Very moderately priced selection of Asian foods. I could find everything I needed for my pantry, and their fresh food is also very good - a big Chinese lettuce costed me £4 and lasted me a week! The staff are friendly and helpful.

Great selection! I got a huge bag of dried mushrooms that I use when I make ramen and they are so good. The freshly made steamed buns are delicious too, always get one when I'm shopping here. The people that work there are friendly and respectful. Would definitely recommend!

I always go here and go out my way to go here too. The service is always so helpful and friendly. Its not full of all the gimmicky stuff but does have a few which is great. Great ingredients and a range of items. There is also bubble tea, buns and bakery items! Also the minimum card payment is £5 which is so great because everywhere is £10 minimum.

Knowing it is a small business, it has all the necessities of Chinese food enthusiast. Lacking all round friendly staff, which does not mean they are unfriendly just maybe sometimes uncomfortable with non Chinese customers. Recommended for quick replenishment of your Lao ganma or noodles. Notable mention they sometimes stock Korean. Oysters. Not expensive but good and healthy.

Great choice of Oriental foods and general household/kitchen goods.
I know that with a student hall literally less than 100m away there is a lot of customers for this place. And of course the actual restaurant/cafe next door is a good place to relax and get fed too.

Quirky and full of character! When I visited, I had a hacking cough and the person serving recomended some special things that looked like wooden balls and strands of plants that I should drink, after brewing up into a tea. It worked well to soothe my cough, even though the taste wasn't really my cup of tea.
