This is an old establishment. It offers fruit and vegetables outside; both per kilo and a pound a bowl. Fruit and vegetables bought here such be eaten soon as they decay quite rapidly, compared to supermarket produce. Inside, there is the usual drinks and snacks, that are typical of an Asian supermarket. Nice friendly staff. Overall recommended.

Nice little local grocery shop. Parking on Coventry road can be a real nightmare but If you so find a parking spot, then you can find some bargains in the fruit outside.

Good for a local supermarket, they have Green + Blacks organic cocoa for the same price as the usual Cadbury's. Nice set of instant teas including Royal Chai (they don't have the full set though).

Fantastic variety of "desi" type ingredients/foods in one shop. Some items were slightly more expensive than other similar local shops, but the great variety available in one place, and the fact that most things were very well priced, made it a great stop off for supplies. Also some great value fresh groceries 'out front', like a big bowl of fresh green chillies was £1! If you went to a big brand supermarket, you would pay quite a bit more for many of the items available here, but why did I give 4 stars a after all this praise? Two or three small niggles which won't really bother a lot of the locals, but might be a small irritation to those less versed in "desi" ways or smaller independent shops: 1. Minimum spend for a card transaction is £5 (it should be noted though, that they did not charge anything extra for the card use, so better than some smaller businesses). 2. If your Urdu/Hindi is non-too impressive; the staff will sometimes struggle to understand the English names for some products. They're usually ok for general conversation though, and I felt they were forgiving of my lack of lingo. I recommend researching/googling the alternative names for anything unusual you are trying to hunt down, if you only know the English word for an item. E.g. turmeric is known as haldi or halude. If you know what it's called, you will almost certainly find it here! 🙂

Used to operate with differnt name couple years ago change their name but still look like same people own it cheap stuff outside selling as pound a bowl but look at it before you buy sometime it's not worth buying inside it's not very big but does have lots of variety of asians food

I have used this supermarket since it opened and have nothing but praise for it. The staff, including the owner, are always polite and helpful. The store is always clean and well stocked and prices are very competitive. Even during the height of the pandemic, there was no price hiking at all, which was very commendable. Would highly recommend.
