3rd visit on a Saturday morning. Brilliant staff and lots of them so waiting at the desk to check in, buy cartridges or book anything is done promptly and efficiently. Telephone calls are always answered quickly and everyone is very helpful. Immaculate cafe, gun shop and toilets. Clay layout is well signed and offers variety across game and sporting disciplines. Numerous clay grounds could learn from the team at Barbury. Josh is an excellent ambassador and a super instructor. From complete beginners to seasoned shots, all are welcomed and looked after. The cafe is great, super coffee, breakfast, pasties and all good quality. Will be back soon.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly and polite staff at the welcome desk, who took our booking details and asked us to take a seat. Within minutes we were greeted by Sid, the instructor, An ABSOLUTE amazing gentleman. Very knowledgeable, professional and more importantly very friendly and polite. Sid went through the safety briefing and made sure we all understood and answered any questions/concerns we had. Considering we (my family and I) hadn’t been shooting for a while Sid was very patient and guided us step by step. Highly recommend The Banbury Shooting School

Had a great time shooting with friends today: Lot's of new developments since last visit, lots more stands available now, providing interesting targets for all CPSA classes. I shot recently with a AAA and he had fun and my friend today was entry level and he also enjoyed himself immensely. So everyone was a winner that's for sure. looking forward to shooting again shortly: Ps Staff were helpful and friendly. Coffee and bacon and brie toastie in the new clubhouse made a nice way of finishing our visit before our drive home.

First time out to Barbury Shooting School for shooting lessons with my wife . I have experience but my wife doesn't so both had lessons at different ends of the spectrum with Josh. Everybody was very welcoming. Josh was a great coach, very patient and a super confidence booster for my wife. A really enjoyable afternoon out with coffee and cake to finish. Sorry Josh - you went off to another lesson! Have joined as a member now for what is a fantastic shooting ground with amazing amenities and a great view. Look forward to the next lesson.

Great place for a days clay shooting..excellent set up..enjoyed it so much i became a member..staff are friendly and helpful..the gun room has a great selection of new and second hand guns and a few demo guns to try..Craig and his staff are very helpful..The cafe safe are very welcoming and helpful good selection of food and drinks

Excellent Ground, Gun Room and Restaurant with friendly staff. Can shoot a variety of targets, also can book driven and high tower sessions. Automated Traps so can shoot alone if required. Also Derrick is an excellent teacher who has really enhanced my shooting.

Me and my 11 year old son went here today for a taster session, we had 25 shots each and I paid £52 in total, it was such a fun thing to do and we will be returning, although I cannot remember the mans name who showed us the ropes I can say he was really friendly and made us feel safe.

GREAT FOR GIRLS TOO!! A brilliant well priced experience. We took my hubby as part of his 50th birthday treat and us girls (20 and 48 yrs!) loved it too! Patient tuition and we all improved under gentle prompting. Great fresh coffee and bacon sandwiches. We've already booked to go back!

WOW , what a absolutely wonderful time I have just had at the Barbury shooting school , it was a birthday gift from my wife . From start to finish the whole experience was great and Mark Westen my instructor for my time there was great , extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic just what is needed for an experience like this . Barbury Shooting School is a great clay shooting ground. Yesterday was my second visit and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable as usual, the targets were varied and challenging, the scenery was absolutely beautiful. What more could you want? It's a bit of a distance for me but well worth the drive.

took advantage of the march reduced price offer and had an hour with Derek a skilled and patient instructor and all round nice guy. he quickly identified my issues and steered me towards changing my stance and hold which improved my shooting immediately. i will go again next week. all in all a nice friendly place with excellent instruction which is exactly what i wanted. thanks.

Fantastic place for a practice round of clays, great targets set, changed regularly. Both myself and my 12 year old daughter enjoy shooting at Barbury, there are targets suitable for people at all levels.

Really well laid out place with excellent tuition if you’re new to the clay pigeon shooting hobby. Highly recommend a visit but get there early in the morning to avoid the busy periods.

A great afternoon shooting with some great instruction from the gentleman looking after our group. I started missing most shots and by the final round I hit 7 out of 10. When there were some miss fires from the clay launcher he gave us extra shots, even if we'd pulled the trigger which was nice (being so used to places these days being so tight on costs that they avoid adding any extra cost, this was a great experience) Would definitely go back and might start trying to find a place locally that I can go shooting near home.
