This hub is so much better than orford in every way, cleaner, things work as they should, staff are much more friendlier and professional.. and the swimming timetables are very good. The orford pool is often closed for hours at peak times through the summer holidays (apparently due to staff shortage, so they say).. thank you Woolston for being community spirited!

Family changing rooms really smell! Think it is the nappy and sanitary bins in the changing rooms! Probably could do with being changed more often!

Great little gym, lots of equipment, squash courts, sauna, steam room, pool. Only things that make it not 5 stars is that there's no private showers for after a swim and the sauna and steam room are miles from the wet changing room. Other than that, really happy with my membership here.

Lovely and quiet, very weird having the deep water in the middle of the pool. We had a great hour here.

The changing rooms had black mould in them, which I guess is understandable due to people coming straight out of the pool into there. However, the pool is very good, and yes whilst I understand that safety is a huge priority, the lifeguards are very strict to their rules. My younger 13 year old sister and I went to the pool and I took longer getting changed than her, so since she’s a strong swimmer, I let her go into the pool on her own. I told her to stay in the shallow end until I got there and to be careful and she did, get as soon as the lifeguards noticed she was in the pool without adult supervision they caused a lot of commotion. However, I do understand where they were coming from.

We travel from Manchester because our daughter loves it here. Staff are great, very friendly and you're always made to feel welcome. Place is clean and tidy and there's the chance to have a brew while you know your kids are safe to play.

Came here on a Thursday morning for the Duckling session (couldn't make it to the Orford Hub during the week). Aqua aerobics was on which was extremely loud so it was strange to have a baby group on at the same time. Not so keen that the door from the main area to the family change area was kept open. Place seemed very dated, ceiling tiles missing in the family change area (only 2 cubicles). However, the baby seat as well as the changing unit was very handy. The person looking after the Ducklings class was very friendly and very helpful.

Carparks a bit rough. Could do with a new layer. A few pot holes. But inside. It's a really good community hub. Gym. Library. Parcel collection. Swimming. And so on. Lots to do.

For a workout or other leisure activity that won't cost an arm or a leg, this or another of the LiveWire centres around Warrington are the places for you. Cheaper than most gyms and with a wide range of facilities including a fitness suite, multiple squash courts, 2 pools, sauna and steam rooms.
