Reviews of The Quays Swimming & Diving Complex

Lovely, my daughter and grandson loves it here. Nice little cafe
H. P.
A nice pool and I enjoyed my swim, but I'm not used to narrow lanes and some of the other swimmers were very precious about who could share their lane
O. J. A.
great staff extremely friendly and welcoming however changing rooms could do with a more serious daily clean but still not bad compared to others i have been to gym is also fantastic so all said and done would reccomend
C. J. O. S.
The kiddie pool is ok, but there aren't any slides for toddlers so it's more for bigger kids. It would be lovely if they added some little slides around the side of the pool for little ones to enjoy.
H. S.
My kids enjoy their swimming lessons here. Main reason for going but facilities look good. It's clean and staff friendly. Little coffee shop is nice. Boys like slushies. Gluten free sweet treat options.
S. “. M.
Live going swimming here especially when it isnt very busy. Also love doing aqua aerobics which is so much fun

Review is only for lane swimming as that's all I do. You get a parking pass with the swimming subscription for up to 3 hours in their car park. Clean changing rooms, take your own locks, no "insert £1" lockers. Swimming pool is generally not too busy at 8-9PM. Pool itself is clean and has defined lanes for speeds, lifeguards are good for a chat too! Very friendly staff.

I enrolled on swimming lessons. When I arrived, the staff were not very helpful in directing me to the right place/group. Despite arriving with time to spare, I didn't actually join my group until five minutes after the thirty minute lesson had started.
Once I'd found the group, the teacher was really nice and helped me get started, and I enjoyed the rest of the lesson.
The changing rooms are in much need of some maintenance - two showers were stuck on, and I saw at least one other turned off at the service valve - presumably due to the same problem. It's 2022 - wasting hot water is very bad form!

First swim here for a couple of years because of covid regulations etc, but thoroughly enjoyed it as usual , helpful friendly staff, great value for good all round excersise, will be back soon 😊 nice big pool

The main reason I'm leaving this review is because of the "bubbly" gentlemen (sorry I didn't get your name) working on 16/01/2022 giving out green wristbands around lunchtime. He was lovely, so helpful and great chatting to my little boy who asked him about his pirate hat due to the pirate themed event, and was very apologetic about the waiting times as they were busy. When booking us in I told him we were not from the area and when we left asked us how we got on. Lovely bloke and a credit to the company.
The pool was good but we did find it a bit cold. It was very busy and due to waiting times for an availiable cubicle in the family room I took me and my son into the mens room instead.
You do have to bring your own padlock because they've taken away the keys to lockers "coz covid" but are happy to cram you in like a sardine in the swimming pool which doesn't make any sence.
Overall, the place is awesome and if you want to transport back to 2019 when a business was pleasant and staff were very friendly then I would highly recommend this place

Friendly, helpful staff were the redeeming part of this place, but the facilities were run down, the swim was expensive, the website booking experience was also a negative, and there's just not a huge amount to offer in terms of kids swimming entertainment

my last visit here!!! yes!!! was about two thousand and three!!!???!!! maybe!!! hoping they'd never close something like this in our city!!! phew!!! still wasn't!!! i took an aqua aerobics class late one night!!! kind of didn't have the concentration to keep it up due to extreme poisoning issues in me!!! i thought i really saw tom daley though!!! diving off the highest board there!!! training for the olympics maybe!!!

Thank you Active Nation for providing cheaper priced SEN swimming at the Quays. My boys both love their weekly hour long swim sessions and they have been a god send during the summer holidays. The instructor is Brilliant with all the children and everyone has a great time and are making improvements in their swimming. Changing rooms are lovely and clean. There's a fun children's pool with slides and flume, a bigger pool and a pool for diving, with numerous boards. Lovely cafe that over looks the children's pool and a good selection of swimming costumes, goggles and floats at reception.
E. S.
The steam room is not working and they have cut down the time to 1 hour. General public not as clean as they need to be in these days of COVID.

Lovely, my daughter and grandson loves it here. Nice little cafe
J. K.
Amazing swimming teachers!!
Go here regularly. Two slides, hot tub two pools and diving. Can also have a sauna and steam for a few extra pounds and there is a gym on site. Prices are reasonable too
S. B.
Quite busy in he evenings, if the sauna isn’t broken the steam room is.
S. M.
I feel the place could do with a bit of maintenance, for a family swim we haven't been able to use the flumes, the place looks dated and it isn't cheap to reflect the experience.
N. A.
The instructors are great. Take it from someone who has an unhealthy fear of water . I feel comfortable and relaxed in the water after just two classes.
G. M.
In terms of facilities The Quays has a lot to offer. Lane swimming, diving, leisure pool, gym, spinning, classes etc. It's just let down by the slightly run down feel of the place and lack of free parking for non-members. It feels tired, like it has been neglected for years and only very minor maintenance and upgrades have been done.
The facilities themselves are good, e.g. the pool, gym etc, but it's just the surrounding areas. The changing rooms could do with some renovations, and they are extremely hot (I can only speak for the men's), with no appreciable ventilation to be found, which makes for a slightly unpleasant changing experience after exercise. Although I did feed this back a long time ago, I never got a reply.
So overall, I would say The Quays is fine. It's functional and serves a purpose, but it isn't great.
G. H.
Changing rooms need to be monitored as alot of things have been going missing from lockers apart from that kids love going there lots of fun
A. W.
Nice pool, great polite and friendly staff. The just need to widen the lanes for lane swimming as can get busy at times.
V. J.
The parking only takes cash so you must make sure you have enough or you won't have time to enjoy the facilities. Apart of this, I am not very satisfied with the pool and showers, the floor of the pool did not look very clean and you cant set the temperature of the showers. I gave it another opportunity but I think I might look for other places for swimming and sauna
G. V.
Excellent swimming pool, but you need an own lock for the locker.
K. M.
Warm pool for the kids, clean family changing space and hot showers!
A. M.
A very clean gym area excellent clean pool for swimming, good outing social place to be for all your exercise activity needs. Comprehensive Membership £27 monthly very affordable you can come with one other person with you, nice package. Situated at West quays Southampton central!
M. T.
Starting to show its age, could do with a revamp. But everything is functional and the kids love swimming.
S. W.
Swimming teacher was excellent. Changing facilities filthy and you need your own lock for lockers. I would have thought that with all the time swimming was not available due to cover that the place could have been deep cleaned by all the furlough staff.
M.
Just used the car park - a bit outdated but the parking price is good after 6 (flat rate of £2). Only annoying thing is the pay machines only accept coins (no cards allowed), so its a bit outdated, but convenient, particularly if you're going to the bowling alley/ cinema
I. B.
Popped in to have a look around. Ended up having a guided tour of the whole building. All the facilities look great. We were up there dropping off our daughter at uni.
S. G.
Went to watch our grandaughter's diving class. She's a newbie but some of the other classes show the diving talent that's coming through. Well organised there's even a decent coffee shop on site.
L. C.
Joined this gym since it opened up, I only use it for swimming but reception staff are always kind, happy and friendly. Changing rooms are clean, pool is clean. No complaints
B. M.
Very good complex. Some of the equipment is a bit dated and care should be taken more for details on looks of the place. Leigh is super nice guy and always welcome us solving problems very quickly.
a. p.
Looks nice didn't go in
J. B.
I've only ever used the gym here and not the pool area.
Gym equipment is relatively modern and there's enough there for it never to seem too busy. Helpful and kind staff too. However, the complex itself is open to the public so watch out that your stuff doesn't get taken by the gypsies in the summer like mine did.
S. P.
This is a decent swimming pool, sometimes it can get a little busy in the fun pool but it's not a big problem in my opinion. Changing rooms are large enough and clean and there is a nice cafe, just what you need. The gym is also a decent size with decent equipment. It's not perfect, but I can't give it 4.5 stars...!
f. g.
Staff are friendly and helpful but definitely most needed more training for opening memberships or answering general questions. Gym is small but the equipment is good. The kids pool could definitely do with a facelift, add a bit of color or just update the tiles to get a more refreshed look. Lots of seating for parents to watch the kids and a lovely little cafe right inside.
a.
I usually go here when it’s a hot day and when I’m bored however the changing rooms smell very bad , the locker keys are sometimes damaged and its hard to open / close the locks . They can add some colour to the tiles to make it look better and maybe make the hot tub warmer? The children pool is quite small however the 2 slides are fun to go on. Overall, if you wan’t to go to a pool on a hot day then you can go here but just be aware of the downsides .
M. M.
Ok swimming pool. Leisure pool a bit tired but has a nice shallow area with fountains and a spa. Parking is very convenient out front, but the machines still only take cash which is really annoying. £5 deposit for a padlock to use on a locker. Change rooms are clean enough. My kids enjoyed it 😄
C. W.
I've started using this centre to get fit using the pool and soon some of the classes. Tripadvisor and Google reviews left me feeling a little lukewarm before I visited but I'm glad I find the majority of the criticisms unfounded. The facility is fairly clean and tidy with logical layout and plenty of facilities to suit all your needs. The changing rooms, though perhaps a little bit dated, appear perfectly clean whenever I use them. The main pool is a highlight, it's a good size and rarely overcrowded if you pick the right time to use it. The diving pool is impressive though I'm not brave enough to try the dive clubs! There's a second leisure and play pool too with jacuzzis for more fun based time. The gym isn't the largest but it seems to cover all the basic equipment you might need it to. There is a separate room for the cycles and dedicated class studios as well. Nice to see the swim and gym changing rooms separated. The real impressive thing is the general friendliness and attentiveness of the staff; the campaign team were great in getting my monthly payment arrangement and showing me around. The only thing that could be an issue is parking is a little limited for such a large facility. Otherwise I think it ticks all the boxes.
L. S.
The good bit about this pool is that it has lane swimming a large majority of the time which is very useful. However, the staff behind the desk today were not friendly, the pool was not well managed by the staff there (people in the wrong lanes, lots of children running). In the changing facilities, I found a blood clot smeared on the wall.
a. k.
Good for lane swimming, pool is open to the public for longer hours than other pools in the area. Swimming lessons for babies are also very good. Instructors are great. They make you and baby feel relaxed and manage to keep my 3 month old entertained for the whole lesson. The changing rooms could do with some tlc and the showers are pretty rubbish.
E. H.
Love it here friendly and kind staff especially reception and membership team
O. I.
The swimming pool facility is good, however the lifeguards in the family pool made us feel very uncomfortable. They are not pleasant nor friendly, and they speak in a manner that suggests you are a nuisance. I think they need more training on customer service. The way they blow their whistle to get your attention is a bit upsetting especially for the kids. When they blow to signal the pool is closing for the day, it's almost as if they can't wait to get rid of everyone. They just need to smile more and be more friendly in their attitude. It's supposed to be a nice fun environment, not a place where staff are scowling at everyone.
J. H.
Enjoyed the gym followed by lane swimming. Not too many people in either activity in the afternoon so a safe environment for fitness.
w. w.
Great place for kids and parents
L. M.
Such a fantastic place , I came to swim on Sunday with my husband and 3 boys. It is such a safe pool , I have 1 boy that still cannot swim well but with the way the life guards are I felt safe enough to allow him a bit more freedom. When we were on the flumes the staff were friendly but stood thier ground on the rules. There were a few adults that I noticed giving the life guards a hard time because they were trying to use the slide with a small child on thier laps , even though these men were really nasty and calling the life guard names he didn't back down on the safety of the child and didn't raise his voice he just calmly stated that the rules were clearly sign posted for the safety of all users. I was so impressed. Your staff really are fantastic which makes swimming here a pleasure.
D. D.
Good value for money. Not too crowded. Lots of different classes. The gym has just been refurbished and new machines. Parking is free for members. Lots of features incl Sauna, steamroom and pool. Cleanliness is better in other Active Nation centers and the sauna and steamroom are too small for the number of members.
r. r.
My daughter has swiming lessons here , place is good for that but fun swimingpool , or leisurepool as its known is too small. Changing rooms need updating and deep cleaning. Maintance is slow in these areas. Staff are mostly nice , couple not so nice . Always queues at front desks which makes whole experience not more than ok
Z. M.
A practical place for lap swimming. The facilities are clean and tidy. The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. The cafe could benefit from a style renovation as it appears a little bit dated but the service is still of a good standard. The coin operated hair dryers could be free, as a courtesy for swimmers. Concession discounts should be applicable for swimmers with disabilities.
O. D.
I use swimming pool and sauna, all is good, just app and website I wish would not lag and be a bit more clear.
g. l.
It's quite small and not very deep, so it's good for the little ones. The 2 slides and very good. You will need a £5 cash deposit for a padlock to use the lockers and you will have to pay for parking unless you have a blue badge
A. K.
The pool is definitely not bad itself. Also the price is affordable. However, I really don't like that visitor are not allowed to use diving pool. Their justification was I have to join the diving classes, otherwise it is not save. Really stupid. Why don't I need to join swimming classes? I can't swim. Isn't it too dangerous for me? Too much health and safety where it is not required at that level...
And why I cannot control water temperature in the shower? Why I have to use boiling hot water? People have different water temperature tolerance. Was it so hard to install temperature control?
A. D. R.
I don't know if I am used to other standards, but the changing rooms are old, obsolete and poorly kept. Facilities are aged and are in need of extreme refurbishment. I wouldn't call this place clean. Once again, we are used to wear slippers all the time. If I forget my slippers, I will not walk barefoot to the showers or the pool but return home!
A. R. P.
Everything is really ok and perfect, except for the changing rooms. At least, men changing rooms. The shower extreme hot water temperature burns your skin and destroys your hair, toilets often are out of order or very dirty, and even the doors doesn't lock. Please put some money and care in the changing rooms
N. B.
Got it all really. Plenty to keep the kids occupied. Lots of parking and locker space. Nice to have somewhere with a full length pool that’s not heated to the max.
M. 9.
I take diving here, it is a nice place for swimming, I don't use the gym though, there are three pools in total, two, always accessible, one being the fun pool, warm water ,3 Jacuzzis, four slides, 3 short, one long, and it is quite shallow, 0.8m . There is the lane pool, with cold water, and is quite deep 3m at most, 1m least. And finally, the pool with an adjustable floor, used for diving and swimming lessons.
This is a good place for a family out and about, and recommend for people all ages and abilities
P.
Great pool nice temperature 2pm Saturday afternoon when I went was not too busy so was able to Lane swim for an hour no problem, showers where hot & changing rooms clean with plenty of lockers. A little expensive at nearly £7 a swim.
M. M.
Great place to get fit. It's quite pricey to pay for membership £39. They could improve cleanliness in swimming area. Small, hardly working Jacuzzi, usually packed. It would if they organise something like massage in one place.
A. M.
The leisure pool is great for kids, but it does need some money put into a refurbishment.
S. S.
Changing rooms were filthy! We went in the afternoon so maybe they would be cleaner earlier in the day but still not a good enough excuse to not keep them clean. Otherwise my children loved the leisure pool and the slides.
m. c.
1st visit here and good facilities. I enjoyed watching the divers jumping from the different height boards. Between 6_7pm on a Thursday eve was busy and there's 3 lanes for swimming at different speeds. Spacious changing facilities and clean.
S. B.
Love the pool here (beats Bitterne Leisure Centre by a mile) although does get busy at peak times. Main pool generally a reasonable temperature, minimal chlorine, and good changing rooms (do remember a £5 deposit for a locker padlock though, or bring your own). A decent leisure pool too, so leave the kids to play whilst getting some lengths in. Sauna and steam room are good and a decent gym. A bit on the pricey side for swimming, especially with parking as well, although part of the cost of this is refunded at the desk. The traffic to get there is also increasingly bad and likely to get worse with the new complex opening next door. Shame the cafe went - for hungry post-swim children the only snack options are now vending machines, which rather undoes all the good work of the swimming. By far the nicest pool in the area for a family swim; for lane swimming also try the University pool which is marginally cheaper, but for serious swimmers only.
B. K.
You get what you pay for here. Smelly changing rooms, boys toilets always smell of wee. Bit tatty around the edges, very small sauna and steam room which you pay a couple of extra pounds for. Staff very friendly and when I have told them about the toilets someone has seen to the problem. Great cafe at reasonable prices with the option of healthy-ish food 😊
G. R.
Have a swimming and gym membership here.
The pool URGENTLY needs renovation. The tiles from the changing room into the pool have lost their grip. The changing rooms are ALWAYS dirty (family room especially) the showers as you leave/enter the pool will go from freezing cold to scalding hot in seconds and are totally unsuitable for children to use, they are often out of service. One of the showers has been falling out the wall for months and another has no button to turn it on. The decor is faded and rust drips are visible. There is a water line around the pool which makes it appear that water has gone down (it looks like a scumline from when a bath has drained) other than that it's ok.
V. A.
A lovely staff, clean and friendly.
both the sauna and the steam room are working
recommend
L. R.
Facilities are ok, however the timetable is never updated. We’ve turned up twice to use the leisure pool and parties or lessons have taken place meaning we couldn’t go in. Would be ok if A they updated timetable online and B they refunded car parking that was only made to use the pool..
Also found its FREEZING in the pool changing rooms, not sure why you’d have air con on after getting out the water. Very cold!!
L. G.
Could do with updating.
So much rust.
C. W.
If you can put up with the filthy changing rooms and pool areas it's a ok pool for a quick swim. Plasters around edge of pool and in the changing rooms.
Pools of dirty water on the changing room floors.
Really needs a deep clean or a 're vamp. Tired I would say.
P. L.
Despite the place being a little unhygienic I've had consistently good service from all the staff there. Every one of them I've approached (usually for forgetting to take a sauna band at the entry) have been friendly and helpful. The standard of the gyms personal training advice is also very good
J. B.
Having read a number of poor reviews I had low expectations when visiting The Quays Swimming and Diving.
We were there for two full days for my son to attend a diving training camp. Whilst at the centre I used the gym and the pools as well as the cafe. The wifi was free and very good so I was able to work without hindrance.
Contrary to some other reviews I had read, my own experience was that staff were friendly and helpful, the centre was clean and tidy and seemed to be coping well with being very busy for half term.
If you look closely there are bits of maintenance and TLC needed here and there, no doubt. The gym is not great but it was adequate for a one off. 2 power racks with plenty of plates and dumbbells up to 50kgs. £8.40 for a single entry is too much but £18.99 a month for membership is cheap and worth it if you prefer to do cardio than lift free weights.
For visitors to Southampton the location is great. Right next to the shops and an ample supply of restaurants. Plenty of hotels and two cinemas on the doorstep too.
k. H.
Its ok, but i would say pool needs cleaning. Showers are not particularly good. But its good to go bout 1.30pm during school times as no children and its quite so you can do a proper swim
D. H.
The site is getting abit tired.. we visited on the Saturday 30th September. Changing facilities smelt like a toilet not super badly but noticible and all the lights look like they had never been cleaned with clumps of dust dangling from them.
Some of the showers in the family changing area were not working or only produce cold water. I think Active Nation need to invest in this prime location facilities to bring it up to a modern standard!
Also for a location in the center of town none of the parking meters accept debit cards or give change so make sure you take 50p peice and the rest in £1 coins (depending how long you want to stay)
Positives are the staff are lovely there, the life guards are sensible and not overboard with the whistle and just generally friendly.
C. E.
I regularly use the quays to go swimming, clean changing rooms and lifeguards that keep everyone in order. Not sure I like the new lockers where you either have to bring your own lock or hire one rather than using £1 coin. Good range of activities on offer.
G. R.
Swimming pools are of a great size.
Lanes pool, diving pool, childrens/main pool.
Family changing rooms are NOT pleasant, but this is down to the family's that do not use the bins provided and not the Quays Complex.
Music is ridiculously loud when played on party days (party in panes pool but so loud in children's pool that we couldn't hear ourselves talk, lots of people complained to lifeguards and to be fair it was eventually turned down, but not by much) would say a fantastic venue on a week day or when a party is not taking place in the other pool !
S. S. N.
Varied number of facilities but more times than not, there is a pool or area that is out of action.
E. D.
Ok so the place needs some renovation but it is really cheap and the classes and the gym are actually very good. Instructors for classes are fantastic as a matter of fact. Also city center location is great for those who live in Ocean Village and around!
M. C. (.
Very nice swimming pool and Gym.
v. b.
Great swim!water was not too freezing and nice showers. Friendy staff-all good-will be back.
H. D.
Good facilities, although a little tired. Would recommend a pair of flip flops for poolside. You will need to take your own padlock too for lockers.
J. W.
Amazing gym, lovely, clean facilities! Staff always very helpful. My only concern is though I have been a member for a number of months I still don't have a parking permit and have nearly got a ticket a few times!!!
A. W.
Came here for a swim gala. Well organised. Place seemed clean and tidy but didn't go into the changing room or actual pool (salty water) parked in West quay and not thier car park as was much cheaper. Great location.
H. s.
Just done my session for over an hour and someone is always there to clean and cleanse really impressed, It was a piece of mine in this difficult time really enjoyed it thank you for your hard work to all the staff and please keep it up
V. A.
I have only used the swimming pool for the last two days and everything was good. Unfortunately the steam room and the sauna will open at some point in September
m. i.
Friendly gym, lots of classes e proper swimming pool. Avoid swimming mon-fry from 5 to 7...and saturday and sunday late morning....it.is impossibile. Gym change room all right, pool change room often dirty...I am have been here for 6 months and I am happy with it.
E. W.
Enjoyed a few family swim sessions here in covid times which was nice and quiet. Fairly expensive for the session
J. M.
There is a diving complex which is great, and unusual, a good lap pool 25m long although not the widest so can be crowded. There is a kids area with a slide and a flume, and a jacuzzi. The kids like it.
p. (.
Good facilities, upgrading locker rooms. Pool is £6 a visit or 27 for a monthly pass. Sometimes closes for events without notice...or at least without any obvious notice like an email.
M. W.
The best thing about being a member at The Quays is that it gets you three hours' free parking in their car park at any time (even when you're not attending the gym)! It's very convenient for city shopping and I use it all the time.
As for the gym itself, my main gym activity is classes - and while the instructors are good, I find the rooms disappointingly cramped. The downstairs studio gets stuffy in summer. The upstairs room, where yoga is held, is just a small meeting room and is positively claustrophobic.
If you join at The Quays you can also use the gyms at Chamberlayne and Bitterne, both across the Itchen bridge. Their facilities for group classes are much better so I now go there instead.
N. B.
Went for a Sunday swim. The changing rooms are not the cleanest. At that time, it wasn't the best for lane swimming as the were more families around. You need £5 cash deposit to get a locker padlock.
K. M.
Tonight i met Noami on reception, fabulous welcome, smile, and couldn't be more helpful, so on this basis i decided to join! a most pleasant member of staff, the Quays should be grateful to have such wonderful staff, :-)
T. D.
Lovely time with my children had music on can't do much swimming in the play pool but fun for children to splash around wasn't as dirty as others have stated and staff friendly and helpful would recommend for a splash around and fun .
L. B.
I loved it the gym specialist are always there to help and I have a medical condition which can sometimes cause a problem but they said I could book a meeting with the medical fitness trainer and he gave me my own schedule to follow to coordinate to my SVT. The people there so nice as well and the coustermers are soo nice.
j. r.
Bumpkins at a city centre pool, wow it was busy the kids had fun the slides were fun and the whole experience was very enjoyable but there were big queues for the family changing rooms and it was upsetting a lot of people as to why they would let teen boys punt big plastic balls around the babies and toddlers pool.
P. M.
Half term and unfortunately the queueing system was shambolic to say the least!
The band system for the pool which always worked reasonably well has been replaced by a timed session system.
There is no signage about this and it was only after queueing for 15 mins and everybody stood around wondering why the queue wasn't moving that someone at the front asked the question of the staff and filtered it it back down the queue.
Apparently, once they've filled the number of people for a session the till system effectively shuts down until the next timed session becomes available.
You can't pay in advance so you're ready to go in as soon as the next session is available
which is clearly inefficient and everybody ends up standing around upto 45 mins and getting very grouchy.
Sorry Quays management but a rethink is needed on this one, not impressed!
S. N.
Best value for money as u can get gym, pool,Jacuzzi ,steam room n sauna all in one roof.easily accessible location as its in the heart of southampton. However ,the changing room and overall cleanliness of the place is wanting...
P. M.
Had a lot of hassle signing up my son for swim lessons. When we finally had a lesson though we had a really great time. Looking forward to going back next week.
H. V.
Very good place but need to have more eye for cleanness inside the mens and families room. Please sauna and steam room need a deep clean to just look under the chair on sauna is really bad
T. V.
Went splashing with my niece. Had a really good time
J. M.
Clean swimming pools, that is a big one to mention. The water does not sting in the eyes, good maintenance. In then other hand the changers are usually crowded and it is hard to find one with baby changer. Also the A/C is set a bit too cold, you can feel the cold gust while changing.
C. C.
Used to come here all the time , now live in Portsmouth , wish I could still use the pool here as its simply
The best , to far to travel back from Pompey each day , if I could I would
J. R.
A great cardio aqua class led by Karen. Lots of varied activity to brilliant music. The time flew by. Be sure to book in advance or you might be disappointed.
M. E.
The pool is great, the changing rooms are a bit tired.
J. C. M. P.
Great gym and swimming complex
T. 2.
Had my debit cards stolen from locker - be on your guard, security has yet been increased... other than that excellent facilities darn good swim :-)
J. R.
Great venue! Swimming Pool is great and its a decent Group Ex timetable - nice spin bikes too. Not bad membership prices, would recommend a visit.
r. h.
Great to be able to swim and use the gym and they have strict measures in place for covid19
R. K.
Leisure pool is good family fun. one flume, a triple slide, hot tub and lots of water spraying.
T. P.
Had my first swim in years not to crowded a bit different due to Crovid
K. M.
I have used this gym for over a year now, owe good here, however I would like it took be a bit more cleaner and lockers fixed, there has always been a problem with them.
L. D.
We found this place by accident and was pleasantly surprised. Good facilities, water slide two pools and a really nice cafe with outside seating.
A. S.
It was very packed when we went there. Very long queue at the reception. The sauna was tiny and outdated. The parki g is really expensive and there was barely any place to park.
N. A. B.
The pool was small but fair price, generally quite clean and staff were very friendly!
O. K.
Always love taking the kids here. Great staff and well maintained area. Adult swimming is great too.
W. R.
I do like it there but sometimes the queue to get in builds up and can take ages to get in which is a bit annoying and the changing room floors are a bit grubby but overall it's ok.
D. S.
Make sure you get a ticket for carpark, the quite literally come hourly in a mini bus and blitz the carpark. Be especially vigilante around 6pm as regardless of money you feed in all tickets become in valid at 6pm.
C. T.
Friendly staff. Functional facilities. Seems a bit short on showers. Lacks hooks to put things on in shower. Pool good. Water seems weirdly salty.
N. G.
Lovely and quiet during the week, which is perfect for us as we home educate and can really make great use of the pool.
S. M.
Ok but more supervision needed 5 adult males in Jacuzzi in children's pool made for an uncomfortable watch.this was the pool with flumes for kids.
M. A.
Epic, Cool and lessons are very good. I do my lessons there and I learnt how to swim very quickly the swimming instructors are nice.
D. P.
Great options of activity. Plenty of parking. Changing rooms could be swept more frequently. No cafe. Most staff really nice.
C. M.

A. M.
Best variety of activities in town. Only downside is that it could be bit cleaner but it's still my favourite gym in town.
s. L.
It's a salt water pool, and needs a really good clean, would have been nice to be able to use the dive pool as well
