It's only a small store but there is plenty of items for you to buy especially if you were to buy picnic stuff and head to the beach which is only a 5-10minute walk from the store

Always very busy but clean & tidy nevertheless Shelves are constantly being re stocked so in "normal times" it's rare not to be able to find everything you need Through lockdown & with restrictions the stock has still been pretty good, the staff are always willing to check delivery dates etc for you. I find all the staff here great, the "day shift" is mainly the more mature ladies (like myself) & they are polite, friendly & knowledgeable, the "night shift" is a combination of ages & nationalities many of whom are students, they are very efficient, helpful & conscientious in their work. As a non meat eater I do think Tesco needs to improve & expand even more on it's vegetarian/vegan options as they do seem to have less choice than other retailers. The Tesco Plant Chef range is excellent quality & very good value

Throughout the lockdown every single member of staff has been a credit not only to Tesco but to this country. Singing along to music, asking how people's days are and how they are. When all the while they could have been excused for doing the opposite in the face of all the stress they've faced. Really 10 stars!! I really hope that after this pandemic you can look to give them all a raise because they really are the reason people choose to go there over the other surrounding shops! Your staff are so important to us!!

Good sized metro store in the city centre. Nice selection and good prices. They often have nice offers. Great to grab something to eat before heading to the beach. (only a 5 minute walk away)

Quite surprised how large this store is, given its 'Metro' status and location, which is conveniently in the middle of the town centre. Provides plenty of food, drink and household items, but the store can get busy, especially during the holiday periods. It's also a bit cluttered at times, which makes navigating aisles trickier than it need be.

Always enjoy coming to this store. Rowan on the self serve helped me and my 90yo grandma through the tills. He also replaced a bottle of pepsi that was leaking. More staff like him please at more tesco stores

Really appreciated the help of the extremely tall boy, I think his name was Ronan. He went out of his way to make my experience pleasant and even recommended that I switched from Cutters Choice to Drum baccy, I haven't looked back since! He did have a "bruh moment" when trying to use the tills, but I'm sure with a little more training he'll be proficient with the machines!

A higher version of Asda. Organised and proper labelled supermarket. Located at Bourne Ave, Bournemouth near Bournemouth Square. You can buy Meat, Fish, Chicken and other pulses. They are open every day from 7 am to 10 pm.I purchased Grapes for 2 pounds and Tea bags for 0.25 pounds. My total purchase was 10.15, and as per the bill, I got savings of 0.07 on mine spend. It has its own loyalty Clubcard. By not having their card I missed 10 Clubcard points. As mentioned on their bill their branded grocery basket matched against Asda, Morrisons and Sainsbury's. What I like about the feedback mechanism in the UK is that it can be linked to the bill and there is no chance you can give feedback without actually buying anything from there. No fake feedback. Overall good store. Asda or Tesco i do not find much difference.

I've just buyed one bag with crumbed ham 15 slices and one bag of butter brioche rolls 8 pieces both of them in the shop where written to be saled for 1.85 £ when I went to pay them on the till the girl sayed that the price Is 3.90£ I did not complain about this I payed the items but when you put someone on the till make shure that it's the right person . Really you have very good looking people working there but because I didn't complain and I gaved 1.90£ more now I'm walking on my way to home because these 1.90 more were my money for the bus . Thanks by the way to walk under the rain is not that bad ;) !!!

My first surprise came when I realised they employ someone to hand out bags at the self service check out (because you can't trust the general public with a plastic bag) my second surprise was when I realised the person employed to hand out the bags wasn't capable of the task in hand, God help us if we ever go to war.
