Booked a sports day event here via a hen do / events company and the duty manager Aaron could not have been more welcoming, helpful & understanding when taxis let us down and majority of our party were delayed. What a great guy and what a fun afternoon we had at We Play Football York

Good pictches not really slippery when wet but still nice a soft to dive on. I like the netting along the top so you don't lose the ball. We always use same some but believe there are different size ones bookable. You do how ever have the fun of finding a hundreds of little black rubber bits in everything you had on.

We had our sons tenth birthday party here at the weekend. He said it was the best party ever! What more can I say? Charlie was awesome with the kids and seemed happy in his job. This is rare these days! Don't hesitate - book it!

Great place to play football. Ideal for small to medium sized games , especially for children. Changing rooms and showers are clean and there is an area to relax and enjoy a drink afterwards. Ideally placed near to York centre.

Great facilites but could make even better. I have played 6/7 a side here for many years so obvioulsy they are doing something right. A couple of things to improve are the floodlights, they seem to be darker on two of the 6 a side pitches which makes playing in the dark (which is most of the year in the UK) very difficult. The facilities in the bar (TV's and big screen) should be replaced as the TV's flicker and have burn marks on them. The big screen is not set up/aligned properly. Also the drinks prices could be reduced or there could be offers such as discount for your first drink if you have played a match. For what all the players pay to play a little perk/reward like this would be nice. It would also fill the bar which more often than not is empty.

My grandson has been playing there (little messys) every thursday for the last 18mnths. Coach Luke and Charlotte are fantastic with the kids and my grandsons football skills have improved massively ....highly reccommended

Great function room if your looking for somewhere cosy for get together. Down side anything over 100 people would be a squeeze other than that no faults at all.
