Thanks to the staff member who was very helpful today when I went in to get a suit for a family wedding. They made it so straightforward and saved me alot of time getting hold of one for a very reasonable price. Been a few times for different reasons and staff always helpful.

M&S provide good quality of goods and food for your choice. Its location is at the city centre and you can access it easily. However, the decoration is a little bit of old fashion and need to upgrade it in future. During the COVID-19 period, there are only a few customers in the shop, I wish that every customer will return soon when the pandemic is over.

Experts in the delivery of genuine Customer Care. This large branch is always welcoming, and the friendly staff in any of the departments, including those in the food hall, will always support the customer in whatever way they can with the minimum of fuss.

Very good marks and Spencer, full ranges of most things , including a very large food hall. The cafe on the 2nd floor is great always a great deal to choose from, the staff are always help and friendly if a little slow at time but it's very clean and well organised. The store is handy in the centre of brightion near the main bus centre at Churchill Square

A huge floor space upstairs and huge abomination to anything calling itself a reasonably desired selection. This dereliction of logic between cheap and good value quality clothing (for this money) has for too long masked the smaltzy razzmatazz that just doesn't cut it anymore. Downstairs food is OK quality if you are willing to pay more and M&S are too tight to lower the price much at closing time and I learned they don't even give it up to their employees anymore opting to bin it instead and rue the "sell-by-date curse -- destroyed environment to produce waste that ends up killing animals and fish in a dying ocean for people who will never buy or eat any of it....wow, what a life.

Pretty decent M&S with food hall but surprised they're selling hand gel at £9 a bottle. I think of M&S as pricey but fair but the gel seems like jumping on the band wagon and out of character. Strange.

Friendly staff, and it is a quite big store so you can find almost anything you need to find. It also has a reasonable price for the quality of goods. The store is well organised so it is quite easy to find what you want without wasting too much time.

I shop here regularly for a few of their products,the qualities pretty good. Shame the same can't be said about the self service checkouts. Paying by card is a major problem,the machines, (some),deny payment, incorrectly,so, one has to use another machine in the hope it operates correctly. All very time consuming,i hope the store can sort it out. Still worth a visit though,nice store & very helpful & pleasant staff.

The staff are very helpful and caring. I asked about a trifle in the food hall as I could not find them and the lovely lad described the full range and went and got me the sherry trifle I was looking for. Great service and feels safer in the food hall than supermarkets. Lots of ventilation, well marked out shopper zones for social distancing and friendly security is very helpful right now. I had never shopped for food at M&S before and was also pleasantly surprised by the food staples range being no more expensive than Morrisons.

Great for quality clothes for elderly ladies, big sizes available too. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a bit pricey for supermarket clothes, but the quality is good and you get what you paid for. On the ground floor there is a food hall with top quality food. They have a little coffee shop upstairs, where they serve sandwiches and basic food, good for a pit stop during shopping.

I'm a fair regular at this store and it's big and usually well stocked and has a huge range. The staff are, in the main, helpful and polite although the occasional one isn't so much. That can only be expected in a store this size though.

We had a coffee there. If you like a free very small biscuit with it you have to ask for one which I did when I was handed the coffee. I was promptly told off for not asking for them at the till. There is nothing to tell you that and does it really matter when they are so small and free? Not impressed.

Experienced extra good customer service at busy checkout in food hall, by Marilyn and also Lorraine. Was asked at start if I had any vouchers to use. Have often forgotten to present discount vouchers before, and it annoys me I was wasting money! Then was helped to find the newspapers. Extremely fair and efficient customer service. My wife bought a jumper for me for Christmas and a seam came apart after wearing it just once. But I didn't have time to take it back nor could we find the receipt. M&S checked the item code on the system and verified it instantly and have me cash back for it. Which I immediately used to buy my replacement. No having to mess with credit receipt, etc. Best customer service I've seen on the high street :)

Have always relied on Marks and Spencer for quality and choice. Which they are still able to provide. I'm not sure if this can be sustained with online shopping ....however touching and feeling the products is wonderful and the shop and staff are great. When it came to the check out (I'm a fan of vouchers and online voucher hunts) the staff will look online for you with their 'gadget' and because I have a sparks card got a massive discount. Well done M&S this is what is called Great customer service.

Lovely shop a favourite place of mine to go shopping in Brighton, the staff are very helpful and the social distances is all in place. The caffè is nice you get a nice cuppa tea and the jacket potatoes are very tasty, everything is all fresh.

Great for the middle aged man in me. It I'm feeling like time is passing me by a bit, I can come here and buy some slippers and a cardigan and everything feels alright. Then I realise I'm only 34 years old and should probably at least try and go to one of the more trendy high Street stores at least for a couple of years more. Having said that, the clothes in M&S are usually really high quality and comfortable. I'd be surprised if it stands the test of time as online shopping continues to take a strangle hold on the high Street

I've been coming in here since I was kid with my Mum and everyone from the lady on the self checkout (can't remember her name but she has short hair and hurt her arm and had a sling), to the Northern security guy, Zoe who works mornings and is SO lovely has been fabulous. Today when I was in there Gracie went above and beyond in terms of helping me out with personalising a thank you gift for someone - so very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble - just a fab shopping experience always, thank you!

I like the food hall here; you can get some really tasty meals! Great alcohol selection too. Oddly M&S have a policy of not playing music any more which is really strange and makes it feel like it's just about to close all the time, so I've taken a star off for that.

Great store. Fantastic food hall. Very high quality foods and surberb variety to pick from. Nice bakery as well. Clothing range is good. Fairly reasonable prices for clothing. Always the better stores to vist, especially for food. Friendly and helpful staff. Also a nice cafe on the top floor, ideal for lunch or a coffee with a snack.

I use the bureau de change on the top floor here, which gives me a good rate as an M&S cardholder. The rate is tolerable for non cardholders, and the service is quick and efficient. The fruit in the supermarket downstairs is generally of a good quality too, as are the fresh cookies.

I went in for some food groceries. I like to treat myself from time to time and normally come away with more than I intended. It's good for wine and I like the potato rosti cakes. Maybe I went in at the wrong time of the week but I was disappointed not to be able to get some pork loins and chicken thighs with skin. Probably a first for me to come away with less than I intended. I guess I'll get the chicken and pork from Sainsbury's instead.

I mostly come shopping here for the alcohol - don't judge me! They have a great selection, it's a pretty big store. But sadly the do run out of stock of quite a few things that I would buy at m&s, so I generally have to order online for pickup from store.

Pretty much like everything other marks ans spencers out there. It's got good but overpriced food. It's has come booze like beers, wines and the hard stuff. It's got cheese and samosas. Pretty much the standard things you expect. Most people that go there wear nice jackets and drive expensive cars. Sometimes there's a queue for the free coffee. If you want your typical marks and spencers then this is the place for you.

The best things about M+S are the staff and the food. The Sparks Card is a complete joke. Buy a pair of trousers and you're told you have 15% off quiche. My points total is, I guess average. I have 42,000 It's not that because I spend a lot.... it's because my offers are never for anything I want. I have contacted them but they have not been polite enough to reply. I no longer waste my time using Sparks. It's rubbish!

Still no clothes for big people.The design for fat women is exactly the same as thin women .It's not just about adding cms.Big women have curves! A sack is not appropriate. Also all shirts and t shirts especially need to be much longer in the bigger sizes which sell out immediately of cos. Look in the shop .How many old thin women shop in MnS .How many fat women?
