I love going to the family swim with my 5 month old, however, the water is way too cold for her. I really enjoy Perdiswell in general as well but there’s a brunette lady on the reception that is very very rude.

Very nice updated facility with a world class swimming pool. Good place for mums with kids in swimming lessons as there is a café with refreshments. Also available are toilets that don’t require entrance purchase. I walk my dogs on the golf course often and am grateful to have facilities that I don’t have to share with my canines! There looks to be a good gym & great free parking. Well worth a visit.

Very good venue, huge array of equipment and class options. Big sports hall with a rotation of sporting facilities. Has a pool, cycle focused exercise room and a combination of machines and free weights. The free weights section is limited in comparison to most other areas of the gym and in comparison to other gyms. But by and large all the equipment and needs are met

Good choice of classes but in my opinion some are oversubscribed for the size of the studios, which are all fairly small. Sometimes have to wait a while at reception as well due to lack of staff there. Good gym , but I'd prefer they had a stairmaster. Good value for money though for what you get.

Took the grandchildren there for their swimming lesson great place and would have given 5 stars but disappointed that lesson area was not roped off which allowed the general public to keep swimming in the lesson area of the pool. Which made it difficult for the children having lessons to swim properly across width of the pool. Xx

I only use the pool, which is fine except for the very slippy floor. The changing cubicles tend to fill up with people's clothes as the lockers don't get used since the padlock system was introduced.

Facilities are good and clean however membership prices are quite high and the reception staff almost never answer the phone. Also 2 of the 4 swimming pool showers are incredibly temperamental and have been for a long time now without having any fix applied to them. Regardless, Ben is a brilliant teacher for swimming classes 👍

A busy and very well used leisure venue and swimming pool. Easy to find, masses of parking, surrounded by fields for all manner of sports. The outside well lit but the 1 way traffic system is a bit confusing. There's a nice play area for children. The centre is fully accessible for all ages and abilities. The reception area is spacious and there's plenty of seating and a small Costa cafe which is a bit pricey in my view but has a good selection of goodies. Its possible to buy a range of swimming gear in reception for children and adults. I use perdiswell for swimming so can't comment on the gym or classes. There are 2 pools. 1 25 metre full sized with shallow end at 1 metre and smaller shallow pool for learners. The pool is fully accessible for wheelchair users or swimmers with mobility needs. The pool temperature is good and there are plenty of lifeguards and staff, watching out for everyone. It feels safe and well managed. Staff are friendly and helpful and the swimming teachers all great so far. Lots of adult and children classes from beginner right through. The pool is clean and well maintained. Lots of viewing seats as the pool is used by Worcester Swimming Club and galas. There's a unisex changing village with plenty of cubicles, lockers, showers and hairdrying station. Including family changing rooms. The showers are nice and warm but looking a bit worn as are the lockers which used to have keys but now you take your own. There's usually someone cleaning the changing areas and keeping on top of the usual human detritus you find at public pools. Non slip blue matting throughout is a welcome addition but sometimes it could do with straightening up and I have wondered if it gets cleaned underneath. I fully recommend perdiswell leisure centre. The prices are very reasonable and there's something for everyone. Opening hours very flexible. A great buzz around the place with a real sense of focus on fitness and well being for people of all backgrounds, shapes and sizes and ability. Give it a go.

Terrible with names but the short haired blond lady on reception is always so lovely and amazing with kids and adults too. Had the usual reservations joining a gym - would I go / would I feel out of place / would there be spaces available on the classes / would it be too much money etc. It's surpassed all my expectations - have had no issues joining, booking classes or feeling insecure at the gym or classes as everyone has been so lovely, friendly and helpful. The class instructors are so friendly and full of energy and fun. Jamie and the crazy guy who does combat classes (not good with names) make me want to go again and again. Definitely worth it and very good parking, Covid regulations, facilities etc. Can't fault it. Definitely recommend to anyone local. My daughter also has been doing swimming lesson (on and off due to Covid restrictions) for a couple of years and couldn't be happier with that too and we both look forward to going every Saturday. Very clean - lady who cleans the changing facilities is so lovely too. Costa ladies are always very very friendly and great with kids too. Really great atmosphere from all the staff mentioned above. Definitely recommend.

Booked to go swimming, family session. The website is awful, to register, each child needs a different email address and mobile number!! Anyway, after paying three times, once for each person, with my credit card, I managed to book. Session was great, very well organised so that not too many people are in the changing rooms together. The water was the coldest I have experienced in an indoor swimming pool.

Very shiny and new. Lovely swimming pool with a multi-use area which can be raised or lowered. Lots of activities and classes offered which is great. There's a couple of courts which are used for badminton, netball, and basketball. The gym itself is very clean and new. There is lots of equipment available so you never have to worry about going at peak times. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. People of all shapes and sizes use this leisure centre so it's great if you've never been to a gym before.

I went in to change my twins swim time and the lady behind the desk was awesome at working with my crazy schedule. I haven't been to the gym for 4 years and went in, did the Body combat, which was an absolute killer and I ache like crazy, but the instructor was fantastic. Even though most of the class were regulars he kept helping and motivating me on until I completed the class. The gym technician upstairs was knowledgeable and very helpful as I didn't know how to use the squat machine. All in all they have a stellar team.

Generally very good. Classes, pools (disability friendly), gym. Showers and toilets connected to the pools can be a bit on the grim side but there are staff constantly cleaning. Reception staff are friendly. Obviously gets a bit slow at busier periods but service is fine taking this into account.

Very new and clean leisure center, only used the pool and sports hall, but impressed by both. A point to be aware of, as is the 1st of September (I think) you will need a padlock for the lockers, but you can bring your own or purchase one from the shop.

Excellent children's playground with interesting things to climb on and a wooden and netting "Spitfire" because the place was a fighter aerodrome in WW2. Trampolines set in the ground and a fun little roundabout. Very soft surface in case you fall off and a couple of benches for the adults. Not usually crowded.

First visit since the swimming pool was built and I was really impressed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The changing rooms were a good temperature and the pool was great. Even had a slush drink and a snack from the cafe afterwards. We'll be back again soon.

Friendly staff, a big car park, 3 studios with a great variety of classes, many instructors so classes are not cancelled if one is off sick. The car park can be extremely busy during the events and there is often a big crowd of kids in the swimming pool.

Currently the Perdiswell pool is the nearest that is open given the current Coronavirus situation with Ledbury, Malvern and a long list of others closed. Personally I don’t think they should have been shut for so long. It’s a nice modern clean pool, where the staff have been working hard. On arrival you are given a locker number and cubical to quickly change. Note the lockers have no locks but you could use a small padlock if you wanted. I liked the single lanes. I think they worked well, I don’t think the risk is any greater than going to the shops. As a standard lane in a 25 meter pool is minimum 2 meters wide anyway, and you are exhaling into the water with the exception of backstroke. The only criticism is the pool water was a little too warm for swimming. Apart from that is a continuous swim for 45 mins where a would normally do something more structured. But it’s nice to go swimming again after 5 months.

The facilities are amazong but 90% of the front-of-house/eatery staff are less than useless. I cannot count how much of my life I have wasted whilst they stare blankly at customers in groups of 2 or more when they could easily serve multiple people at once. If you want a coffee or food then I suggest bringing your own, it'll be quicker, tastier and cheaper by far. The swimming pools are good and the changing rooms are always really clean. The showers could feel a bit cleaner and the floor is deadly when even remotely wet. Overall, it's better than the other public swimming pool so it'll have to do.

Decent leisure centre, could spend all day doing different activities. Very clean, staff friendly and supportive, lots of machines in the gym so always something free; freewight section is good but can get crowded in the evenings. Free car parking and lockers are a bonus, only downside is the open plan changing room and showers.

Great facilities, good activities for children. One of mine does trampolining courses the girls who run it are fantastic and adjust for each child's abilities. male manager needs to work on customer service skills, sent us parehts letters on the last trampoline lesson to say we can rebook trampolining that day for the next course, then refused to so I pointed out on my letter he huffed and puffed rolled his eyes and rudely told his staff member to just open the bloody booking then.... Just wow!.... So that's the reason I've not given 5 stars

Got to the hall and nothing is setup and the last group are in there still playing football or something. Thankfully they allowed us to play for a full hour.

Nice looking gym with good facilities, but the class booking/cancellation needs addressing. If you cancel a class 24 hours in advance via the website, your account shows you still need to pay for the class, and you are locked out of booking. Fed up of having to call and complain.

its good it lacks in key areas - No sauna? Why?? even the dolphin centre bromsgrove has one - No splash pool? Also front staff need to be more polite they put me of coming with their rudeness. Ok (ish) it was my first time using the swimming pool, i have 2 small children (20 months and 6 months) clean, tidy and warm but the “children’s” pool difficult to get in and out of with small children if u have to carry them in and out. The main problem I had, and it was a big problem is that the changing room floors are ridiculously slippy! It’s like an ice skating rink, whoever thought that those tiles was a good idea needs to take children through there when wet!! !!!!!! Non slip tiles/rubber type floors??? !!!!! My daughter slipped over twice while holding my hand so I managed to save her but imagine if she wasn’t holding my hand. Sort the floors out before someone has a serious accident.

The gym has everything you want with plenty of equipment so no waiting to use apparatus. The swimming pool area though is a disappointment. Not sure how often the changing rooms are cleaned, but certainly not often enough. The changing room floor, apart from being slippy is filthy, it is dirty from all the school children walking through with their shoes on, there are hairs all over the floor and you find yourself tiptoeing around them. The showers are the same, the shelf to hold your shampoo had come off the wall and the door from the inside of shower was also filthy (last shower cubicle on right). I did feel when I came out that I needed another shower when I got home. The water in the pool is a bit cold but to be honest, because I like to do lengths this is not a problem for me but what was a shock, considering how short a time the pool has been open, the tiles above the water line were already going black. The toilets too were an issue for me, they stunk of urine and when you are barefoot, not great! There seems to be a serious cleaning issue here and if not sorted, the pool will soon start (and in some cases already has) look as shabby as the old pool.

Went to go swimming today as we usually do on Sunday afternoon to find the pool shut. It turns out Perdiswell Leisure Centre decided to cancel family swimming to allow a club to book it for all day Saturday and Sunday. I have no objection to this other than last week there were no signs up saying it would be closed this weekend. While the facilities are good, clearly management have decided not to serve the community they are based in, but to go for as much cash as they can get their hands on. I asked the receptionist when was this advertised and she said she didn't think it was. We drive their today for no good reason other than to waste time and fuel and ended up going to Pershore swimming baths. This review wont change anything, but the management team should be ashamed if themselves. As we turned away from the counter to leave, another family came up and asked if they could swim. We should have guessed something was wrong when cars were doing U-turns amd driving out again as we came in. Clearly there is a management issue amd when management don't care about the local community, it is time they either did the decent thing and resign, or if they don't have the miral fibre to do that, they should be sacked. Todays fiasco is not acceptable.

The smell of urine in swimming changing rooms and showers is very overpowering and unpleasant, clumps of hair all over floor which is disgusting. Need more cleaning !!! Swimming school teachers don't update childs progress online weekly due to wifi issues on teachers ipads?? And then data gets lost so no idea what progress my son as made. Really in this day and age it can't be difficult to fix a wifi issue? Tried to ring and phone just rings out, leave a message and nobody gets back to you. Queues at reception just unacceptable... Think Freedom need to employ more staff, cleaners and ipads that work!

A nice modern gym however it can be tricky getting on machines as they tend to be clogged by Instagram wannabes. Also, until NASA invents noise cancelling headphones good enough, you have to suffer the worst Euro dance music imaginable at Guantanamo Bay volumes. Almost like someone got Now That's What I Call Bad Dance Music for Christmas.
