I thoroughly enjoyed the 5 years I spent studying at Marjon through my BA & MA. I learnt an incredible amount from my time here & gained friends for life, with memories I’ll never forget. I would highly recommend Plymouth Marjon University to anyone who is looking to study in a small, friendly environment with superb staff & a fantastic surrounding location.

I had the best time at Marjon studying for my degree in Journalism. The support given to me though out my degree by my lecturers has allowed me work in a job I love. The facilities at The Workshop were amazing, being able to work with the BBC aswell as other local news organisations, such as PlymouthLive, was incredible. I could not recommend Marjon more. So many happy memories and I am chuffed with my final results.

Marjon is a brilliant University, it is a small University with a great community feel. It is a place that provides you with opportunities to grow in your chosen career and gives you all the support you need along the way. At a big University you are just a number, whereas at Marjon you are known by your name. The staff are very friendly and approachable, making it easier to get help with work etc.

The Quad is a fine place to go and see stand up comedy, Mark Watson was excellent last night.

Purposes of visit was to obtain Covid test kits from temp NHS collection point. Extremely well organised and staffed. (Hours are 13:30 - 19:00, not 13:00 - 19:00 as shown online).

I loved the attention as a foreign student. The institution offers the service of restaurant and cafeteria. The sport facilities are excellent. There is a library on site. The academic service was brilliant.

By means of an award, sponsored by the ODA (Overseas Development Agency) and The British Council, in 1994 I did a post graduate course entitled THE PRINSELT COURSE. Its objective was to train TTTs, Trainer's Trainer's Teachers (CONSULTANTS) to asses Teacher's of English in running ELT workshops all over the world aiming a renewal for THE CRADLE PROJECT (Curriculum Renewal Aimed at the Development of English). It was a grateful experience for the High-qualified Senior Teachers we met (Rod Bolitho, Tom Hunter, Steve Austin), advanced methodology and specif theories and principles to share with teachers. I will allways remember my Host Parents and partners from Ghana, Lithuania, Mozambike, Greace, China, Malasya, and my cherished Ecuador.
