I am disabled and find shopping quite difficult.
The man who collects the trolleys is most helpful, he is friendly and polite. It iso nice to be given some help and treated with respect.

Absolutely lovely stopping point near the airport. Good staff, loads of choice, clean toilets

Lovely shop with a lot of variety of fresh & frozen produce, household goods. Open late Sundays. Friendly staff.

Excellent service from the gentleman on the Night Shift (early hours Saturday 10th sept)

Don't go often As not nearby, but if passing always stop for petrol and shopping. Well presented store well stocked with fresh food Fruit, Veg, flowers, meat products and fresh bread from local bakery. Covid safeguards in store and very friendly helpful staff.

Pulled in to get some petrol on the way back from Wells - needed to get a drink and was expecting the usual tired, expensive and uninspiring shop attached to a petrol station.
What a pleasant surprise!
The shop is a delight - huge variety of products and fresh produce, including lots of unusual, artisan and locally sourced products. It's like a (nicer) Waitrose - apologies in advance to the proprietor if he doesn't appreciate the comparison :-)
Shop is much bigger than you would expect and even includes a Subway at the far end - you could browse for ages....and really sensible prices and lots of special offers. I'd love a village shop like this!!
AND the bonus of spotlessly clean loos too
If you're passing or on the way to the airport pop in - you wont regret it

The petrol station/ Supermarket. A nice little convenient shop for locals and drive by trade. They have a Subway shop for wraps, baguette and salads. Budgens do their own range of takeaway food and Costa coffee to go. You could probably do a weekly shop here for groceries, but it'll probably cost a bit more. They do have shopping deals and you can collect points on a signature card, these are turn in to money you can spend in the participants of the Signature card. If you have a Signature card, you can buy a hot drink and a cookie or do-nut for 60p. They do have quite alot of parking, but it can get busy at times. It doesn't help 2hen you get inconsiderate drivers and parking on double yellows at the entrance to Budgens. Management do not seem to enforce or advise the inconsiderate. They have toilets here, male, female and disabled access toilets. If this review was helpful, please like.

First came here about 4 years ago, and loved it. Due to an enforced diversion from the motorway I found it again, and it has gotten better. The forecourt is busy, fuel is at good prices and there is adequate car parking to the side and rear.
The store is lovely, kind of MSA meets a local store....but better. Lots of choices of things to buy, sadly I had to get a wriggle on so couldnt explore properly. There is an attached Subway with all of its "wham, bam, thank you Ma'am food" and a hairdressers.
I have often said that a business is built on its staff, and the staff I had dealings with were wonderful, friendly, obliging and knowledgable. Definitely a worthy 5*

Very helpful staff, open 24x7. Great range of food and some lovely local produce. Free cashpoint, and a car wash. Lots of parking spaces. Can get busy at bank holidays, though the A38 is best avoided generally at those times.

Just Great, everything you need and 24/7h

It's a continuously open public service providing quality fuel (reasonably priced) plus a wide range of food and home goods. Yes you won't have a choice of many brands for each type of item, but you are very likely to find something adequate for your needs.

I've always found this store to be good. Nice friendly and usually helpful staff. It stocks most of what I need and is quite easy to find.
It would be a 5 star review, however I have encountered a few issues, most notably the card machines like to regularly black out and on more than one occasion I've been blocked in by delivery HGV's.

Work and shop here. Ridiculously friendly environment and lovely staff who really care. Not a conglomerate that cares if your a penny or two short, and go a mile and a half for customers.
Would highly reccomend to anyone. Products inside are both great value for money and great variety. They source from a large amount of local businesses like thatchers, Jon thorners, cooks, butcomes, pullins and the list goes on.

For a small village this shop has everything, and is open 24 hours. The petrol is reasonable priced plus a carwash, and a cash point, couldn't wish for more.

The staff at this shop are truly amazing , helpful, cheerful and knowledgable about the products on sale. It can be really busy at times but they always have enough staff to make sure that people are not waiting too long. Great corner shop! Thanks for all your help in 2017.

I only shop here if I'm desperate as it's quite expensive

Nice and friendly even at late hours. It is a reasonable thing that they sell food which is near the estimated „use before- date“ for a reduced price- like that, less food gets wasted

Good shop. But be prepared for the car park experience. Low wit drivers abound

Fuel and good range of food. Expanding at the moment to make food retailing even better. A Budgens franchise.
