N. T.I booked a private hire for a party, staff were friendly and chatty and anything I needed was no trouble at all!
Playframe is fantastic, hours of fun and huge (especially playing hide and seek) the drop slide was a hit with the older kids and the little ones loved the swings and slides.
Coffee was great - we had a fair few of those.
The place is safe and secure so didn't have to worry about escapees going out into the car park.
Everything was clean and tidy with plenty of seating.
Was nice to let the kids burn off some energy whilst the adults chatted with a hot drink.
Big thanks to Jen Sophie and Alice for a wonderful evening, we'll be back again!
C. C.We had our little daughter birthday party on Saturday and everyone had a really nice time. We only had a table on the balcony and paid half of the money with clubcard vouchers, so we were not expecting much.
The staff was absolutely brilliant, friendly, polite, helpful and the kids had lots of fun. The pizza and chips were delicious and we would definitely recommend you to our friends.

c. f.Another party 😂. As usual great place obviously I didn't go on the equipment as I'm too broken. Still find the TV placements a bit clunky trying to watch them. Again the drinks are more expensive than usual obviously to help pay for the site. Using reusable cups to keep the environment happy advise you to take your own cups. Watch out for the puddles in the car park. Enjoy

M. R.Really nice place to visit. The staff are friendly and helpful. When purchasing hot drinks, you can take your reusable cup home with you and when you return, bring it to get money off. There is a lot of choice: soft play music, snakes and ladders, climbing walls, swings, Slides, foam bricks, baby/toddler area- with locked gate access! game machines, grab machines, candy floss, hot food, cold food and party rooms for birthdays. They have plenty of seating, downstairs and up. Even their restrooms are child friendly with a little toilet and sink! and baby changing facilities.
A great couple of hours for the kids to really enjoy themselves and burn off some energy.

All the children had a great time in the safe and secure play area with a broad range of activities for all junior ages, and thoroughly enjoyed the pizza and chips 🍕 in the raised balcony area.

D. S.13/11/21, 9 years old girls birthday party with 14 children. We asked for a disco theme party.
I was slightly nervous as this was our first indoor event. However, the staff were amazing throughout, so helpful.
The place was clean/tidy and was regularly cleaned.
The disco room was more than we expected. Overall we are so happy we the whole event.

Food was well cooked and presented nicely, however again a little expensive. Will definitely go again, but maybe eat at the McDonald's close by.

Only thing that let's it down is that some of the padding on the floor in the play frame has gone I assume from the amount of use but its not a nice fall if you trip up!

E.Amazing place for all ages, with understanding and helpful staff, especially as my first time meeting a friend for coffee (I have no children) they were entertained for at least 3 hours before they stopped to eat. Food reasonably priced, with a good selection for both adults and children. Highly recommend. Will definitely meet my friend there again. Oh and u are allowed to go with the children, its surprisingly large, and lots of variety.

S. H.An amazing, fun, safe place for children to play. Food & drinks are available to purchase on site. Seating area for adults. Loos are clean, if a little low for adults! You can also hire the place for private parties too! We did for my grandson's birthday party, it was brilliant & the staff were very friendly & helpful too.

S. S.Lovely place, was quiet when we went. Everyone was polite who worked there, toddler area is amazing but maybe too much bulky stuff, might help taking a few out for when it's less busy and rotation of the toys. Some of the mats are loose in the big kids section. But it kept the children entertained and tired them out.
D. L.Activity world is an excellent place to take the kids to go or even for party hire, The play area for children is abundant, safe, fun and has a decent amount of adventure.
There is a fair amount of seating around the play area so if you want to sit and chill and let the kids go run about then you are able to.
One suggestion would be to make better food and drink offering for both adults and kids as if you are there longer than an hour you want something half decent and the food and drink were not that great.

D. T.It is great for kids. Be aware that it is £1 for each adult, in addition for the kids price. There are notices saying they will not give tap water (includes and not limited to in a cup, jug or refill a water bottle). There is a cafe for refreshments. My 5 year old loved it and there is plenty of space to run around
C. S.Went here on a whim with the kids as they were annoying me. The place was pretty clean, as were the toilets. The equipment seemed in good condition . Our table could've done with a clean though. Parking is free and plentiful. Dropped a star as they charge £1.50 for a jug of tap water.....not illegal......just a bit immoral in my eyes. However I recommend it if you want the kids to burn off some blue Smarties!!!!

M. H.We'd read very poor reviews on TripAdvisor, complaining about dirty ball pits, lack of netting around the slide, poor value food and not taking credit card. We saw absolutely none of that. The dirt around the place was no more than you'd expect after hours of children running around, no sign of poor netting, the food was very tasty and good value, and we paid by card both for entrance and food.
As for the actual experience at Activity World, our 6 year old and her friend had a wonderful time and almost had to be dragged away after more than five hours of running around. We can't fault it, certainly better than another similar play place in Peterborough, and will definitely be back.
G. B.I went to Activity World yesterday with my nearly 3 year old son. It’s the first time we have gone to a soft play area since they reopened following lock down.
I looked on their website before I went to book up, unfortunately it wouldn’t let me open up an account with them & book, not sure why, It could be that I have an old iPhone. So I sent an email to explain it wouldn’t let me book.
In the meantime I decided I would just drive over to Peterborough with my son & just show up at the 2pm session & hope they had space left. I thought they would as it showed up on the website that they had quite a lot of space left.
When we arrived I put my face mask on & a lady asked us to sanitise our hands & then she checked our temperature. I paid & the lady at the till told me about their new attraction.
I easily found a table as their was only about 5 other families there.
The whole building looked nice & clean which was good to see.
My son did ask where the balls were as the ball pit was empty & there was no big building blocks but I understand all soft play have to remove these following the Corona virus guidelines.
I never had a drink or snack so I can’t comment on that but that area looked clean & tidy aswell.
My son had a great time after not going to a soft play centre for such a long time.
It was actually nice that there wasn’t many children there, I know they have to reduce the numbers but I thought as it is half term there would be more children there. I do worry though how some businesses will survive having to have less customers.
The toilets were nice & clean.
We stayed for the 2 hour session & we will definitely go back again.
On returning home I realised that the manager of Activity World had replied to my email that I sent in the morning, she said I could of rang up & paid over the phone as I couldn’t book online, I explained that I just turned up instead. It does say on the website you can just turn up but you are not guaranteed to get in if they are up to capacity.
Overall we had a lovely time & I have no negative comments about the place.
J. S.This was so much fun for all the family! No height restrictions so all the grown ups can have some 'weeeeeeee' time! The staff were all really friendly and happy to help. Highlights are the bungee drop and the death slide but it all good. There is good and drink available, toilets and baby changing too. It's huge and there are plenty of viewing areas.
P. B.Not a bad place, a bit dated and not quite as exciting or as big as the other soft plays in the area but nevertheless the kids still love it and there's plenty for them to do.
L.Went for a staff party and it was good fun. They allow for hall hire for adults. There is a few slides and a ball pit and lots of climbing frame. There are some snacks and a slush machine. On one wall is a spin for shape connect game. Lots of seating space with tables and a big sign for the turn into the places car park. Didn't see a pay machine but went by taxi.
M. B.My 2 year old son just loves the place so much, that we bought for him a annual pass. Perfect for kids and toddlers with a lot of energy. For me it is much easier to look after my son on the slides in the Activity World, than in the Big Sky. All the stairs/steps are very soft perfect for toddlers.
A.The actual play area for children is large, safe, fun and has a decent amount of adventure. Wish the large slide was open more often. A few floor boards are bending downwards, hopefully they're structurally sound.

G. B.Took my 14 month old here and met up with another mum and her 15 month old. We really enjoyed it. It's not brand new, but in reasonable condition and well layout out with lots of different sections. There is a fab toddler area, with their own slide & swing and lots of other toys. Because we went on a Monday morning and it was quiet, they allowed us to take our children in the main area (at our own risk, obviously) which was fantastic! We were able to go round with them (although there are some very narrow/tight areas to get through!) and give them an experience that they wouldn't normally get. My only comment would be about the snack bar; the sandwiches were freshly made on the premises, but they could do with having some fresh fruit for the children and some home-made cake for the adults ;-)

J. C. (.The toddler section has too many toys and items in it - seesaws, rocking horses, bouncers, bikes etc... You could hardly get in through the gate without having to dodge one! The soft play items need a good scrub or recovering as seem grubby. Went into the larger section with our toddler to use the bigger slides but very confusing as to how to get to them!
On the upside, the musical instrument areas are a great idea!
S. W.Brilliant soft play area for children upto 12 years old, toddler play area for younger children with a gate to stop them from wondering off. Small cafeteria that takes cash only serving various kids and adults meals such as burgers and fish and chips etc. Memberships available but all payments made in cash. Very quiet during the weekday but busy during weekends and school holidays.
N. C.I like that the sitting area is in front of the doors so that your kids can't run off. The play area is big and has something for every age level. The one thing I would say is that I don't like that the bathrooms are so removed from the play area

K. P.This was my first time taking my 2yr old, all in all its a great place for kids, more of a workout for adults. Only things I found was it smells of feet (or something) in the building block area which I'm guessing could be the age of the soft blocks... unsure but also there's ALOT of dust clumps all over the floor, place needs a proper hoover all over. Yes the coffee is overpriced for a DIY job.
P. Z.For kid's it's perfect but the problem is that you can't pay with a credit card only cash!!!!!
J. P.I went there numerous time with my son and in short it is spacious and there is plenty of various activities to keep the little one occupied. A separate bit for todlers with it's slides and soft play area is there and does what. Cleanlines is acceptable I could not fault it when it is concerned. The place gets busy at times especialy weekends though this is to be expected given the nature of the business.

h. d.no card payments and do not give free water..... started to hoover whilst there were still children playing around... casing the chance of tripping. frustratingly this place does not take cards and charge for water... so if u pay for your child to play but have not bought extra cash your child goest thirsty.. athoug the place looks tired the children still enjoy the play facilities which on balance are pretty good. some staff better than others...

P. T.Great fun for the kids. I have a 4 yrs old daughter and a 5 yrs old son and they both love it. We go every week once sometimes twice a week and they are having a great time every time. As an adult I can still go up to the play area together with the children and even can use all the slides. First few times when we went I have gone up with them because they weren't brave enough. I could manage nearly everywhere to go through but there are a few really narrow ones although. Everything is padded so safe to let them play on their own. There are tables and chairs you can sit down watch tv and there is free wireless internet for your wifi enabled device. There is a snack bar and toilets and baby changing room or whatever you call it. :) Now we have an annual pass which we paid for by tesco dayd out vouchers using out tesco clubcard points so it works out really cheap. What else could I say.. play area is generally clean.

P.It's good but it was so busy there were no tables free so standing around for hours is not fun for the parents.big sky is much better.i hadn't been for 20 years and it was exactly the same and looking around it was covered in cob webs and dirt.who knows if they actually clean the equipment but the rest of the place needs it.

C. M.Good place for the kids to play. Food is not great at prepared in a not so clean place and expensive. However plenty of food places around. Stick to water to dehydrate little ones when playing. Then off to somewhere for food you will be fine.
