A. H.I feel very lucky to be able to get my fruit and veg from Scarecrow's Pantry. The produce is always top quality, varied and fresh. I love being able to order both organic and seasonal straight to my door and after many months of deliveries I still get genuinely excited rummaging through my weekly box! The ordering process is so simple and and I always feel like i've got a very fair amount of food for my money. Customer service could not be more friendly or accommodating and it just feels like a lovely little community to be a part of. Thank you 🙏

Scarecrows pantry handles everything you worry about when trying to be more ethical with your shopping needs, choosing local as a priority to then more organic options if not available; for picking out your fruit & veg box (I highly recommend the in-season box). On my first delivery there was a slight issue due to new staff which was quickly resolved and more than fairly compensated. Unlike chains or supermarkets you get the feeling this business really cares about its customers and will go out of their way to fufill their end of the bargain.

Y.If you think 'organic seasonal UK produce' means tired, manky vegetables with little variety, think again, because Scarecrow's Pantry deliver (in a recyclable homemade wooden box) a variety of lovely fresh, tasty veg, plus offering optional staples such as milk, eggs, cheese, tinned and bottled goods and condiments, bread and even croissants!
I had a lovely fresh, creamy-coloured cauliflower in my last box that actually tasted of something, unlike the supermarket variety, and probably the biggest butterhead lettuce I have ever encountered. Great stuff: this is what food really tastes like. The short email newsletter has some nice recipes and news too. Very highly recommended!

M. E. D.We have been receiving Sussex veg boxes from Scarecrow's Pantry for a couple of months now and they are absolutely brilliant. The quality of the produce is fantastic, the service is very friendly and reliable and it is such good value that I don't know how they do it, especially considering that this is food grown in the immediate vicinity.
The fact that the produce rotates appeals to me to get more creative in the kitchen but also the flexibility to easily swap items is brilliant. We add or remove stuff weekly and it only takes a minute or two. All of the extras we have added have been of amazing quality too, especially the muesli which has plenty of good stuff in it!
Of all the companies I looked into doing this, Scarecrow's seem the best. Recommend 100%
