Before darts there was the bow and arrow. Before the bow and arrow there was the spear. Before the spear there was the stone. Where did the axe come into proceedings? Who cares, this Indoor version of the Medieval sport will bring a smile to your face… if you can harness your inner Eric the Viking. Much can be said of fun activities. To form an opinion, you have to try it. It looks easy enough. Chuck an axe at a target board and hope the axe sticks in. Bet your bottom Canadian dollar, the North Americans have a professional league and they are the world’s best. Axe Junkies is run by enthusiastic staff. They assure me that it’s a sport that is as safe as houses. If the staff member’s Nan can smash it, chances are… you’ll have to ask her to teach you.

Amazing place run by wonderful people. COVID meant we had to rebook our party of 5 and Liv was so so helpful and understanding. Traffic made us late on our rebooked session but again Liv bent over backwards to accommodate. Boys had a fabulous time too! We will be back THANK YOU highly recommended

Absolutely amazing! As a family of mixed ages from 20's, teens and a 10 year old sometimes it is hard to find activities to suit all but we had a great time from start to finish. Liv, the host was really helpful, friendly and kind and even bought a birthday cake out for us and took photos. I can't recommend this place highly enough and we will be going again. Great value for money and such an excellent place to visit.

Fantastic fun! Been a couple of times now. The venue is small, with four lanes, so you get more one on one time and on a quiet day it feels like you have the place to yourself. Staff are really lovely and give you tips on how to improve your technique, checking back in with you regularly throughout the session so you're never left struggling. Our blind and deaf housemate had a blast! 10/10 am looking forward to going back again.

Had such an amazing time, I was a little nervous at first but Liv was so lovely and helpful (to me at least) haha. She made it so much more fun and entertaining. We played different games, threw different items and different ways including some trick shots. Highly highly recommend. Perfect gift for my Birthday from my partner. I was even given a Birthday card with the chance to win a voucher which was a lovely personal touch. And got to meet the most cute dogs as well. What a great day!

What a gem of a find! If you can book yourself in early, it’s literally like you have the whole place to yourself! The owners are super friendly and supportive and the axe throwing part is harder than you think but worth a try. Looking forward to going back

What a wonderful experience! I was really nervous and not sure if it would be very ‘me’, but I had the best time!! The staff were incredible, he absolutely knew what he was doing and how to get the best out of us. There were 5 of us and he adapted his approach to each of us. We had so much fun! Super friendly and helpful staff. What can I say, once you nail that axe into the board for the first time...it's addictive...and fun banter with mates ♥ mini games add competition and dinging a bell after a bullseye feels empowering 💪 Nice and safe with lots of space and rubber bits.

We booked an axe throwing session with Axe Junkies as a social event for our baseball club. It's a fantastic activity and was organised perfectly. The initial communication about the booking with Liv was clear and considerate - Liv was able to accommodate our requests at every stage of the booking process, and kindly reserved all the lanes in anticipation of high attendance. Not only that, but she was enthusiastic and personable throughout, which made the back-and-forth enjoyable. Charlie was our instructor at the session, ensuring every person was getting the most out of it. He edited one of the projectors to display a baseball 'strike zone' for our players to aim for, which was a nice, personal feature. At no point did anyone feel out of control or thrown in the deep end. Thanks to Axe Junkies for making our club feel welcome; we'll be back soon.

Just had a session at axe junkies with my dad and brother as a belated Father’s Day get together; it was so much fun! The staff there were amazing - so friendly and we received great instruction. A good mix of games and tuition. The two sisters working there really couldn’t do enough. Laughed so much my sides hurt! I was absolutely useless but enjoyed every minute. Can’t wait to get my hoody… and to go back again! Thank you so much for making Dad’s evening fun!

Seriously the best thing to do in Worcester! Liv is the best host you could wish for. The activity is simply brilliant. Welcoming doesn't come close to describing how nice these guys are. Can't fault this place at all!

Came here for the second time for a birthday celebration. As always the staff are super friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. My friend with a visual impairment was accomodated wonderfully and the staff are awesome at taking the time to show us the ropes. Was even given a birthday card from the Axe Junkie team. My face still aches from laughing after axe throwing at Axe Junkies in Worcester last night. Booked as a surprise for friends we had a wonderful time making memories. Claire was our host, she was very professional yet very fun ! Everything was explained really well and I loved that we got to ring the hell out of the bells when we hit specific targets. Amazing place! Had a lot of fun for my anniversary celebration. Liv (I'm not sure if I remembered the name correctly) was really helpful and fun to be around. It's a small place, but very welcoming. They have drinks and snacks available, but we didn't end up having anything. I recommend it a lot and can't wait to come back and learn some tricks!

We had tried axe throwing on holiday and had 2 disheartened kids who didn't get their axes to stick. Liv at axe junkies was amazing, she honed all the kids techniques, and ours. Soon we were all hitting the targets consistently. Kids loved it, and they loved her. She made an activity an experience. Definitely recommend, we will be back.

First time axe throwers and we had a very friendly welcome by the staff at axe junkies. Both staff members were incredibly helpful and humorous as they showed us through axe throwing. The activity itself is fun and incredibly safe if you follow instructions. Staff helped us throughout giving us pointers on how to improve our throws. Tip- the earlier you go, the less people there, so you'll have staff on hand to help you throughout. Great activity!

Booked for my 12 year old nephew’s birthday - 6 children in total. They were excellent from start to finish. Helpful with the booking process and then on the day, Liz was brilliant with helping everyone. She made sure each child was given personal attention- especially those who found it a bit harder. Oh my goodness me, this place is awesome. Going to be honest I was rubbish, but the owner was great with the coaching and I succeeded in the end. Really safe, snacks and drinks available. Enjoyed it that much my friend's two sons are going there to celebrate their birthdays
