L. B.I'm not sure how to rate the stars out of five. I and my son were assaulted by a member of the security staff. This can about after my son put his empty bottle of juice in the wrong recycling bin in the store. Like teenagers do, he moaned about having to correct his error. Regardless there was no reason for a 6ft 3in security guard who weighed at least 17st literally punching a teenager that weighs 9st wet. Thankfully the store manager, Liz was her name, was on hand to deal with things. I have nothing bad to say with regards to the way the staff and store are, it's and easy five stars if the oven zealous security guard. Police came and took everyone's details so that after reviewing the CCTV they can do what needs to be done. I just don't understand why that guy acted like that towards a regular customer.

l. m.When a small queue started at the checkout releif was asked for and came immediately. Everything I wanted to purchase was on the shelves excellent service

May not have everything in the world could be found elsewhere but for what it is it's good.

J. I.Manager and Staff at this city centre branch are welcoming and helpful when called upon. Today I had misplaced my mask and they opened a new box of disposable masks for me to carry on safely with my shopping. The lady at the till very helpful as I had a voucher and needed assistance. The store is clean and well stocked. I found everything I needed besides some offers.

I have now found another brand that I can buy elsewhere and probably tastes better then quorn
R. D.Ok small supermarket. Only popped in for snack, layout at bit chaotic/cramped, but it is only small.
F. T.I like Sainsburys. The staff are good and that's a sign of a well run establishment. Would like to see a couple of storeys as the shop is a bit limited in choice ...frozen etc. Love the fact that the till is always manned & not too busy unlike Morrisons where you have a mere sprinkling of tills manned....uncannily unmanned cheese counters and a restaurant so poorly manned I'm surprised you're not asked to wash the dishes.

T.Store always appears clean and has an easy-to-follow one-way system. However, it can get overcrowded and people tend to give up following the one-way system at times. I've normally visited on weekday evenings and often find the fridge produce shelves lacking and at times almost empty. Convenient location and all produce reasonably priced with a mixed range available.

R. G.Layout hasn't changed in years, you can do a decent shop here on a daily basis. However, I tear my hair off at the fact that staff do not offer to help pack your bags. Instead, they stand and wait for you to hand over your Necter card, then make payment, then put your cards back safely, then pack your bags and accept your receipt. Not too much to ask but Sainsbury's maintains that it's not policy to assist with packing.

D. S.Has the majority of the stuff you need from basic goods and groceries to a quick snack on a lunch break and is conveniently in the city centre next to the Captiol shopping centre.
C. K.Decent selection of food but wouldn't go in there for anything specific that isn't of Sainsburys own or of a different brand. And also Customer Service isn't great. Lots of staff members there but no one wants to seem to help you at all and more get in the way.

N. M.A Fine Place For A Quick Shop
Relatively smooth service and an array of Self Service stations are available. A great selection of good quality products, easy navigation and the shopping experience most fast indeed.
S. I.Be sure to check up online for deals/sale and get going soon. Coz when I went in the evening, all the items on sale were cleaned out. I found passata sauce at sainsbury's to be one of the cheapest @40p.
J. D.Typical supermarket but is open till five on a sunday so gives you an extra hr to pick up items is you are commuting to cardiff for work and need some extra items. Very self service focussed though. Feels like they are putting machines before employing staff.
P. M.Comfortable shopping environment. They have the usual assortment of essentials for a small shop and it is easy to get around the store. Not seen a big queue here and have always managed to get in and out in quick time.
J. T.The first supermarket that you pass traveling into the city centre from my end of Cardiff. As such I’ll often pop into to grab stuff while passing, and can’t be bothered to use the Tesco that’s a little further on. Not the largest of Sainsbury’s, but still decently stocked, so not recommended for a big shop (as the till area isn’t really set up to allow this) but most things can be found here.

J. G.Like a lot of small Sainsbury's, this branch is like a lot of small Sainsbury's. It's a convenient place to get groceries if you happen to be in Cardiff city centre. If you really like Sainsbury's then you will like this one. It's as Sainsbury's as they come. Otherwise, meh.

It's a standard sainsbury's. Not a massive one so don't get excited. It's situated at the bottom of the main shopping street of Cardiff so it's large as you'd expect for a city centre sainsbury's.
I come here for the epic salad bar when I'm on break.
