Really well designed set up. There's a burger van near the stables and a restaurant for spectators. There was also a doughnut kiosk but that wasn't open. Great views of the large arenas from the sides and you can stay in your car if it's raining. Three outdoor arenas and possibly indoor ones but I didn't see inside the large barns to know for sure. Accessible too, if you're on a mobility scooter. There was even an outdoor plug I could use to recharge my battery when it ran low. I'll definitely go again.

Fab place to visit and see show jumping fab food too

Very large venue with multiple arenas, used for dressage, show jumping, eventers challenge, working hunter, driving, and more. Fantastic array of jumps! Some of the stables look run down but there are plenty to choose from. Expansive lorry and camping parking. Lots of different events held there mostly every weekend and Cricklands riding club is based there. British Eventing Mount Ballan is held there but unfortunately the XC course starts at 90cm and isn't available to hire which is a shame.

I only went out for a walk, nearby broomes event centre as broomes land boarders the grounds of Caldicot Castle, so im afraid cant comment on any events from broomes its self but is a nice walk around the castle grounds on nice days

Overall vast improvement since my last visit many years back. Onsite staff helpful and pleasant if you are into horse activities it's the place to be

Lunch on my daughter's birthday food was top class if a little dear but I haven't been out dining for 18months so may be normal price the cafe was full of character and service top class enjoyed the time

Had a great time at the winter dressage final. Great location and facilities. Did struggle with lack of signs to show us where we had to go to register etc but soon found our way round. Arenas are all very well maintained.

Good facilities and layout. Be prepared to walk as everything is spread out so make sure you're wearing comfy shoes. Hot drinks and bar available as well as food. Also had some burger type vans for quick eats and drinks. If you're into horse events then it's a good place to go

Tremendous place to visit if you are interested in horses or not because you just can't help being amazed at the height of some of the jumps the horses clear. Plus the entry is free.

I drive and coach carriages for the Forest of Dean carriage driving for the disabled under the RDA, we needed some advise on surfaces and Found James was so helpful eventhough he was very busy. I cannot fault the customer service, I had an issue with the hook up I booked partly my fault as I didnt realise that you had to park down the bottom when the shows were quieter. I explained that couldn't move as we had set up and the jeep had has gone back home and in all fairness to Mathew Broome he apologised and said it should have been explained better and offered to come down and move me across to the working hook ups when he got back. As I didn't end up moving I was offered a full refund. I think little gestures like this go a long way and I was very grateful. Thank you xx
