Absolutely wonderful service! I did a click and collect order because I'm in the middle of hiking the coastal path with my dog, so can't go inside supermarkets as I have nowhere to safely leave her. There were a few things out of stock that I desperately needed to last me until the next shop, and the man who bought me my shopping kindly offered to wait outside with my dog while I went and found alternatives. What a gem!

Well stocked large shop with a Costa express! What more can you ask for?? I used the self serve till so can't comment on the customer service aspect. There was no queuing, which is always welcome in these crazy times. The car park entrance is difficult to navigate with a large vehicle. If its a camper van or similar size, the turn is incredibly tight and you would probably need to park elsewhere. The parking is free for 30 minutes, otherwise you need to pay.

For a medium sized, local co-op in a small town, this is an excellent store. Refurbished within the past 12 months, it is much improved and carries a great range of good quality produce for the size of the store. Seems consistently well stocked and well managed. Pleasant and helpful staff.

Pretty much a local monopoly for affordable groceries in Barmouth combining big selection of produce and parking facility. Not as cheap as Lidl, but good enough for a tourist town. Mind the local maskoholics - very eager to remind you of your 'lockdown duties'. A tip for those struggling with parking space - no parking warden after 18.00, at least at the point of writing this review. So parking there is great if you're planning to go out for a dinner or take a walk up the hill and back.

The co-op seems like the only good supermarket for miles! It has decent prices and a good range of local produce. It has a large car park which is free, and the supermarket is also big which makes it stand out from other Welsh shops- the Welsh stores will have some things but not everything! The co-op is a good all rounder.

This supermarket gets top points for its selection of good foods and wines and has the added attraction of signage in Welsh with English translations. A high spot for me was that there was a display just inside the door devoted to Welsh cakes. Being born and brought up in England but from Welsh parentage this was an absolute delight. I grabbed several packs and scoffed them later, yum!

Was in barmouth for a week and have to say there was a lady in the kiosk with dark hair who was lovely. They were really busy and not many staff at the time and they were working really hard to get everyone served. I work for co op myself and no how hard its been the last few months so well done and keep up the good work.

A good alround shop I wish that they sold Applaws national cat food 21x100g in trays. As it's great food and more environmentally friendly package and we have to travel 10 miles away to get them. But better than the silly pouches that the other make do are bit to make the world better as little metal trays can be recycled.

There are not a lot of options when it comes to supermarkets in North Wales, but the Barmouth Co-Op has a good selection for a smallish-store, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The opening hours are convenient, and although it gets very busy during summer weekends it's easy to get around.

Probably the only supermarket in North Wales? Prices are much cheaper than South Wales's local Co-op's. For example I pay £4.00 for 2 bottles of well known cola locally but here two for £1.99 was the order of the day!!! About a third cheaper here than my local Co-op for sure. Think I'll move to Barmouth. Well, I can wish can't I?

It's very small, always busy being as the only supermarket in barmouth. If you going for a food shop with a trolley will take a while to get round and then it takes ages to check out for how busy it is and not enough staff on the check outs.
