I.Colourful because of the yellow seats. Not your typical thrown up stadium it has been redeveloped over the years.
Situated within minutes of the railway station. Incorporates a restaurant, bars and a Holiday Inn.
One of the most filled to capacity grounds on match days.
It's also away fan friendly so a safe place to visit.
S. V.Great stadium for concerts when not being used for football. Came here to watch The Killers and sat in Block P first tier front row and the view/sound was perfect. Really well organised in terms of entrance and we were inside in minutes after the ticket checks.
The stadium is not as big as others such as Wembley etc so for a concert this is a better alternative. Also the ramp up of seating is not as steep as some stadiums and hence standing up dancing feels safer!
Assume there must be sufficient toilets around the stadium as each time only had to wait a few minutes which is unusual for gigs in my experience. Queues at the bar before weren’t too bad either and staff served quickly.
P. A.Easy to access and exit for an event. Stewards were first class, polite, attentive, caring and efficient. Great team work in selection and training of staff 👍

A. O.Irregardless to the Teams performance, the venue is light, well controlled and friendly.
Seats could do with more space, but it is still a very good venue.
They are very good at ensuring it is family friendly too which is brilliant.

N. W.Older style stadium but the away fans are housed in a newer stand, the Nelson Premier Inn is only 10 minute walk away. The first picture is of Norwich railway station taken from our room.

M. H.Have been to football matches at the stadium in the past and parking was known to be an issue. Have just been to a concert (Elton John) and the situation was even worse. However, the event staff as always were 'on the ball' and everything both inside and outside the stadium was super smooth.

The stadium looked great and I hope they hold more events.

T. R.Amazing 5* Killers concert …. though rarely enough toilets for women. Come on Carrow Road! At more mixed events like concerts why not change the signs on some ‘Gents’ to ‘Women’? That would help sort the queues!
B. S.We went to Elton John's concert here. The stewards and security were very efficient, no queue to get in really. We got there about an hour before the concert. Once inside, there were plenty of portaloos and also lots of food and drink vendors. Queues for these were lengthy, so if you are going to an event and plan to eat, arrive a bit earlier than we did!

A. B.The Killers concert was superb. Everyone in the venue was well organised. Would of scored higher but they ran out of sausage rolls by 6.45pm just as I was going to get some.
i. d.Great for holding big music events but as usual big toilet queues especially for the ladies and as for the bar I queud for an hour so missed most of the support act my mum has bigger bar area in her village hall they could have made a temporary bar a lot bigger with more staff on shame but the killer's show was fantastic would like to see more big bands play there.

R. P.Security was bad when leaving pushed all those on the pitch towards the far end from where we came held us on the pitch. Nearly had another crush rather than let people use as many exits as entrances.
O. F. L.Away cpfc fan and we didn't play very well but the place has a good feel to it with some good banter going on between the fans and Palace fans always bring the noise so it was a good afternoon out. Very easy access from the station and loads of parking nearby. Can take a while to get out.

R.A wonderful old stadium, always at capacity on match days with devoted fans, and the rendition of "On the ball city" (the oldest football chant still in use) just before kick-off should raise the hairs on the back of your neck! The ground is very family-friendly, but parking outside the ground is very limited and the throng of fans walking to and from the ground make driving anywhere near the ground very slow on match days.

D. P.Carrow Road is a nice stadium.. with a mixture of old and new. Facilities are ok.. maybe a bit basic. Still a nice ground. Banter between the fans is light hearted and their supporters are a nice bunch. Parking is scarce and getting out after the game is a real pain.

J. B.Got free tickets through work for a 3 course meal at the top of the terrace and to watch the Millwall game.
The starter and dessert were very good but the main was a carvery , it was ok , I've definitely had better elsewhere . The atmosphere in the stadium was excellent as was the game (I'm not a football fan , only went for the free food 👍) but had a great time 😀

V.So despite this being the enemy ground, this ipswich town fan who is a non league football Videographer of non league football in Norfolk and Suffolk was given kind permission to film the county Cup finals and a charity match at Carrow Road. Despite the banter with stewards etc they were very helpful, gave me access to certain parts of the stadium to film matches and was given access mostly to all areas.
N. J.Home of Norwich city football club. Very friendly atmosphere and good selection of food and drinks before the match and half time. If you have young children the riverend stand would be best, but if you fancy a good sing along the Barclays and snakepit stands are the best.
R. T.What a day out my grandson was playing a football comp at Norwich city football ground he came second and memories he made was priceless, the organisation of the competition was well run and anyone getting the opportunity to go it's a must
L.Easy to find, friendly staff and a good atmosphere.
E.A great stadium with plenty of seating. It's well maintained, and the facilities provided are good. With a nice choice of beverages for each stand, as well as decent toilets available. Most seats are under cover, with only the first few rows being likely to get wet if it rains.

Very friendly staff and security no fears for families safety is of high importance. I have been going there for 60 years and the club in the main has moved with the times. A very excellent place to watch sport and concerts.

Football field looked in great shape.
P. E.Poor PA system hard to hear announcements. Video screen showed nothing when there were VAR decisions to be made. Fans left clueless what was going on NCFC more happy to show adverts to rake in revenue.
R. L.Shockingly disorganised. Arrived more than half an hour to collect tickets before the match, finally made it into the ground just over a minute after kick off and the queue behind me was still almost as long as when I joined it. I am aware that I can use the Norwich app, but I often buy multiple tickets for my children which makes things harder (and I like physical tickets).
Need better signposting or just a better system, queues were crisscrossing everywhere and people who already had tickets were struggling to get through the throng.
d. p.Had a great tour of the stadium. Beautiful place. And the father and son tour guides were amazing. Knrw virtually everything about the stadium, they were very welcoming and accomodating. Couldn't ask for a better experience for my son's birthday
H. B.A great place to watch a football game. I took the train out from London for midday game. The town is low rise and friendly. I walk from the train to the station (and incidentally saw Robin van Persie score to for the arsenal to win). After the game I walked to a pub that was just over the river to the right and had a pint. Although I knew no one there it was a nice ambience.

E. W. R.Dear Google. Not sure I can see the point of rating a football stadium. My experience today was greatly enhanced by Cardiff City nicking two late goals to clinch an unlikely victory. If your team are playing there I recommend a visit. If not you might want to save your money.
To be serious though, it's one of my favourite away trips.
J. H.What a beautiful stadium this is, a perfect view wherever you sit. The food & drinks are reasonably priced, there are two restaurants called "Yellows" & "Delia's" which are lovely, I really can't recommend it highly enough. You won't be disappointed.

A. B.As a supporter of Norwich City FC I am unlikely to be critical of the club and its facilities.
The ground is within easy access of public transport links. There are also plenty of places to park a car within a reasonable walking distance of the ground (including the club's own car park). The downside to car travel is that it takes an awfully long time to get out of the city after a game.
The ground has plenty of places to grab a snack both inside and outside the ground.
There are plenty of police and stewards on duty to keep people safe.
Overall a worthwhile experience!!

P. J.Ticket collection arrangements were first class, made it very easy and kept queuing to a minimum. Took my twin grandchildren, aged 9, to their first game. One said it was the best day of her life (6-0 obviously helped). Great value and great night out. OTBC.

What a brilliant night, from the canapés and wine reception to meeting Tom and the an exceptional 3 course meal with wine for each course. What a fantastic venue. Special mention to the kitchen and the waiting staff for the way the handled serving nearly 400 people at one siting

I would say this is a proper football stadium with proper football fans, unlike many of the plastic premiership grounds. j. m.I love visiting here as an away fan, the crowd is usually always a good one. One of my favourite memories is having a huge snowball fight between the home and away fans (a few years ago now) ! You usually have no trouble with parking in an office car park reasonably close by, about a 5min walk from the ground.

A. R.Great place to visit. As a neutral fan we had a brill day. All staff were very helpful as it was our first time here. Great links from the Railway Station (10 minute walk). Can really feel that it’s a big family orientated club too. Well done! My son (6) cost £5 to get in and £2 return train fare and he loved it! Who said football is always expensive!?? Bargain! A. B.Always a joy to visit this wonderful stadium. I was at the legends vs Inter Forever game and had a wonderful view sitting in the stand and nothing in the way. Stewards were very helpful and polite too. The club shop was packed before and after the game too.

Yellows bar is quick and effective during service and provides good food. Barclay end provides great Atmosphere but wish the rest of the stadium follow suit. Overall highly recommend for away and home fans.

S. I.This is a good old fashioned ground. The picture posted is the view from the away end which gives a good view of the playing area. Might be a bit exposed if the weather is bad. The facilities at the ground are sufficient and food prices similar to other clubs. Parking nearby at the County Hall which is a 10 minute walk. The station is minutes away. Home fans are amiable and pleasant.

S. M.Amazing atmosphere! Incredibly easy to get in and out. Everyone is very friendly as well. You're not allowed to drink beers from your seat however so be aware before you buy your beers! If you go an hour early, you can see the teams practicing and warming up before which is quite nice since most supporters live near by and only start coming in around 10-15 minutes before kick off. Highly recommend catching a game if you visit Norwich!

We got in and seated very qyickly and the staff were very helpful because we didn't have a clue where we were going. The food smelt and looked delicious but we didn't try but we will next time, as we will be returning to see another match .

Always go to home games which is a 200 mile round trip living in Chelmsford and most away games.

Home of Norwich city football club, which acts as a magnet to 25,000 fans each match day. And why??? There's little parking, its costly to get in, the food and drink is more expensive than nearby places, the seats are uncomfortable, there's regular swearing and for ~90mins you never know if you'll be thrilled, disappointed or just plain bored.
But try and get me to support a different team, no f#*?ing chance.

R. S.Considering that Delia Smith's name is above the door you would expect the catering to be pretty good, however, the food outlets in the stadium are a not good. Stale rolls, burned hotdogs, over cooked chips, bad quality ingredients. Expensive. Such a shame. Come on Delia, feed the fans proper! We don't mind paying those prices if the food is worth it.

M. S. (.Home of the Canaries (Norwich City Football Club), this football ground dates back to the 1930s, but has been developed into a modern all-seater stadium over the years. Sight lines from all areas of the ground are very good with very few 'restricted view' seats. The food and drinks are decent, with Yellows (a New York style dinner) and Delia's (brasserie for fine dining) being firm favourites. Fans from other clubs, with the exception of local rivals Ipswich Town, are generally made to feel welcome and trouble is almost nonexistent. MLS
P. M.Nice stadium. Good views. Local support prone to swearing a lot in the ground though and that is despite children attending in numbers. Food prices as bad as London.
A pie is a pie. It is not worth between £4 and £5.
Why do most football clubs sell sustances supposed to be beer at between £4 and £5 a not pint. 500ml us not a pint. 584 ml is a pint. Fosters is not beer. It is not even lager.
Nor were the other brands on offer.
Weatherspoon's not far away do sell beer. Real ale beer at £2.60 a pint.
Walsall sell real ale. So do Cardiff City and Bournemouth. It is possible.
Pricing of tickets for games is good. Access is easy and leg room ok.
C. C.Great atmosphere, Stadium nearly always full. Quite a few catering options, as you would expect from Delia. Good for families in most areas.

D. S.Truly atmospheric location in a good spot in the city. The main let down was finding parking at a good rate as we ended up using the multi storey nearby. Would have liked access to a park and ride but being an u23 match this wasnt available. Maybe some sort of future link coukd work out. Prices for food were not as astronomical as i thought they would be but still high enough for me to reconsider any refreshments. Carrow Road however is my team home and i will be back for definite!

F.Carrow Road, named after the street that surrounds three sides of the ground, was built within 82 days in 1935 and got the Royal seal of approval in 1938 when King George VI turned up and saw 20 minutes of the Canaries game with Milwall. It was the first time that a ruling monarch had ever watched any of a Second Division match.
