Reviews of Asda Bournemouth Superstore
Love the store! A lot of out if stock items that I wanted but doesn't affect the experience I had at the store. Customer service is excellent. When I had questions the man was very smiley and helpful and was very kind. I also appreciated the fact that I didn't want to talk to anyone and I was left to do my shopping without anyone asking if I'd like help. Always shopped at this store since I was a young teenager due to living very close, it's improved so much it's unbelievable how good the store looks now in comparison to how it used to be.
Managed to get another Xmas present
Great place has everything from phones to cloths to food to stationary 😂
Huge Asda, with clothes section, and TV dvd and games section, ample parking
Plenty of Choice but really big queues
Every thing I needed was in store
Great place
Plenty of staff, plenty of products which are difficult to find if like me you rarely shop there
Best donuts :)
And a lot of other good stuff for good price
Very pleasant. Plenty of space and plenty of bargains.friendly staff
Great shop fabulous deals and service my Auntie Sonya shops there
Always plenty of choice of products, highly rate George clothes, well made & good quality/value especially buy 2 articles for a special price. Food prices are pretty competitive. Not impressed with their hot cross buns, dry & lacking that spicy flavour, not enough fruit inside.
I like McDonald’s 👍
Large supermarket with the same deals and variety as any other. There is a McDonald's inside.
Great store. Well materialized. Great atmosphere.
Helpful staff, great and cheap products, available till late
Absolutely brilliant especially in these difficult times, wish to express my thanks for all staff, working so hard
No problems.Only bought a few items.
good and by coach station. with mcdonalds
Well laid out. Easy to find what you need
Staff happy to help.
Clean store and good products 👍
Very big, has everything one needs here.
I love this ASDA superstore. Offers a great range of different products, I did even found some of my German favorites, and also kind people working there. As I have to live glutenfree, I am superhappy about the giant range of GF products, that's awesome! The shop is also clean and stuff is easy to find, can really recommend this supermarket.
it is very good service and good price
I love this place. Only problem is very limited staffs available for assistance
Very good prices and convenient
I needed some food, so I went shopping, Asda sells food, so I bought some there, job done 🙂 😊 🤗 😀 😃 😊
Quite big, but I found some things to be missing or be hard to locate. Friendly staff.
All things under one roop. Just name the thing and you will get in ASDA
I am not a fan of Asda, only use if I have no choice.
Please add bumpers to the concrete lamp post bases in the carpark, they are a nightmare when parking
Found everything I needed - and a great McDonald's!
Everything you need, I just wish it was open a little bit longer each day
Good and lots of choices with fresh veg and fruit, but it does go off rather quick,
nice shop. delicious food. ☺
I love to shop there :-)
Big Asda, lots of stock and helpful staff
Huge store brilliant
Big ASDA store with the things you need
Good prices but far from the town centre
Git everything i needed
Standard asda
It was full and I could buy anything what I would like.
Good quality food at reasonable prices
Great variety of goods. Plenty of parking across 2 floors. Opticians, currency exchange, pharmacy and McDonald's all located inside Asda. Clothes banks at the back of the car park. Car wash on lower level.
Anything do you want in this shop
Store with good prices and grátis variety on offer
Not everything, but most of the things are available
Like shopping her nice food
It's ok to go shopping
Lots of parking and we'll stocked.
Very spacious superstore
good live shopping. worst delivery ever tho
A big Asda supermarket with clothing and home department
Good store, decent prices
Escalators often break down and there can be a a bit of a search for a shopping basket. Go after 9pm and aisles are often blocked by restocking trollies preventing you from reaching the product you require. Otherwise friendly staff who do there best to help you.
Decent supermarket.needs more organisation
Car park spaces far too small.
I love this asda, so convenient!
Good quality and very good price !
A very good shopping trip.
It has everything needed for one shop
Well stocked store,
Big asda with small macdonalds
Pleasant, friendly and helpful staff
Good and friendly customer service
It's a supermarket easy parking not a bad variety of product,s you do tend to get groups of student,s and holidaymakers stopping in groups near the exit and entrance but be polite and they will move staff are always ok
tasty
The best! Everything you need 👍
The Cake Aisle is sweet!
Chaeper than Sainsbury's!!
They do the general stuff, and more
MAKE SURE YOU SCAN LEFT TO RIGHT !!
Very nice
Wide choice, good prices
All ok.
It was good
So they've just had a bit of a shift around and I'm still not sure.
There's always great food here and prices aren't bad. Free parking is a bonus and it's useful for those just off the train purchases.
BIG DOWN SIDE is that there is always hold ups at the checkouts, the self scan area is so long you can never tell if the end ones are free and the scan as you go is not open throughout the whole store opening hours.
Great products!
Huge store and loads of products
Outstanding ,best day ever
you can find whatever you want
The staff are very helpful
Nothing special it could be better.
great variety of products
The best superstore in Bournemouth
Its ASDA, what can I say?
Very good service
Very kind personal, i am foreign and i was looking for a product that i didnt know how is called here and Sue was patient and she tried to help me in diferent ways until we localizated it. Also Alan, a guy in the cashier who help us a lot. Thanks to people like that i always choose Asda, because customer service is nice!
Great big store
Theres a dons inside!!!!
Saved me as a student!

Excellent
Wide range of goods. Very competitive pricing. Bought 3 packs of different meats for £10 - 6 meals for me! Lots of offers. Beginning to stock Christmas items now. Large car park, loads of trolleys. Includes a pharmacy, tobacconist. Selling fireworks now. (3rd November). Reasonable number of disabled parking spaces. Cashpoints.
The lift for disabled people not working. Had to be pushed around the building up steep levels to the top floor to shop there.
No internet signal good enough to access online vouchers.... caused irritation to other customers and to the cashier as the manager didn't understand what was going on. The cashier tried to explain the problem but manager blamed cashier for being too slow..... it was not cashiers fault.
Huge store, almost everything available
:D :*

Large superstore
First class!!!!
Love this place
Lots of thing
Cheap, cheap, cheap!!
Cracking place!
I have used this place quite often however never again after 4 staff members enjoying a chat while I was being messed around by the self service tills. So I had to interrupt them for some help a quick scan and my next item didn't go through, I waited for a minute or 2 while the 4 staff members enjoyed their chat. Unwilling to repeat my interruption I informed them I will shop elsewhere. On my way out I bought this to the attention of the customer service desk who didn't seem concerned and advised me 7 in the evening is a bad time to use self service (there were more staff than customers). So apparently it was my fault for shopping 5 hours before they close. Needless to say I shan't be shopping there again.
Large store
Grate shop
Good staff Sam helped me
Good place to get groceries. Halal chicken is available.
You can buy everything in one place
There is an offer, even international
The products are beautiful, many varieties.
The staff is mostly cultured
We shop here most often.
Everything is there, simple and practical
Very good market. I often went there for the plain triangle sandwiches. There are great promotions. I recommend.
The store is in a shopping center right next to the bus and train stations, so in a very good location for travelers. You can of course pay by card. The downside is that you can't find all the products at the self-service checkouts - you had to ask the staff for help to enter the code for some rolls/breads because they couldn't be found on the screen.
A huge supermarket with a small and expensive fresh fruit department, but the sweets department is extremely huge and the (health-harmful) sweets are totally cheap! The sweets in an unseen variety are basically thrown at people. Whole birthday cakes, real calorie bombs, are offered even for small children. When it comes to fruit and vegetables, however, you really have to look for inexpensive offers.
At the front in the entrance area there is a branch with the big yellow M. Here too, there are special offers that no one can eat in such quantities. Bundles based on the motto "buy more - save more" like in America increase fast food sales.
It is a different way of shopping and consuming than in Germany. It's still an experience worth shopping there. One of the few shops that stay open longer. Almost all shops close and 5:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
It is a place where you can find a wide variety of products at a reasonable price, however I have to point out that the staff who works there show at every moment that they are not satisfied with their work... it's not just that you ask and they tell you go to such an address or I have no idea where it is or I don't know what my workplace is or isn't, among them it is evident all the time that they are dissatisfied and they don't care to show it, I even think that's a reason. .from the rest the food average...yes nes asda and you can get anything there...unfortunately it's not true
A chain of ASDA food and non-food stores, very well structured, professional, kind staff, affordable prices, I don't think you won't find what you're looking for. everything ok
Good medium sized store with a clean layout and less staff than a few years ago. Plenty of room to park, a McD on site as well as a good Pharmacy. Very difficult to exit the car park at certain times as joining traffic at the end of 338 Wessex Way.
Can also be busy with students at certain times, so shelves sometimes wiped out on popular lines.
Now I am in Bournemouth United Kingdom and I am having a great time, I love it because literally the prices of food in general are quite low as long as you don't go to expensive places but in general everything is very very cheap
Most beautiful there is
A very wonderful supermarket with all what you need under one roof
Shopping fun
(Translated) Very good !!

Muy bueno !!
A diverse market, everything in it meets the needs of the family
You will find everything you need and the price-quality ratio is excellent. British products
Big British Supermarket. Get everything you need.
There is a lot of variety for shopping
Here you will find everything you need.
Great, big and well organized
This is moderately sized for an Asda store, with the usual range of groceries and non food products, as well as concessions for pharmacy, key cutting and a McDonald's. There is plentiful parking across two levels and travellators, stairs and lifts provide easy access. This store is usually quite busy, being adjacent to the rail and bus interchange and one of the main routes into Bournemouth
Very good and very helpful
Best market of Bmth

I like this branch of ASDA as it is really cosmopolitan with its clientele and staff and the stock reflects especially in the food aisles. The staff are so very friendly. Only downside is the difficulty getting out in your car at busy times as the exit route is difficult competing with the the bus station and the busy three Lane road to a busy roundabout .
Free 3 hour parking, with a no return with 2 hours. Back entrance near train station has been closed down due to lack of security staff. Security staff are employed by Asda so may not know retail security as well as SIA Licenced Officers. Polite and helpful staff on hand if you have an issue. If they get a little grouchy please be advised they are meant to be stacking shelves etc and management may have a set time for them to do it in. Prices are low and good quality items in the store.
a very large store
a melting pot of people can be found , students , homeless , multi nationality's. The McDonalds is always rammed.
A great selection of items & friendly staff.
The car park is a hectic at times and traffic can be bad due to location by the train station.
Sadly the car park has many beggars / homeless which can be intimidating for some.
The diversity of products they have is large.
Store is good. However there is an inherent issue when trying to exit the car park. The exit ramps for both car parks verge onto a slip road which gets congested to the point where both car parks remain in gridlock for hours. This happens frequently and is very frustrating. I've been the victim of this 3 or 4 times now, so if you're in a rush to get anywhere, don't bother coming here. No 9ne will help either.
Asda is getting much better than before! Always more vegan and vegetarian options are available and i see more healthy foods every time i come in :)
Would be nice to have more loose fruits and veggies
Staff very helpful and smilie, except the ones at the self service tills, depending on a team.
My local Asda. Keen prices and plenty of choice. The folks on the checkouts are always helpful but half the checkouts are always closed and the rest have long queues. 10 mins shopping followed by 15 mins queueing.! I never, ever use the very, very busy self-serve checkout. It's putting people out of jobs.
So 6/10. Could do better...
Convenient, clean, and great prices. There’s free 3 hour parking (and plenty of it). The store has a McDonalds at the front, money exchange, opticians, pharmacy, and so much more. The store is bright and clean. Shelves were well stocked. There were many tills so no waiting in a queue.
The same as many ASDA's, affordable and good offers. As a student, this is very convenient for me - there are also often deals on alcohol :) Store staff are friendly enough. The McDonalds inside is always very tempting to!
Liked the gnomes, but found the milk and bread hard to find relative to their need. Also found predicting the quantity of carrier bags required to carry the food difficult, although this could not be considered the fault of the shop.
I've always liked this branch - much better than either of the Poole stores or Southampton. The staff are excellent and have a really good customer service ethic.
Fresh vegetables are superb with loads of stuff available loose - for example I needed a handful of chillies today for a soup ... so I bought 8p worth. Try doing that in Waitrose or Sainsbury's.
Not a massive store, but big enough to carry a good range of food, household gear, toiletries etc.
Plenty of parking (free for three hours) on two levels. McDonald's in-store if you're desperate for a bacon & egg mcmuffin.
Very close to the railway station so you'll often see hordes of hen-weekend lady visitors stocking up on vodka and prosecco on Saturday mornings.
Great store always well stocked, staff are friendly and helpful, McDonald's is fast and clean and food is fresh. Only issue is the disabled toilets has been out of order for a while which is inconvenient
Updated. Asda is my most convenient pharmacy and receives email prescription, subsequent dispensing has been correct - maybe last review was due to locum pharmacist.
Jan 2020 From 5* to 1*
Pharmacy did not dispense as described on prescription, advised 'out of stock' with wholesaler. On the same day, another pharmacy ordered and supplied correct medicine. Cannot now recommend.
Oct 2018 appointment for flu jab, easy to book, informative and friendly pharmacist, highly recommend
2017 Excellent customer service in finally obtaining out of stock NHS prescription
The shop is fine but the entrance for those on foot is very bleak. If you arrived in Bournemouth by bus or train and did not know the town, you would find it difficult to find your way in through the deserted, sometimes smelly lower floor of the car park.
As far as Asda stores go, this one is at the top of the pile. It has everything you might need under one roof like clothing, shoes, opticians electronics plus male & female disabled toilets. The main downfall is exciting the carpark onto busy Saint Paul's road. Other than thay I would recommend this place for a shop.
Always a bit busy but still good superstore.
Mostly out of stock all the time.
Ever items there are cheaper than those at Sainsbury's and Tesco. I bought towels that were £5! And they got different kinds of beer.
Plus, it's right next to the train station, so if you're mad enough to just take a train purely to shop at Asda, go for it.
Very happy, can always find car park space, staff are always helpful and there is a big range of foods in here
Cheaper than most other supermarkets and they also guarantee to be 10% cheaper than the other big supermarkets. Not overly impressed with the quality and life of some of their fresh produce. Also very crowded most of the time
Shopping at Asda is great, but the pharmacy is a big let down.
Waiting time for your prescription is minimum 1/2 hour.
Is it a gimmick to get you to shop whilst waiting???
Equipped with everything you can look for, from every type of food to home accessories, excellent for students thanks also to the fact that the prices are quite good and for the proximity to the oxford point
Big store with plenty of choice, and while there is a free two-level car park, it can be a nightmare to get out of at all hours of the day due to heavy volume of traffic. If you just want to nip in and get something I'd suggest finding somewhere without this problem.
Its a good supermarket convenient and reasonably priced.
the queue's are controlled well but unlike other stores they don't seem to wipe down trolleys and basket handles given how easy it is to spread the virus.
Not bad at all.
Excellent security excellent staff goods readily available easy to navigate round store
Having been a cook all my life..love your food but why oh why did your bakery chef introduce icing sugar on donoughts it's sacrilege. .tesco don't sugar all the way x
Great store, has everything I needed when I visited there last. Staff are warm and welcoming.
Bigger Asda. Big collection. Large parking area. Car wash nearby.
-Pharmacy
-Opticians
Excellent range of food, drink, clothing and homeware. Sometimes the store's a little scruffy but that's probably because it's very popular, especially with students.
Fresh fish and fresh pizza making place . You have got Indian frozen parathas, also mc. Donald's inside. Lot of parking space
Dumb having a sign saying opens at 6am but doesn't open until 7
Great place for all your needs they even have a mc donalds! Always very busy, so car park can be a bit of a nightmare
Dear Asda, thank you so much for putting long jeans on the bottom shelf medium jeans on the middle shelf and short jeans/ petite jeans on the top shelf where the short people can barely reach them, seems like you put a lot of thought into that. Much appreciated.
Great offers i always shop at Asda it's the best place I've ever shopped I won't go anywhere else
Very good store easy parking safe good range of everything don't go on bank holidays hard to get out good staff well trained coach stn train stn near by
Getting worse and worse. Empty but still long queues at tills. Missing essential food. Untrained staff. I'm rather going to the Castlepoint Asda.
Staff friendly & shop generally better stocked than Poole store ! Plenty of bargains over other stores in Central Bournemouth & good for hoiliday essentialz!
Best Asda store in the country ... easy parking ,airy , under crowded and clean
Shopped there for ages, fabulous range at reasonable prices. Home delivery or pickup after online ordering are excellent services and staff are generally willing to go out of their way to help when ever I've needed the help.Great Job guys!! Especially during covid - you guys worked tirelessly - putting yourselves at risk for us! That's going above and beyond in my book and I for one really would like to thank you all!
A great place to shop anything from groceries to clothes for men women and children and some electrical items too and there is a McDonald's in side too and a foreign exchange booth and a place to have your digital photos printed too
Wicked place to do your shopping
Love the place. They have really cheap stuff especially for students at BU.
Very nice staff, always stocked, lacks gluten free products
Central position free parking Asda at its best always busy you. Go in to spend 50 and spend over double. Something for everyone.
My place
Always a nice product selection and kind a fair price
Its a nice place to shop staff are friendly sometime well stocked up but over all is good
A large shop with a great range and variety of products. Clean shop, friendly staff and easy to find what you want with good prices.
Staff don't really pay attention on the self service checkouts and you can be waiting a while with no apology
Large supermarket, almost every necessities available in one roof. and with reasonable prices too. Free parking available. Can be too crowded at times.
ASDA Bournemouth it is a big Supermarket vhere you can shop all you need!! Recommended!!
The system with the self checkouts could be better. And I was not able to find ice tee in big bottles.
What an.amazing store.
Excellent Ladies clothes Excellent produce
Excellent plants Excellent staff efficient and courteous. Thank you Asda.
Nice big Asda. Right next to the coach and train station. Good location. Used the McDonald's often too.
Why do people go to Tesco and Sainsbury's lol it really is a no brainer. Asda sells everything for cheaper and amazing quality!
Asda Bournemouth now good prices tend to shop there daily
A special thanks to the Pharmacy fantastic service and advice always
ROB WOTTON
Big food shop with MCD inside
Its a big asda supermarket, you can find nearly everything here all with very competitive prices and a decent quality-cost ratio
Nice place to buy pretty much evwrithing you want , not to mentikn that is situated next to trainstation, bus station , bus stop? Petrol station, and town center... yaaay... go go go ASDA
Good wide range of fresh produce especially meat and vegetables.Although meat choice isn't quite what it used to be.
I will give 4 stars as we when in here on a Saturday morning and my first time in a Asda's in Bournemouth and i really want a coffee and guess what they do have a McDonald's inside? Wow i have never see one of this so far so yes i did had my morning coffee and a bit of grocery shopping the supermarket is no like other as Asda's service was good and the store was very clean So we was happt with it do i go back? Well if i am visiting Bournemouth again i will do go back 👍
Brilliant sometimes I'm come to visit Ikea the food is good and we had a great time together
Friendly and helpful staff. Good prices for essential items.
Gonna get most of the household required things. Little expensive compared to other competitors.
Lovely shop very big and right next to the train station. Also on root to the town centre and beach
Different brands of same product, fare prices.
THE STORE IS DECENT IT CAN BE BUSY BUT WHATS CONCERNS ME I HAVE SEEN A LOT DRUG TAKERS AT THE BOTTOM.
Free parking. International food section really outstanding! Quicker check outs as well.
Wide choice of groceries at affordable price. No compromise on quality.
Big store enough item's on stock
The staff can be a little grumpy sometimes, but they have so much that you can buy that is good for your money ☆
As far as ASDAs go, I prefer this one to the Castlepoint branch- easier to park, and the bakery is far superior and usually well stocked. The car park is a little unpleasant and you'll often get badgered for money, and then having to deal with anger when you do not let them keep the pound out of your trolley. You do however get free parking for 3 hours and I have never had an issue finding a spot.
Like an ASDA.
Always got everything I need, parking is easy and prices are great!
Amazing 👏 🙀
Its okaay , i prefer lidl and aldi . They are better priced and easier to find stuff.
Always worth coming here - good parking but can sometimes be difficult to exit.
Castlepoint has bigger selection but the toilets smelt like pineapple 🍍
As long as you're not homeless or a drug addict
Not a superstore so limited choice
Very busy, but not to bad, will shop there again
a worker burped in our face, will be returning.
As far as Asda stores go, this one is top of the pile. It's location is its saviour and it's downfall. It has everything including a clothing department, opticians, electronics and gaming section, male/female and disabled toilets with baby changing facilities, there is even a small Macdonalds. Every part of the store is wheelchair friendly with a escalator and lift to access the large two level car park. The main down side to this places location is exiting the car park onto the busy Saint pauls Road, try this at rush hour and you can be in for a long wait.
