I’ve had multiple good experiences with Roots and Hoots and would highly recommend. Whether you’re motivated by plastic free shopping or the ability to buy things of higher quality and sometimes a lower price than traditional markets, Roots and Hoots have you covered. They’ve got a great selection of items (including things harder to find like quick cook polenta and malloreddus pasta) which are of very high quality. Delivery is always quick and easy. I had one experience with their customer service team and it was easily resolved. Couldn’t recommend more!

I tried Roots and Hoots last week as I liked their ethos. Honestly it felt like Christmas when my order arrived the next day. Beautifully packaged items, clearly labelled, no plastic in site and all packaging reusable. The stuff I'd ordered was excellent and not a bad price. Wish I'd taken a photo. Which is weird. I don't do that when the supermarket delivers. This is special. I'll definitely be going again.

Had a home delivery and was really impressed. I ordered at 9am on a Monday and they knocked on my door at 4pm the same day. Everything is well packaged, well labelled and I love the returnable packaging idea. I had some questions for the company and they answered my promptly. Roots and Hoots have a wide range of plastic free produce that can be ordered and delivered to your door. I was pleased to be able to book a delivery slot, despite being close to Christmas. I particularly liked the reusable cloth bags and tins that the groceries were packed in, and that the empty bags and containers were collected speedily, once I had finished using them.

I'm loving Roots & Hoots! I've been trying to minimise the plastic I bring into the house for some time and its HARD! This is the perfect solution. Bags of pasta and dried fruit is what normally gets be but R&H give you cotton draw strong bags or nice new tins for all the sundries. And its all reusable so you just send the packaging back with your box and get fresh next time! And because the business is new, all of the packaging is absolutely brand spanking new! If you're thinking some old cotton sock you've seen potatoes in in the past, forget it! It feels luxury. I'm back every month and loving it!
