12.55 today again scanner's out of action charging. Only half scanner's in place other empty.queue to self service check out up to third Till position. Lucky took 10 mins wait for check out . Not self-service! Otherwise longer

How can you offer 4 or 5 stars for a supermarket? It's ok, it sells stuff. Tesco's always seems pricey. It doesn't matter how many posters or hangers shout 'bargain', or how many Price Match thingies they claim, it's all about truth, and the truth here is - some prices are really disgusting.

It's a massive Tesco extra that has the ground floor and then a 1st floor. The parking is free and there is always space due to the sheer size of the car park. It's open 24/7 and has a great range of food, electronic goods, clothing and houseware. It has a deli counter, fish mongers, fresh prepared instore pizza counter, a cafe and even a Holland and Barret. You can also expect lots of self-service checkouts including a self scan service while you shop. It's a good shop but for me personally the whey protein, protein bars and other supplements are very overpriced to reward them with anything above 3 stars... Some of these products are 2-4x higher in price than online... It's unforgivable, it's pure corporate greed.

Managed to grab some great bargains namely 8 power blades for my razor for around £20 very pleased also took a look at their TV's plus they were selling off their tins of Christmas sweets for £2 now that's a bargain. Also there is plenty of free parking and a Holland & barratt + a nice cafe for a warm beverage and tasty treat.

Nice spacious supermarket but my real reason for leaving 5 stars is the Pod-Point electric car charger they offer. I parked up, plugged in, did a large shop, loaded the boot and unplugged with considerably more charge. Just a great idea Tesco. I love it!

This a great shop with plenty to supply your needs. Clean store, friendly staff and always willing to help. Large electrical and clothing department on the first floor which includes a mobile phone store. Vast array of toys, back to school goods, home wear as well as usual Tesco goods. Vision express at the rear of the store. Clean toilets and a small customer lift. Ample free parking and petrol station outside. The store has a small café, which unfortunately often has issues. Other than that we'll worth a visit

Rob and Perry are really great managers....it's a completely different atmosphere when they are on duty....when they work, the staff seem a lot happier, it just feels so different when they are not on duty. Fantastic managers with clearly a great night team to support them...good choice, well done.:)

This is a nice large Tesco, by that I mean, not impersonal... large, but not absolutely massive. My only gripe is that there's no actual pharmacy for prescriptions etc, but they've got all the usual off-the-shelf medicines. Good range of clothing and electrics upstairs, and they are very good at all the seasonal products like Mother's Day, Easter and Christmas etc. A very good range of gluten free foods... Probably the best in Bournemouth.

Tesco's Castle Lane BOURNEMOUTH 4th February 2021 i am writing to say what a pleasure it was to go through Connells checkout today. I had a big shop and .being elderly he did everything he could to help me and make my visit pleasurable. He was very patient sociable and very kind I hope that next time i come to Tesco's I will have the pleasure of going through Connells till. again Connell is certainly a credit to Tesco's

Big store, lots of choice, reasonable prices. Get really fed up with having to continually check prices because bulk packs are more expensive than smaller packs and with them moving things. Some of the older staff talk a lot at the checkout making you wait and there are signs on the grass at the entrance of the store which make it really difficult for pedestrians to see if there is traffic coming.

Tills are well manned and stock levels are mostly good. Staff are more helpful than some of the newer competition and willing to do that little bit extra. The only downside is that the deals are generally not as good as other stores.

Went into the cafe for breakfast. The young man behind the counter was polite , charming and helpful. The young lady that brought my breakfast to my table was very pleasant. The cafe was clean and well stocked. 👏👏👏👏

It's Tesco, it's convenient, 24hr and big. Not particularly pleasurable to walk around, bland Tesco decor and they change the location of items regularly which makes it hard to find what you want. The layout isn't very logical. The self service tills always require staff assistance. Reasonable value for money and there are lots of service available, fuel, clothing, cafe, electricals, Timpson, health food shop.

Best Tesc for miles! This is a massive superstore on two floors, clothing, electronics and homeware upstairs, everything else downstairs. Has the opticians, online ordering, and cafe facilities. Really impressed with the store, always clean and staff are helpful and friendly.

Nightmare to shop there as constantly relocating stock to different aisles. Even their own staff are fed up with the policy. Lidl and Waitrose don't do this. 3 star is being generous.

Lovely large store split into two levels with carpark adjacent, that has a good range of clothing, an electrical dept, phone shop, Timpson shoe repairs, Holland & Barratt health store as well as a fantastic range of the usual food & drink items, newspapers & magazines, tobacco, etc, etc. I also found the staff I encountered whilst shopping to be very nice as well as helpful, especially the lady on the customer service desk who dealt with my return happily without making me feel uncomfortable.

Big store with many items. But they are constantly rearranging were items are so you feel like you are always hunting for what’s on your list even though you have bought it here before. Guess the management just wants you to waste your prescous time.
