S. T.The gangs around lurking about and particularly the woods /field behind this store is the main problem and it's only a matter of time before something happens to someone. Does not feel safe at all. We go to Asda in Pontprennau instead.
F. D.Spoke to a lovely member of staff a gentleman Dave M - so so helpful regarding the wines and spirits .
Also he was lovely helping an older gentleman.

A. H.I'm pretty sure this shop is older than I am and very little has changed since I was a baby. The shop is a good size and the staff are always helpful, never had a problem with them or finding what I need. Prices can be hit or miss, but that's not always down to them.
But they need to stop people from leaving dogs alone outside, I was once bitten and bled a lot by a dog sat alone outside.
There is also always kids hanging around outside, I understand that they can't stop them but they need to try to discourage it. My mam nearly hit one with her car not too long ago who was riding wildly around the dark car park with his friends on bikes.
P. R.Not the place to buy if you're a budding Ramsey however plenty of staples with a department for clothing and housewares as well.

Never really busy and you are well segregated and plenty of sanitising stations.
Good selection and get the bits our local Tescos does not stock.
Plenty of parking as well.

Loads of parking , Only downside is the petrol forecourt...queuing to get in and queuing to get out....bit of a bottleneck

A. A.I don't leave many positive reviews, usually I will only do so to warn others of bad practice but today is different. Upon leaving the store to walk home I'd approximately travelled 100 metres so I was clearly off their property after buying my shopping. Then the top of the bag ripped and the entire contents fell out, amongst the items we're 4 cans of Guinness of which 1 had burst, covering my ruined pizza and soaked tea bags so I reluctantly took it back to the store to see if they could do something but not expecting much, the first lady rightly phoned the manager as she was unsure and then the manager came down and said I could replace the ruined items. Top show tesco! Local community services with excellent staff. Ten outta ten!

u. s.Its handy get your basic essentials... not the best of environments espeically late as usually see groups of young teenagers huddled near the door or riding through the car park on their bikes.
There is a pharmacy opposite so its handy to do a little shop while you wait to pick up your prescription.
M. H.There's always a good atmosphere in St Mellons Tesco when I pay them a visit. From the trolley man to the security man they always have time to help you if need be. It's my local supermarket and at Christmas time when the staff wear festive hats it's fun to shop there.
J. U.I have have an endearing fondness for this shop have worked nearby. The neighbourhood at times can be a bit dodgy at times. Yes the local women go shopping at 3pm in pyjamas and slippers but the shop itself is clean, well run and maintained. It is also the only the only shop I've ever seen where the security guard, South American bloke, had the guts to tackle a woman with feral kids running amok.

H. N.Handy place to shop, not the biggest store but not the smallest either. The appearance isn't the best but overall you can usually get what you're looking for. It's a shame that people hanging around outside can be a bit intimidating at times.

What makes me mad is the car park
Outside the store it is a free for all you get young people parking in disabled parking places and people parking in parent and child parking places without any children with them these are mostly young lazy people who don't like to walk from other parking places. I think tesco should man up and send them away to places thy should use and leave disabled parking to the people with the disabled badges
And the same for child parent parking places

J. C.All the employees are very helpful but Selvin is a star. He got me out of a very difficult situation the other day, that had nothing to do with his job and didn't have to do.

T. s.It's about time they made a new one here they supposed to be the biggest but it looks so 1980's the service ain't that good either u might get one or two good service but they need proper training in customer service that's why I much prefer ASDA
