Taken my baby for her 1st time swimming and she loved the baby pools/teaching pool. The water temperature I would say was good. My little one loved it so much we where in the pool for about 2 hours would go again and at a really good price for the time it open for anyone to swim and when she older ill look at swimming lessons there

The pool gets cleaned around 87% of the time, there is a pool going from 1 metre to 3 metres deep, and one connected to it which is 5 metres. I recommend taking a quick swim here.

I used to go to swimming lessons here and it is one of the best places if you want to learn. They taught me alot of swimming techniques and the teachers were really nice. Definitely go here if you want to learn how to swim. If you just want to go for the fun of it you should still go as this is the perfect place for a fun day out with your mates or family!

The gym itself I would give five stars, generally very clean and tidy, it has air conditioning and water dispensers (very slow, takes five minutes to fill up a bottle) there are a good selection of machines and free weights allowing you to work on all muscle groups. The changing rooms and showers are very dated and cold, I'd rate them rated 1 star but that's because I'm feeling generous. The floor is always disgusting and wet making it a slip hazard and difficult to get changed after your cold shower. The swimming pool is okay but a lot of the time half of it is shut off from the public making what's left quite busy, they also have a sauna and steam room but are temperamental whether they work.

the little details puts you down. The pool is fantastic and the spinning monitors are fantastic. On the down side it's the price. 42 quid a month is really a lot for Peterborough. Posh cities like Cambridge charged 35 for a similar kind of facilities. The showers in the male changing room are really bad. there are only 4 on the way to the swimming pool. Very difficult to have a proper shower there. Really bad is that i have seen at least 4 times in 2 weeks youngsters rolling cigarettes in the changing rooms, and staff walking through and not saying anything at all. I will go, because I really enjoy the pool, but it is really really improvable.

Great facility, great choice of classes and big pool.; could do with marking off a bit more for the serious swimmers during the day. Also not allowing balls etc unless its a 'fun day' event obviously. (Been hit my a ball when an over zealous father took his kids). Always very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly.

This pool has been around for many many years now and in just a few places is showing its age especially in style, this kind of design would not be found if built today, however the council has done everything to make it as modern as possible. Importantly everything works, the showers, dryers, toilets etc, the changing rooms have enough space and private areas to cater for everyone, the pool it's self is warm and inviting and there is ample lifeguard support, there is a separate pool for little ones and the main pool can be divided into an are for public and school swimming. I only go mid morning swimming so have no idea of how busy it can get but certainly at that time there is ample swimming area Entry cost is £5 but get a Vivacity card and you get 10% off. Well worth a visit.

Vivacity Regional is very hit and miss of if you get good service. I never have an issue with the classes I attend however some of the receptionist staff are quite rude (anytime of the day not just at 6.30am), the gym is a good size with a good set up. Would be better if air conditioning was near treadmills mind you. However the female changing rooms and facilities leave alot to be desired, they are old and run down. The showers have no water pressure, the curtains in the shower are old and seen better days. The changing rooms have got hairdryers recently, would be good if they had plug sockets for peoples hair straighteners like more upper class gyms have. This gym isn't cheap we pay £74per month for it. Would recommend 4/5 stars.

The pool is OK but the diving pit is shut apart from 1 hour a week. The men's changing room needs a good clean. And the toilets are too high to sit on for children. The staff are good for teaching the kids and the swimming clubs are very good. The parking is a good 200m from the pool.

Me and my girlfriend really like the pool, the facilities are at a great price and everything is nice and clean. Pool is big and relaxing. One thing that brought the mood down was a few of the lifeguards. We felt as though they were laughing at us in some way and maybe even gossiping. This made us feel uncomfortable and unwanted, and even embarrassed. They may have just been laughing about something else but they kept looking at us and laughing. Overall a good experience though.

The swimming pool is a great size here especially if there are a lot of people swimming. The diving area is great, and you get to use three separate diving boards which are perfect fun if you're with friends. If you're here for serious swimming, make sure you check the times or else you'll end up swimming with children that disturb you. For a £3 swimming experience, this is a good idea to spend an afternoon.

My 5 star rating is for Liesl. She is THE best aqua fit instructor ever. She knows how to work the whole class well. She changes routines regularly & pushes us to get the most out of ourselves, whatever our level. Her enthusiasm for her work shows through....Thoroughly enjoy the class. I visit this pool with my son. I'm glad with the instructors. The temperature in the halls is very pleasant, I'd say it's rather warm. It is true that the water is a bit less warm, but this is a swimming pool not a spa resort. You move and get warm. I have to check, but I think the water is ionized meaning there is less chemicals used. Not tremendously busy, there is room to swim and enjoy with kids.

I've been swimming here for years. I've never known the staff to be rude disputed some awkward customers. The lifeguards are all friendly. Most problems are sorted as long as they are reported. No good moaning about something the staff don't know about. My only grouse is that it the water is TOO warm at times. Healthier at around 26 degrees and a better swim.

The gym is well equipped and clean, along with having air con which puts it above most other gyms in Peterborough However the showers are absolutely grim, with some cubicles having no drains so flooding when in use, and seemingly endless chunks of hair floating around. If I was just rating the gym it would be 5 stars, but for 30 pounds a month (including student discount) you'd expect more

Came as a visitor to the area during a competition nearby. Good day pass system despite not being able to find them on my usual app. For the centers I have gone to this way, I found them some of the most friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Thankyou, and I am sure I will be back. Only thing I found was the pool area a little slippy, but it was a Sunday and very busy.

Good swimming pool for teaching juniors. Enough room in changing areas. Vending machines available. Parking can be tight on some days of an event at regional track is on. Parking charge is £1 for 3.5 hours, but machines have been removed, so you have to pay at reception.

Decent gym and swimming pool only problem is that you guys only have 1 proper Olympic barbell. You bought a small barbell that's pretty much useless. This is a problem when somebody wants to use the squat rack and someone else wants to use the deadlift area as they cannot do it at the same time

Swam here from a child and little has changed, modernised a bit over time, I miss the cafe and the benches alongside the main pool, nostalgia but my son started his swimming journey here in September and is thoroughly enjoying himself and I am impressed with his swimming teachers, and the helper in the pool on Saturdays, do sometimes wonder about staff social lives as they chat to each other a lot (not the teachers but the lifeguards) however he is progressing well, not afraid of the water and always super excited on Saturday morning (used to do Wednesday much quieter and personal but mummy missed watching him)

The fourth star does not reach her because sometimes I found her dirty and the opening times are not always the same and they confuse you.
