Reviews of Worcestershire County Cricket Club
This is a great cricket ground.
Small but spacious with character
The cakes provided by the ladies during matches are fantastic as is the home made ice cream
Not a bad way to spend a sunny day....remember suncream next time! 😂
Not just a cricket club, it's much, much more, visited today for a holistic fair, great airy function room, overlooking the pitch and cathedral, premier Inn next door is ideal for over night stays.
Fantastic venue, plenty of amenities, food, drinks etc. Unfortunately The County are not performing very well at the moment. Disappointed to see Moeen Ali leaving for Warwickshire
Had a good couple of days here watching the cricket. A modest crowd, but that makes it so much easier to get around and get a round in.
Wonderful venue suitable for any special occasion, best venue in Worcester
Easy to get to, with plenty of parking near by and not very expensive. Easy to get into ground with good choice of seating areas, good selection of food and drink outlets.
Fabulous venue for conferences & meetings. Well organised & great catering.
Stayed at the Premier Inn and had views of the ground. Did not watch a game, only practise.
Their car parking company are disgraceful! We have been issued a penalty notice after we had paid. Have sent them proof and are awaiting an answer.
Lovely few days watching cricket. Gorgeous cakes
Well done WCCC for revising your no food or drink policy...the right thing to do and speedily done. Great to see The Rapids beat The Bears so comprehensively too...
First ever game with the family. My two boys loved the 20/20, shame about the result though. Good atmosphere, great that you can pick your own seats and sit where you want. Good selection of food. At the end of the match there was a cricket session for kids to join in, they loved it. Will come back.
Superb traditional old ground. Very pretty and very English set in a lovely old town, well worth a visit.
Great sporting venue, excellent service,. Fair prices decent food great beers and lagers plus teas and coffees.
Attended a function in the Graeme Hick Pavilion. The view out onto the Cricket Pitch was great. There was plenty of room and well laid out. Good bar facilities, the buffet and staff were first class. All in all a very good function room.
Great atmosphere for a cricket game. I watched the Royal London cup semi finals. A triller between Kent and Worcestershire
Great day out to watch England lions vs South Africa. Nice ground and lovely City
Great place to watch cricket everyone we spoke to was very friendly great atmosphere
Was there forca presentation evening really nice function room. Great view of the cathedral
Cricket was excellent. Only negative was the bag search in entry was overly thorough and very slow leading to big queues
Visit to Worcestershire County Cricket was yet again, most enjoyable experience. The food is always most enjoyable ( bacon and sausage cobs) are top of the tree. Staff are friendly, and the backdrop of the Cathedral completes the perfect setting. The city centre is also modern and vibrant. Looking forward to next visit.....
Ladies Day - great day - though not enough event staff (sign of the times) and a little disorganised in places but on the whole a great day!
Lovely location with views over the ground and cathedral. There for a corporate/training event. Minor problem, if the windows were closed the room became hot and stuffy, if the windows were open the noise from the lawnmowers could be intrusive. Otherwise great place to be
Went to the Chris moyles night, music was ok, but lack of toilets as always, food trailers had massive queues, no proper bars just selling "cans"....gin & tonic, pimms & lemonade etc. Which they charged £6 each for even though they have the pack prices on the tins of £1.49! Which are extortionate prices and probably against the law.
The best Cricket ground on the county circuit
What a great cricket ground in a wonderful town - easy to get to with plenty of public parking nearby . Great selection of food and drinks - wonderful day out
The day started off with a belief by a member of staff that we didn't belong in the Hospitality Suite. Look at the ticket not my face!! Considering the game started at 11.00, we didn't get anything to eat until 15.30 around the time of second half starting. So quite embarrassingly, everyone sat in silence waiting. There is no covering on the hospitality pavilion, so it's blazing sun all day. Lesson learnt, don't forget the umbrella in the car. The gift shop is great; I bought a good quality Worcester CC scarf for £40. Next to the Shop is a cafe. This looked cosy and had a nice atmosphere. We parked in the shopping mall car park. £1.00 for the whole day.. yes! One pound. Couldn't believe it myself. Whosoever that DJ was for the bill board/scores, you knocked out some great tunes.
Views from just about any seat were good, located in a beautiful part of the world, staff are friendly and the team play good cricket....could do with more concessions perhaps if possible as queues get hectic between innings and i missed the first 2 overs of the reply. Also it would be helpful if the club gave more info about parking on thier website
