This Tescos has most food stuff. It's fruit and veg isn't always good. Prices here are rising a lot.

generally good service and well stocked, however work nights regular, its very frustrating that the store no longer opens 24hrs during the week, it was very handy to grab lunch or do some late night shopping on dinner breaks when the rush of the day is missing.

I visited the Bridgend Extra store on Monday 27 December 2021. Whilst most of the staff conformed to the guidance on mask wearing a lot wore their masks under their nose, under their chin and some failed to wear either mask or visor and were not displaying exemption badges. Throughout my visit there were regular announcements over the public address system advising customers of the need to wear masks. Is this us and them?

Just dropped into Tesco Extra in Bridgend to see if they could print off some Passport size photos from a photo I already on my iPhone. What a brilliant experience! The young Lass serving in the Photoshop could not have been more polite or more helpful. In five minutes I had 8 photos and was on my way. She even asked if I wanted them cut to size! Didn’t catch your name Young Lady, but you deserve to go far and I hope your Employer appreciates and values your efforts. Thank you!

Big tesco got everything you need. Helpful staff, kind and friendly. Very clean here but can get very busy. Covid social distancing is not maintained very well. A one way system would be more effective.

I love Tesco but my visit today was a little disappointing. Some of the containers of my Indian ready meal for 2 had leeked into the outer bag before I got it home. Whilst the remainder was very tasty and was enjoyed it made the experience very messy.

Can usually get my favourite foods here. Eg; Used to be called country ham now called lean ham but its better than even M/S ham.. Ladies serving told me it would be back in today so went back + bought the whole big pile.. Freezes well (put baking paper between each slice + if you can control yourself ((i can't ~ its too tasty)) it freezes well for weeks.

The staff are always friendly and when I went into the store today I was delighted to see the large range of gluten/wheat free food available. I have two daughters who are Coeliac and I am gluten intolerant. This actually made my day.

This is a 'just right' size Tesco, big enough to stock a good range but not too big that you're mentally exhausted after trying to navigate around the place (like Culverhouse Cross and Talbot Green). Some parts of the store are feeling a bit dated but the upstairs mezzanine is spacious and well laid out, although the decision to remove the Tech Team is one I struggle to comprehend as this puts more pressure on other staff from other areas. Still, a lot of staff here are well established and also very frustrating and always willing to help. Store is always well stocked although the quality of the fruit and veg is nowhere near as good as Lidl across the road. Nevertheless I've never had issues shopping here as far as choice and customer service goes. However, the car park is a nightmare. Whoever thought it was a good idea to put high growing edges right at the entrance/exit of the car parking zones needs a stern talking to. They completely obscure drivers visibility when approaching meaning cars have to creep out of the exits as you can't easily see cars approaching. They are right at the wrong eye level and in my opinion, should be just taken away completely as they serve no purpose whatsoever. Aside from this grumble (and it's a pretty big one, enough to make me want to swear and curse lol), this is one of the better Tesco stores so I'll put up with the dodgy hedges but do hope they're pulled down entirely soon!

Have always shopped here but aisles are getting more congested with employees with carts sometimes making it a pain in the neck if you've got a few other people with trolleys in the same aisle. People who park in the mother and children spots should get moved on its a regular thing at this stores car park and very inconsiderate especially when you've a mother with a young baby

One of the friendly Bakers went out of their way to provide me with want I wanted. Always a good stock on the shelves making it easy to shop. Staff are all friendly, helpful and polite.

I was unable to get an appointment for my doctor, so I popped into the pharmacy, to buy an over-the-counter remedy. I was offered a consultation with Alysha, who correctly diagnosed me, and was able to write me a prescription (for the correct treatment!) Well done Tesco! All pharmacies should have this service. Carpark can be madness. Why on earth do they block the first carpark lane. Queues back to roundabout most weekends causing chaos. Petrol is also not as cheap as you think check first rather than assume just because it's tescos it's cheap. Other than this good sized store with all you can expect.. Plus Krispy Kreme..!

The store has everything you require but it can be very busy and the traffic around this place can very often become a bottle neck with all other surrounding stores like Lidl, Next, Homebase, Halfords etc.

A good shopping experience. Staff are always polite and helpful and the store is very well laid out. 😊

Good location. Better variety and stock levels than the Tesco Extra on the west side of Cardiff. Staff also appear happier and better motivated.
