from rail station and National car park.

It's called Rodney Parade and its owed by the WRU therefore a rugby ground.
Newport County are only tenants but since they moved there they ( the County) have had quite a bit of success especially in the FA cup over the past few years.
