Shop was set out beautifully. Staff were helpful. Had lunch there. Which was good. Only thing was the making of our tea, it was like being at a fair in a church hall. Messy, lady making it just put a tea bag in a mug an poured water on it. No tea pot! Bit old school for such a modern supermarket. Lucky it wasn't busy!

Big into wide isles, clean and friendly staff with every option available. I definitely appreciate the Asian range and hope they expand the options for making ramen and udon. Edit* Next visit I was greeted by an expanded selection of Asian choice, absolutely amazing. The Boa Bun kit will be appreciated by the whole family :)

Very large spacious store. Plenty of room to browse. I bought some clothing. The prices were very reasonable. I didn't have to wait at the tills as there are so many. They have such a variety of products from home to good etc.

Some staff more helpful and friendlier than others. Majority have good attitudes and work ethic. Store was clean and well stocked. Clearly labelled aisles and well lit. Has wheelchair access to car park with lifts from lower ground floor up and is accessible throughout. Their cafe serves up great tasting food, is clean and prices are fair with great service from kitchen staff and cashiers. They have toilets but I didn't use them. The reason for a missing star is entrance / exit area can get really crowded, especially with the current works going on and narrowing of walkways to the entrance or on exiting. May need a rethink to make it roomier and more welcoming.

I like this store. As well as the usual groceries, Sainsburys sells things that don't appear elsewhere. Here, you can find Moroccan dry, black olives, harissa, lamb shanks, etc, etc. Prices are good, quality is excellent, foodstuff is fresh and there is plenty of sparkling clean, open space in the store. Staff members are friendly and helpful and the staffing level is good. This branch of Sainburys sits at the apex of Castle Point Shopping Centre, a large car-parking area and several bus stops.

Sainsbury's is located at the popular Castlepoint Shopping Mall with a variety of other well known stores within walking distance. Free parking, lifts, stairs & escalators nearby.

I don't actually go to this Sainsbury's because it's a bit out of my post code but on this occasion I was advised to by someone from another store. In a last minute dash for a Hulk fancy dress, I was told that Sainsbury's at Alder Hill had a great selection of fancy dress, so at 19:30hrs Thursday night I set of in search of kids dream, I found a Hulk costume that was the ish and took it home ready to suprise my boy for the next morning. The store was massive and had stacks of interesting stuff...🇬🇧💪

There is something I particulary like in this Castlepoint Sainsbury's : the fruits in packages with the mention "imperfectly tasty". The imperfect strawberries I bought today were excellent and really affordable. In France where l come from, we tend to be wary of perfect fruits. Nature ignores imperfection, so don't hesitate to buy "imperfectly tasty" fruits or vegetables next time you go Sainsbury's.

This is a great store with safety in mind for customers and staff. There is safety divider between cashiers but no wipe down after each customer. They accept cash and credit payments in store. There is possibility for online purchase and delivery. Excellent for daily shopping. Highly recommended. Thank you and have a great day.

Haven't been here in years and had a great experience. Some things abit pricey. Lots to choice from. Great layout. Big isles. Really liked how they don't have alcohol on most ends of the islands like Asda so that was just great! (As personally don't agree with it being advertised so much). Sainsbury just had it in the one main section. They also have a great healthy meals section. Will be coming back again. 😃

Its clean, well stocked and can usually find what I want. Whenever I've had questions or struggling to find something, the staff have always been friendly and very helpful. Covid restrictions have altered things slightly but it is well thought out and implemented plus they have the added new feature of argos in store which is a really convenient location for pickup of orders.

I don't do the shopping very often I have to admit, so I rely on the staff to assist probably more than most. They are very helpful and I've even got into the smart shopping, with a little help from a very patient young assistant. I only left one item behind today (banana's in the scales) and forgot where I'd put the scanner 2-3 times. It's wonderful what you can do with the help of whatsapp and a smartphone, a few photos were needed 😉

This store has always been well stocked, the staff are friendly and helpful. It has a handy cafe, which was closed during lock down and still closed yesterday (Dec 2nd). The undercover parking at Castle Point means you can take your trolley down the travelator and load in the dry.

I think this is a good Sainsbury's. Really wide aisles and lots of bright lights. I use this as a top-up shop if I can't get things elsewhere and find it really easy to get specialist items like vegan alternatives or uncommon spices.

Live well for less: The covid review: well controlled entrance and exits and queing. Well laid out, bright and clean supermarket. Clear 2 meter social distancing markers all around the shop. Not to mention protection screens set up between self service tills and at staffed checkouts. Overall, as supermarkets go an enjoyable shopping Experience. Staff spoken to on this trip came across helpful and friendly and well turned out thanks to the uniform.

Popped down late Sat afternoon, after discovering 15 x Krony 1664 275ml btl case was on "special offer". Hardly any entry queue, no quantity restrictions, very pleasant smiling checkout staff, (again) with no queue. Under the (current virus) circumstances, an excellent shopping experience throughout. How does that song go again, oh that's it " Every day I love you less and less". This was once a good store and I know there's a war on but this store takes the biscuit. Every time I go in there items I wish to buy go missing and when you ask staff about stock they seem to have even less idea than I do. I can understand things like hand sanitizer being out of stock but Bisto where's the sense in that?

This is where I do my main shopping. The staff are very friendly and always have a nice chat whilst serving you. There is a good range of food options for those that need them e.g gluten free, vegetarian, vegan etc. I haven't tried the cafe. The toilets are always clean and there are lockers to put your trolley and shopping away if you need to.

Wonderful store, as are most Sainsburys stores are, no complaints at all. However, I wish the same could be said for the Sainsburys cafés. We don't often use them, however we average about 3 times a year. Each and every time (no matter what store), the café is always short staffed, poorly stocked with produce, cakes or snacks, and generally a disappointment. With so many high streets full of cafe's, I'm surprised at the state of them in Sainsbury.

It's the biggest Sainsbury's for miles around. A pleasant shopping experience, in my opinion. Wide aisles, well-trained helpful staff. A broad product range including the Tu clothing range alongside all the food and drink and household stuff. Plenty of free parking at Castlepoint, and of course the attraction of all the other stores there.

They do have the normal counters (meat & fish, deli, pizza). Normally easy to find a parking space. It's also nearly always the cheapest place to buy fuel as they have a petrol station. Not sure why I've given it 4 instead of 5 stars, just 4 feels more right.

It's massive, it's like literally shopping in a warehouse! You can find everything you need in there from a butcher, fresh pizza and even a whole section of tvs. Staff are friendly and it's a good Sainsbury's in a well located area.

Sainsburys in castle point Bournemouth is a great place to shop. It is a brightly lit large shop with a well laid out display of merchandise. For a supermarket it has a fabulous selection of goods for sale. It has a welcome cafe to take a rest break as well as toilets.

I think the last time i visited this Sainsburys at Castlepoint was Boxing Day last year with my sister who had come to visit me..We decided to have lunch there too .we ordered the Xmas lunch and paid for it and headed for a table..10 mins later the chef came out and said sorry..we.re not doing any more Xmas lunches and then promptly took down the advert..most disappointing!! We then both chose the fish.chips and peas option which we.ve had there before..but this time the fish was quite alot smaller than before..it used to half fill the plate..we havent been back since and now go elsewhere..
