My boys were desperate to go canoeing so we took them along to the Saturday afternoon club. We couldn't have been anymore welcomed. Everyone was really friendly and they have now been 3 times and absolutely love it. Excellent value for money and lovely volunteers that run the club.

There is a lovely place. I have been there several times to go out on the river Tent. Though there was a large group of children who were swimming in the trent. Though this was nice to see kids playing I don't think it was safe for them to be swimming in the river. I also want to add that all the members of the canoe club are all very nice and polite.

Our son tried canoeing alongside his friends at cubs and had a whale of a time, (pun intended 😜). It was great fun to watch too. Safety of course is paramount, they were all given life jackets to wear and experienced adults were in boats/kayaks and also on land to supervise.

Fantastic group of friendly volunteers going above and beyond to help members. We popped along on Thursday to have a look around, we were given a very in-depth explanation of everything involved and joined up on Saturday. Letting the kids have a taster session before we all jumped in as a family on the Sunday. My wife's first time on a paddle board. She managed to stand and control the craft to a degree in less than an hour. Only going for a swim 1.5 times 🤣 Stuart and Steve and the others who took the children (sorry forgotten names) are so patient and helpful. Cannot reccomend highly enough. If only there were 10stars 👍 can't wait to get stuck in all over summer. Thank you guys see u Thursday.

I went for Burton Hasler. All very well organised. Lovely stretch of the river to paddle on. Lots of refreshments and facilities are good

Guys are so friendly. My 9 year old loves it. Would recommend to every parent that wants their kids to try something other then football and rugby.

Great facilities, great members. This club is volunteer based but it is extremely well stocked and run. There are always coaches available to help out and there are regular trips and training course going on at very reasonable prices. If you like the water and being outside, this may be your new hobby!
