D. B.On Saturday I went to watch Reading v Blackburn, and really enjoyed my first visit to The Select Car Leasing Stadium to tick off another groundhop.
Upon my arrival, I was amazed with the size of the stadium and it's really convenient for home and away supporters that there's a huge amount of parking spaces available on site. I went into the club shop and was delighted to have purchased a pin badge for £2.50, but I was very disappointed to have learnt that the club don't produce matchday programmes which was a big disappointment as I always buy one whenever I visit a new ground.
The stewards were really friendly and helpful when I was being directed to the Gate and Block. I really liked the architecture and structure within the inside and outside, in particular the roofing.
During half-time, I felt unease with how crowded the concourse was, in particular the queues for food and to go into the toilets.
As soon as Reading opened the scoring with a stunning finish from Josh Laurent, the atmosphere lit up and it was really good to see the togetherness within the players and supporters during the goal celebrations and full-time whistle.
This was my first experience of being present at a Championship match, and don't think I could have chosen a better fixture to have been present at. As the stadium is wonderful and it was also great to have watched one of my favourite Barnet players from all time in Andy Yiadom playing the full 90 minutes!
I look forward to returning to Reading in the near future!
S. B.Fab venue for business meetings, clearly a unique offering Vs any hotel. Views of the pitch from a corporate box are ace. You can feel the excitement on the terraces. The food was excellent, proper restaurant quality. Service excellent too. Lots of parking for 1000s of cars.
M. D.This is an excellent stadium with very large capacity all with great views of pitch and good parking. Giving it a 4 rather than 5 star rating due to the food and beverage offering which. has slow service and choice is limited.

Nice they had food available in the W stand concourse - shame no Bovril on a surprisingly chillier night than I expected.
Always nice to have free-parking too.
L. M.Went along to watch Reading U18s vs Manchester United U18s in the FA Youth Cup. The bar wasn't open and it was freezing but I don't think the stadium can be held accountable for the weather! A disappointing night for the Royals, losing as they did 3-1. The ground itself is well maintained a fun evening out.
A. M.Great day at the ladies game with my little boy. Staff wete friendly and super helpful with a pram and my 2 yr old. He loved it and it made my/the whole experience great. Definately would recommend going if your looking for a family day out or something to do with little ones.

S. D.Good modern stadium 🏟 though a fair way from the town centre. You can get a F1 bus there from outside the station just turn right and go down the stairs. The bus stop is on the right and the bus stops right outside the stadium.

Access to motorway good access but does take quite some time if your parking up at the ground maybe best to park approx 20 mins away and walk

A. B.Staff at half marathon event need some training - they questioned whether a standard manual wheelchair was allowed in the wheelchair area! Great stadium and fantastic location for the half marathon finish.

A.Soulless bowl on a shopping complex. Charge £10 to park and won't be taking cash! Fans have 2 drums to make up for not really having that many fans. No pubs anywhere near. Good view once inside but that's the only good thing about this ground

N. W.This is also the home of rugby team London Irish which we went to watch play Scarlets in the European cup! The staff are lovely, even security, and there is a place in the ground for, beer, food, hot and cold drinks! It's a great atmosphere there, we go regularly!!

D. R.As a bus driver I was delighted with the stadium staffs helpfulness in helping me park up safely and in an appropriate position at the recent Sheffield Wednesday vs. Reading match. Being an away bus i had never been before and appreciated the help, thanks guys.
N. P. (. B.Great atmosphere outside the ground in fanzone plenty of places to get a drink and somthing to eat plus got the big screen to watch earlya matches . Good day out for any away fan visting . Inside the ground is good for away fans easy to get to the bar . Stewards are helpfull . Staff behind the bar are great too .
E. S.Saw Watford play here, public transport to the ground was not good and involved a very rowdy overcrowded bus shuttle to the ground as there is no way of getting there without a car from the station. The ground itself was nice but lacked atmosphere and didn't benefit from much home support.

A. P.The match day Hospitality is a great day out for adults and kids alike. Has very personal feel about things and the food in the Royal Suite is as good as any high end London resteraunt.

K.I have been shopping at morrison ross for few years now I do like going there but I think it needs having a over all I think it is falling apart a lot you have to wonder around looking staff if you want some thing not very helpful shelfs bare have to go else where witch I dont like doing that it need sorting many are moaning about the store bad feed back .
