I love this place, they have an amazing selection of produce, every time I go here I find something new I want to try! Great selection of hard to get items, our go to shop for Sake. They also stock plum wine, midori etc. They have a stock of chilled and frozen foods as well as fresh fruit and veg not usually found in the supermarkets. Like sushi.... Great they have everything you need from sushi rice to wasabi and sesame seeds. As for prices, these are all imported from the far East foods in small quantities so are always going to be more than UK stuff but it's not ridiculous as can be seen by the constant queue of people outside.

I would live here if I could! A tremendous selection of amazing Korean & Japanese food (sushi, gyoza, ramen, vegetables, rice, flours, kimchi, etc) at fantastic prices and amazing shop staff who were friendly and so very helpful. I am glad I found this Cardiff jewel, they have everything that we love and had more difficulty getting shipped to us, but now a treasure house of Korean & Japanese Culinary Delights is close by, so I will be there often!

One of my favourite shops in Cardiff. They have both Korean and Japanese products, fair prices and the staff are very helpful and polite. The manager is friendly and you can ask him anything. They also take Covid regulations seriously.

Staff are friendly & helpful. Bewildering array of goods, but staff always happy to advise. Buying basic Asian sauces and condiments here is much more cost effective than a regular supermarket. (Plus the quality is better.) My advice is don't feel shy, have a good luck around, ask for advice and don't overlook the freezer section.

Lovely store, everything is clearly labelled in English so it's easy to understand if you don't read Korean or Japanese. Huge selection from sauces, snacks, noodles, meat and vegetables. Everything is well priced. There is a £5 minimum on card so if you're just popping in for snacks be aware.

Very helpful and friendly staff, good selection and prices. I've been missing kimchi a lot since leaving Korea. Essentials for cooking here like various oils and sauce packets as well as a fresh selection and frozen goods. Nice little alcohol cave at the back too. To further brighten my day we were given a 10% discount for next time and entry into a raffle! Excellent store, frequent please.

Went there to get mochi for my daughter. They had lots of variety an different flavours but abit on the pircey side £6.50 for a pack of 6 but still my daughter was very happy.

This shop has a lot of stock including a large frozen selection. There's a lot of options of frozen dumplings, kimchi, seasonings, noodles and sweets. They even had frozen ready made takoyaki balls last time I went! The staff are friendly too.

I love this shop! It's by far the best place in Cardiff to get big bags of short grain rice, rice seasoning, real kewpie mayonnaise, curry roux or bulldog sauce. Prices might look a little expensive, but remember that a lot is imported, so it's much cheaper than many other places!

Went here today after reading other reviews and wanting to expand my cooking knowledge and experiment with oriental cooking. Absolutely astonished at the sheer stock and produce they have. Mr Park (the owner) is incredibly friendly and always helps to recommend different snacks for us to try out, as well as kindly explaining how to prepare some things as the instructions are all in Korean and my family are Chinese. For a store which sells a lot of imported snacks and goods, the prices are quite reasonable. I also like how they will update the snacks every couple of months so you’ll always have something new to try.

Good selection of essentials, friendly staff. The layout is a bit cramped, though, and the prices are as you would expect for imported goods. I like to stock up on Japanese rice, dashi, curry roux and mirin here. They also have a selection of snacks, seasonings, sauces and booze.
