Just a quick note. Used to be 3 hours parking. Not anymore. I've just had a £70.00 parking fine for 2.5 hrs. Costly mistake. Be aware. After receiving a reply from Asda I did take my bank statements in and because I had only spent £48.00 they said there was nothing they would do. Sorry. So, just for everyone to be aware, the parking is for 2 hrs.

Good place for shopping with diversified, fresh and affordable products. It is located on two levels, where escalators or an elevator will help you get up or down. The toilet for buyers is upstairs. Also, if you want to take a break, you can have a meal , tea or coffee inside the store.

visited here today the 14th june 22. its horrendous. most of disabled parking bays are blocked off and i cant walk from other parking spots to the store. visited cafe only serving tea coffee chocolate and the chocolate was barely warm. most disgusted with asda will be shopping at tesco in future give asda a miss is my advice. chocolate wasnt even warm enough to melt the choc powder in the paper cup and tasted mostly of water. think you need to improve a hell of a lot asda

It is really a good shop. There are many options. There's food, clothing and other household items. I just don't like how expensive it is.

At the moment to much renovation work going on. Stock is being moved from one Isle to another, you don't know where you are when you are shopping. This much disruption the store should close until finished

Shop here at least once a week. Most of the staff here are friendly and like to have a nice lil conversation. Especially the ones like the lady who wears all the pin badges and a guy called andrew. There are a few awkward ones, once I got asked for I.D for a pack of paracetamol lol I'm over the age of 30! And 'Max' I've yet to see him smile. I love looking in the clothes section, wish there was a bit more of a range though as quite often it can look bare , but it's okay. And there is no quibble refunds.

Nice store but struggling with covid measure enforcement. No one cares for the one way system, including the staff, and they should be the ones setting example. Social distancing is not great either and there is no one around from the staff to monitor this.

Reason for the review and also the 5 stars is one staff member. Mikey on tills! Just wow, what a lovely guy! Always got a smile on his face and takes his time to ask customers how their day has been etc. Always go to his check out. What a asset he is to the comoany! Customer service from him 10/10!

Great choice of products at a great price. 3 hours FREE parking and friendly staff. Customer toilets and cafe. No pharmacy. Lottery and appoint here too. Not 24 hours and no petrol station.

Staff are pleasant, however not the best stocked supermarket, particularly for home shopping. Normally the baby range is very male heavy, struggled to find an all-in-one coat for my girl when there were plenty for the boys. Cafe closes far too early, it is only open until early evening meaning dinner cannot be had there despite the store being open until 10.

They have a pizza counter where you can build your own pizza. As vegans we enjoy this option because we are able to have the pizza we want at an affordable price. Sometimes they give you vegan cheese or if not available you can just get your own vegan cheese in store and go and do it at home.

This is my local superstore, this is where I get most of my clothes, food and sometimes electronics from, there is a cafe with seating and a range of different toys for children, they sell movies, TV's, gaming consoles, nearly everything. This is probably one of my favourite places to go whenever I have a sweet tooth or in need of a new CD to listen to. Staff always ready to help and super clean, all the time. Amazing place.

A halfway decent supermarket which annoys me intensely, but I come back every month or two. It never has everything I want and sometimes seems to be like a massive jumble sale for mannerless Neanderthals. But it’s better than other major supermarkets in certain areas. More innovative products, better clothing options and they used to occasionally have some decent apples. I’d come more often if I didn’t have to enter through the cancerous smog from the smokers and vapers colony stationed permanently outside the main entrance.

Lovely store with everything you could possibly need for all your day to day living such as fresh & frozen produce, tinned items, confectionery, newspapers & magazines, tobacco, alcohol, household, toiletries, etc, etc. Large carpark adjacent with 3hrs free parking for Asda customers, plus upstairs on the escalator is the in- store cafe along with the clothing department selling a range of clothing for Ladies, Men and babies/children of all ages. Self serve check-outs as well as manned ones, some staff helpful which makes a big difference, overall good visit

Asda Bridgend a fantastic place to shop. It's convenient has friendly staff and price friendly. The George has good clothes and good in the cafe is good. The only grumble that i have is it should be a 24/7 business.

I was served on the checkout in Asda today by a young guy called Mikey, who was an absolute joy to speak to. His kindness, happiness and wit is completely infectious and the few people I've mentioned him to since said they all know who he is and are in real appreciation of his attitude and presence too. Definitely worth going back to see such a joyful person.

I have shopped at your Bridgend Store since the day it opened. Initially, I shopped mostly at Asda, but sometimes had to pop into Tesco for one or two items. The difference in attitudes of the staff at both these stores were a mile apart. If for any reason I have to shop at Tesco, which is very rare, it is like fire on my skin. If you need anything out of the ordinary or ask for help you are made to feel a nuisance. I cannot praise the staff at Bridgend Asda enough. I don't know if they have training in Customer care, if they do, it certainly works. Maybe they need to send their training policies over to Tesco. I had such a lovely and cheerful female member of staff help me this week and nothing was too much trouble. It is not only this week I have noticed how customer friendly the staff have been , even down to one of the trolley staff who helped me when I was in some trouble a few months ago. Well done the Manager and all his staff for making Asda Bridgend a good shopping experience.

Its a large store with a lot of products to choose from. There is a groud floor with groceries and upstairs is a selection of clothes and homewares. Staff are usually helpful. Unfortunately the cafe tends to run out of food quite early on.

This supermarket's greatest asset is possibly its carpark which allows for a two hour scoot around town without paying. It is in within easy walking distance of Bridgend town. Other than that, this is your basic Asda selling groceries, clothes, homewares and more. There is a cafe upstairs which is usually very popular and serves the usual fare. There are, of course, self checkouts as well as a click and collect collection point. It does seem to attract a particular type of customer, I've seen the term neanderthal used in another review and it's not far off the mark. Take care on the travelator because people are liable to stop without warning at the top and bottom, blocking an easy exit. The supermarket itself is easy to access by car and on foot with plenty of parking on average days, although you might have trouble finding a space in the run up to Christmas. If Asda is your sort of supermarket then you will love it here!

I do not know how Asda does it with pricing Lurpak butter 650grms £4.00 Pepsi £1 I can not find prices cheaper anywhere and that includes the cash and carry wholesalers. Store was clean staff only to happy to help you can't fault it.

They have employed an announcer who goes around the store with a microphone and every 30 seconds makes a public announcement as to what is on which aisle , and things such as " OOO look malteasers are on special offer , why not treat youeself ? " She is as irritating as heck.
