S. S.A friend recommended this greengrocers, so I paid my first visit as couple of weeks ago. I don't normally go to the shops nearby and they're not far from me either.
This is a good, old fashioned greengrocers run by a lovely gentleman who has run it for many years. Ok, it's a little dearer than some places, but it's all fresh and he will save something if he hasn't the the produce in that day or has sold out, as he did with a net of pickling onions today as he'd sold out yesterday and again today as they were all reserved for people.

The shop is old and outdated but service and knowledge is the best you will ever find. I love this store.
D. W.I wanted to send a thank you gift to a family friend and during covid-19 epidemic I thought a fruit and veg box would be a fantastic idea. I enquired if the fruit shop was able to accommodate and they were. It was such an easy transaction, I visited the shop explained the situation and they advised on what they thought was best, they took all the details and the boxes were delivered free of charge the next day along with a thank you card I asked to be included. Would definitely visit this shop again to buy another fruit/veg box as a gift or just pop along and do my weekly fresh fruit and veg shop.
Cannot recommend enough, such lovely people who are so accommodating and know their fruit and veg.
