Happy to see that the car park issues are fixed and only those motorists who park here and leave the parking space without shopping are being fined . It’s a great advantage that they offer 90 minutes free parking for customers that too in Stratford road.

A one stop shop for your Asian grocery especially if you are from Kerala This store caters for all the vegetables , meat , spices, powders and frozen Kerala cuisines. There is a huge variety of Rice and Atta to suit everyone's taste. There is ample parking but its monitored and if you stay for more than prescribed time you could be fined. There is always people to help you on the ground.

Local Asian supermarket. It has parking for about 20/30 cars which is a bonus, especially on Stratford road which is always congested and you can't find parking anywhere. Inside the supermarket they do fresh halal meat, chicken and fish. As well as all Asian essential food such as spices, condiments, different types of rice, flour and lentils. As well as fresh and canned fruit. They also do odd and sods like accessories and some small children's toys.

First time visiting, and the entrance is amazing. So many colours and varieties of vegetables. Every spice you could wish for and staff on hand to help point you in the right direction. This store has everything at fantastic prices. Only slight issue was the capsicum bell peppers looked a little end of life and going wrinkly, coriander was a little limp and a few leaves browning, and though there was elmlea couldn't find any real cream. Everything else was amazing. Didn't know you could get garlic cloves, onions or pineapples that large! Will definitely be back. Always happy to support an independent business.

The staff is not friendly, 1 or 2 exceptions, rest of the staff is unfriendly. It 20 minutes before the closing time maybe that's why, but they just wanted to push everybody out and shut the shop as soon as possible.

If you love visiting niche world food stores and exploring the shelves, in this case food from South Asia, then Goldens is a treasure trove. It has a large variety of all types of fresh or packed foods and related items such as disposable plates. There's even a butcher for you to procure fresh meat. If you like the streamlined shopping experience found in mainstream supermarkets Goldens may not be for you. Whilst there are places much more cramped and disordered than Goldens, there is room to improve shopping flow. Aisles aren't the widest and there's a few dead ends. Ultimately, it's an issue of limited space so they've done well considering. It should also be noted that a customer car park is available on an otherwise extremely busy stretch of road. Overall a positive experience.

Excellent Asian grocery store. We buy often from here. You will find all Indian vegetable and spices here like a normal big Kirana store in India or Pakistan. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is good parking space available outside. They also do home delivery if you buy above 50 GBP. But delivery is next day.

The largest supermarket for Indian groceries I've visited so far. Very well-maintained and spacious. The staff were very actively arranging all the shelves and the billing counters were well organized too. Social distancing measures were reasonably implemented and the store has a separate parking space too. It's also at a prime location with a lot of South Asian and Middle Eastern stores, so on a normal day, a lot of other shopping needs can be covered in the locality. Would recommend to anyone willing to travel a bit into the suburbs to shop.

Right I go to goldens supermarket Maybe once a month as I live quite far so I tend to buy in bulk! I like the fact that they have a big car park and I like the meat sections, pulses and spices etc. they have other stuff too which is no interest to me! but having said that it’s a proper supermarket where some people can shop whether it’s cheaper or more. I went there this morning I noticed on some of the items that the prices have increased a little? but I suppose due to covid all the Other shops will have had to increase their prices too? In terms of female staffs I only go to Noreen she’s very friendly but I can’t comment on the others as I have never been served by them ? Like I said I always go to Noreen! The male at the meat counter are ok they are always busy sometime forgets that you are standing there waiting to be served unless you call them but nevertheless they are friendly and I tell them exactly how I want the meat done and it’s always to perfection so no complaints there. Now in terms of the male staffs I keep myself to myself I don’t care if they say hello to me or not as I am there to buy meats, pulses etc but when it comes to helping with the shopping to my car they are always there and polite and I always thank them and they always say your welcome! So to me they are there to work and to be honest they are always busy with filling shelves so they don’t have to be friendly! That’s my opinion! Overall I am very happy to shop their once a month or so and I have no complaints or bad comments for anyone!

Not as competitive on price as many other shops nearby but on the plus side it has a huge selection of goods and a car park. Buying meat was a bad shopping experience as they ask you to go to the main checkouts, pay, get receipt and go back to meat section....not good when you are in a hurry.

The supermarket has a large variety of food items. Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Sri Lankan items are mostly available here. Specially the large variety of Pickles like Priya, Mothers and shaan are popular and I personally have not seen more than that in any UK shops. Also most Indian Vegetables are available though it's on an expensive side. Ready Dosa and Idly batter is famous among the crowd. This is the only store in UK to claim having Indian groceries of the many I have Visited, most of souh Indian (mostly Andhra, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka) things are available. Well!! First of all, without any hesitation I liked this place very much. Though I stay almost 1 hr away from this store I always visit the store since they have all the stuff that I need and of course at reasonable price. I recon to tell that the store has everything that a very good Indian supermarket has, the prices are way cheaper that I can spend on train and go there and buy. Vegetables and fruits are fresh, all the stuff is in stock and very friendly staff to assist if we need any help finding things. Since the prices are low, one don't have to expect major discounts, however the prices itself are like discounted.

From great discounts to the heavily overpriced. They seem to have both extremes, from the cheap frozen foods to the really expensive fresh fruit and meat. The down side is the security guard who always stops you when parking and sometimes asks for a receipt (proof of shopping), even though you're about to make your way into the shop.

Great store with extensive range of fresh veg, spices etc I wrote this last week. It does have every spice you can imagine and a wide range of exotic ingredients, needed for good curries such as fresh curry leaves, fresh method, fresh coriander etc. The staff are friendly and helpful. But, I was very disappointed when I carefully selected a leg of lamb ( not mutton considerably cheaper and tougher ) that was weighed at £24. You then leave the butchers's area and pay at the till and return with a paid tab that you present. Sadly, maybe thinking I would not know the difference, when I returned the man serving me, used the electric cutting machine to slice it into 5cm portions on the bone ( so you get all the flavour including the marrow ) but he had substituted mutton for the lamb I had paid for. It took 4 hours to tenderise and oozed lots more water than normal. Sabia agreed that without doubt it was mutton. I was not happy and will never buy "lamb" from there again
