Reviews of Bisley Shooting Ground

Booked a group shoot for family of five. Only two had shot a gun before. Age range was mixed 21yrs to 57yrs. Our instructor was simply fantastic. Christine managed us all brilliantly ensuring everyone got the most out of the experience. Booking was simple and efficient. Great value for money. If you’ve never done this before, two hours is plenty for a first go. Would definitely recommend and book again (although one of us might stick to being a spectator, probably much to Christine’s relief!).

Lovely. We had a brilliant experience here. Have a go session with Mark Heath, professional gentleman, taught us super easily about the gun and how I should pose. Shot one box for each one of us and I got silver medal ;) Very enjoyed satisfied!! Strongly recommend

I came to an Open Day about three weeks ago and held the Gun for the first time in my life; enjoyed it so much that soon after it finished, I became a member. I also at the same time booked myself block lessons and have been coming here regularly every week. I would like to thank all staff particularly Marlose, who is so pleasant, helpful, engaging and knowledgeable. Without her help and information I would probably still be thinking of joining. And what can I say about my Instructor, Nick Gander, a perfect teacher and a gentleman, with tonnes of patience and phenomenal temperament and experience - thank you Nick for all the help you are giving me.

My wife and had a fantastic day out at Bisley, both of us as complete beginners. Our instructor was Christine Atkinson, and she did an amazing job walking us through all the steps, and just making everything so much fun. We cannot wait to go back!

I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt it worthwhile in this case. I went to Bisley today to try out a new gun and was quite nervous. I have been shooting for 15 year and take lessons on occasion as I don’t normally find it to be very beneficial. Today was the exception. Christine was my instructor and all I can say is that she is top class. She was engaging, clever and most importantly fun. She encouraged me and I am already looking at when I can book her again. Can’t recommend Bisley instructors more highly.

I had never shot a gun until yesterday so I can't make any comparisons to other venues but can say that Bisley Shooting Ground is absolutely fantastic. My instructor was John Heagren who after teaching me the basics spent the next 2 hours trying to get me to relax and become less 'mechanical'. His ability to identify exactly what needed to be done to improve a shot was fascinating...'aim for the top right corner', or...'stop over thinking'.....'keep both eyes open'. The result in 2 hours was progression from the very basic clay to one being catapulted off a 100f crane, of which I hit 2 out of 10. Bisley Shooting Ground is one of many ranges on this vast complex so don't get confused with other businesses. Bisley Shooting Ground is a very personal, family run business, with an emphasis on having fun and enjoying yourself but with facilities that can challenge all abilities. Thanks to John, Alex and the team for an amazing day.

Living in Sunningdale, Berkshire once allowed me to visit Bisley Shooting Grounds. A great place to revisit with old friends from competition shooting events around the world.
