We stopped overnight here - lovely CL. Great views and loads of wildlife. They've done an amazing job. you can here the motorway but you can filter the noise out and it's worth it!

Well looked after fishery with 2 lakes, 1 with an island which can also be fished from. Onside toilets and tea/coffee and refreshments available. Assorted bait available. Ample parking. All in all a very pleasant days fishing. Arrive, find a peg, then return to the kiosk to pay and pre order a butty which is delivered to you from about 10ish. Plenty of Single and double pegs available.

We stayed here in our caravan on the hardstanding pitch number 3 of 5. Electric hook up, toilets which were unlocked for us. It's next to the motorway but the noise is surprisingly quiet, with help from a bank and trees. Nice people running the place, popular fishing lakes here too. I'm not a fisherman but i could see some big fish in there. Nice evening stroll around the lakes with lot's of wildlife. 👍

What a fantastic caravan site! Beautifully laid out and easy and close access from the M4. You can hear the noise from the motorway, however it was not a distraction or a disturbance to us or the plentiful wildlife at the site. Each of the 5 pitches had electric and water hook up. We took our dog and the site has a good on site dog walk, and was also very close to plenty of public footpaths and country lanes. We used to live in this area, so know there are plenty of places in the vicinity to visit. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We will use this site again for sure!

Nice site with level pitches and good views across the lakes. Nearest pub is more of a restaurant and is within about 20 mins walk. You can also walk to Wootton Bassett in about half an hour. Taxi back is £15. V cars are about the only service. Loads of wildlife. There was a Kingfisher doing loops around the island, deer in the fields behind us, Herons, a fox, Geese and a kite. Fishing lakes are great. A little challenging whilst we were there, but talking to the regulars, they usually fish well. That said, I had some lovely carp, biggest at 13lb. Basic but clean toilets. The only downside was the motorway noise. It is unrelenting day and night and could even be clearly heard inside our motorhome. You do kinda get used to it, but does spoil a lovely site.

Fantastic views over the lakes to distant hills. Elevated hard standings, level and firm. Lovely people, cannot fault the site. Excellent value at £15.50 per night.

It's a beautiful idyllic setting if you are an angler or not. Absolutely loved the location but as most people say you can hear the motorway quite clearly but if you can overlook that and tune it out I highly recommend visiting there.

Amazing place adult and child friendly Ruth is very friendly and helpful and the place is an absolute beauty spot in Wiltshire I'm back there for the 3rd time tomorrow introducing more people to this fantastic venue

Went out with my mate and his girlfriend I'm new to fishing I mainly just sat there and waited but it's such a lovely place, peaceful and quite that it was nice to get away for the busy noise of the rest of the world. We even got food delivered for lunch so that is a possibility if you forget food! I've only rated it 3 stars as my friends girlfriend had to use the men's toilet as they wouldn't unlock the female toilet so that's something to keep in mind!
