Good value, friendly and helpful staff, lots of different ramps and also seating and a tuck shop with hot and cold food. Ladies night Wednesday evening. Also do lessons and parties. Parking available roadside evenings and Sundays but also a car park on Regent Road too. Fab place!

Always a good vibe in Unit 1. The staff are mega, We took my son here as a nervous beginner and he was/is looked after by both the staff and the other skaters. There are people of all abilities helping each other, always a great atmosphere, my son loves it.

I have been going to unit 1 now for two years. It's taken me some time to build up the confidence to have a skate lesson. And we'll.... What can I say apart from WOW!! No messing about just straight to it with friendly staff and plenty of support. I had a lesson with Ash who played a huge part in physically building the park, which helps as he knows the ramps better than any one could !. I paid £20 for an hour lesson and had full access to the park , helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards. This price also includes a board if you don't have one! I honestly can not recommend this place enough. Amazing staff , ramps for all abilities and a good vibe ! Thank you Ash , SI and Jess for just making this place feel like home ! ❤️

I couldn't recommend this place enough! The staff are so friendly and it's amazing value for money! My son has been doing 1:1 with such a great coach and his confidence has been going from strength to strength !

Brilliant place, spent 4 hrs here today and the kids were loving it. Staff were amazing with any issues we had. They didn't mind coming and swapping helmets constantly for my autisic daughter to make her feel more comfortable.

My grandson goes here to learn how to do tricks on his scooter. There are no instructors so seld taught. Clean place nice that there is somewhere for kids to go. They also close to the public at certain times when they host people with special needs

Our daughter was a nervous beginner a few months ago and after only a few lessons of skateboarding with Jess she has come on leaps and bounds, she loves her weekly visit to unit1 and also goes on a Wednesday as they have a ladies night which is brilliant, her confidence has really come on and we can't thank unit1 enough. The staff go above and beyond and make everyone feel so welcome and we always enjoy a nice brew whilst watching our daughter skateboard. If your thinking about giving skateboarding a go don't hesitate, unit1 is the perfect place to start at any age.

Great fun for the kids. Ramps suitable for all ages. They even have scooters to borrow of you don't have them. My son spent 3 hours here and would have stayed longer. Only down side is that its very cold while sitting in the waiting/viewing area.

a brilliant place to go to skate, and if you forget anything then you can pay to borrow a scooter, skateboard, helmet, pads. plus you can get food + drinks and the best thing is the workers are super kind and friendly.

Great place to go rainy day or not. A friendly bunch of people seem to go and the staff are always friendly. There is a basic seating and bench area, basic but works well - many hours I've spend there, usually get a bit of work done while my son rides the ramps. Hot, cold drinks and snacks available and at a reasonable price.

It's amazing! My brother was isolating with coving and me and my 8 year old sister went. The ramps and drops are suitable for all ages and abilities. I'm a beginner and I felt completely comfortable In the area. My sister had lots of fun aswell and the staff are really friendly. Would recommend for anyone whether they are skateboarders, scooters, bmx riders, or roller skaters

Awesome park! Staff were super welcoming and helpful. The space is really big with a street, vert and big ramp sections. They also have a mini ramp tucked away at the back. Had some easy transition and ramps so it's great for beginners or getting back into it, cheap price and can't wait to go back again.

Excellent indoor skate park. Staff are superb and facilities excellent. Can get very busy at peak times but everyone is sensible and well behaved. Nice hot drinks can be had which is a boon because it can be quite chilly when sitting in the viewing areas. We will definitely be visiting again soon. 👍

Friendly and helpful staff, its the only staje park I've taken the kids to so nothing to compare against, but the facilities seem to be great, the place is pretty clean, also have a ladies only night every other wednesday

Incredibly friendly staff, who are all fantastic riders. Ash is very knowledgable and helpful, and will always push you to improve - you pay (very reasonable rates) not only for the riding, but for the brilliant atmosphere. The park itself is great to ride for any discipline, with very smooth transitions and incredible upkeep. Features big half pipe with spine, a street section, mini ramp, and park room.

Really friendly place. I take my grandson who is 9 and he loves it! The kids that go there are great and always happy to give advice. The only moan from me is.... The toilet s are in need of some TLC. Great place for scooter s, roller Skating and BMX bikes. 😃

My lad (9 years old) loves Unit 1! The staff are so good with him and have really helped him with his skateboarding. The prices are very reasonable for the sessions, equipment hire, and at the tuck shop. You can take in your own food and drink too.

Excellent indoor skate park with a great range of ramps, rails and steps. Really well designed too and accomodating for skaters of all levels. These points along with the awesome staff make this a place I'd definitely recommend to anyone with skates, skateboards or scooters.

My kids (10 & 12) love this place, been 6+ times, staff are great, prices are good. It does get cold in winter, so I would bring outdoor coats, but apart from that, I’ve nothing but good things to say about this place

Never been but son goes with his school and group, and he loves going here. Always bigs it up and can never wait to get there. In fact he's there again tomorrow night. Great fun for skooter riders, skateboards. Top place

Great for kids nice choice of scooters to borrow. however if you are a parent waiting remember to bring warm clothing in winter as it gets very cold in there.

Such a great place to spend quality time with my lad, the staff have worked super hard on getting this place open and deserve a lot more credit than they get, the ramps are great me and my lad have been quite a few times now and will carry on doing so, I'm 34 y/o and my son is 10 and I enjoy it just as much as him.
