Love this place. Great selection of international goods, lots of vegan and accidentally vegan things. We go there often for dried fruit, nuts and oil. Pictures are from our Eurovision night recently, and includes many things from Alfu including stuffed vine leaves, fried garlic bread and red pepper paste. Also very good bakery and deli with olives, sundried tomatoes etc.

Amazing! Love this store, especially if you are looking for Middle Eastern & Asian spices and goods. Halal meat is available. Good pricing. I found many items which isn't easily available in Bristol for the Middle Eastern & Asian ingredients in Alfu.

Last week I visited Alfu and bought lot's of food stuff and meat . Their staff behavior is really good specially Ismail. Team of good people . They have all kind of food stuff but the basic thing which I like to visit Alfu is their staff "behaviour". Thank you Ismail "Meat section " and team. Stay more blessed.

Alfu international is a great store! The staff is very cheerful and they are also a great help. They have a good selection of spices, Eastern European, and Middle Eastern goods, a really promising veggie and meat counter as well. Also, you can find very funky kitchenware as well. Highly recommended place to do your shopping!

In term of Turkish food, Alfu is our fav. Some of the items are a bit pricey but nothing is cheap anymore. We also like the meat quality. Give it a try. Frozen boreks are great for breakfast and easy to cook.

Absolutely love Alfu, a fantastic range of products. Fresh fruit and vegetables and a butcher and fresh pastries. I can get products here I can't get anywhere else in Bristol (without going to London or Cyprus), such as trahanas and kapari.

The best international food store around! I've been to many international food stores but this one is amazing. Plenty of Turkish food (which is what I was after) but also plenty of other European and Asian foods! The Turkish bread is AMAZING. A brilliant selection of fresh fruit, veg and chilled products. Some of the frozen fish I have never seen before! I will be back to soon as possible as this shop is fantastic, and reasonably priced!

I really like this shop. It has really good and clean halal butcher with really good selection of meat. Quality of produce is really good. There is also large selection of spices, variety of frozen food and herbs are always fresh. Watermelon from this shop is also so sweet and tasty. Staff is amazing, very child friendly place. It is always a pleasure to visit this store!

Honestly, I could not believe how clean and organised everything was! Very well labelled and all the fruit and veg was lovely and fresh, most without plastic packaging- which again is fantastic from an enviroment conscious point of view. A lovely gentleman came over to serve me once he has spotted that there was more than one person queuing to pay and he was really professional and friendly. I will 100% return and make this my first choice for a grocery store.

Such a great array products. lovely helpful staff. Stellar quality on everything I have tried so far. I can wholeheartedly recommend their böregi on the deli counter! Heads up to parents - they offer your kids lollipops at the till. If you don’t want that you need lightening fast reactions! Alfu I would love it even more (if only 6 stars was an option) if you ask your lovely staff to ask parents first if that is ok 😘😘😘😘

I have been going to this shop since it opened. It's very clean. Stocks a great deal of the foods that I love both Turkish and Indian. The thing that I love the most. Is the outstanding service by all the young ladies. They go out of their way to be helpful. I can't speak highly enough of them. Great products great prices very clean and outstanding service.

A great addition to the Fishponds high street. Not quite as good as the International but better located. Could be improved with more variety (eg. How many varieties of olives do you need???) and better English shelf labelling but now one of my main shopping destinations.

This is an international food store with a wide variety of food items including fresh meats, poultry, bakery, organic foods, fresh vegetables...and even kitchen ware. The store is extremely clean and very organised with a wide space between its display rows making it easy to shop if you have a disability or accompanying a toddler. It has a large variety of products, mainly Middle Eastern foods. Its location is right across Lidl in Fishponds on the main street, accessible by a good number of public transport buses. It has a parking area at the back of the store. The vast majority of its imports seems to be high quality Turkish products. Its fresh meats are of high quality. I liked their care about hygiene and the way they are presenting the different kinds of fresh and processed meats.

Great supermarket. Has lots of variety including an in-house butcher. Even has a fresh baklawa stall (my fave). It also has a selection of organic options and ranges for vegans and vegetarians, along with a large range of teas. Staff are always friendly and serve with a smile. Prices aren't Lidl cheap but they are very reasonable, and the quality is great. Will recommend.
