Most of the staff are ok and I have no problem with that they can be very kind and helpful especially if you're disabled But unfortunately I can only give it three stars because they never stock up enough unless the UK doesn't have enough food

They have added self checkouts, which I think is so helpful to make the line go by faster as those who are using card can easily use the self checkout. Very happy with this new addition though I haven't been to this co-op in awhile so this may have been implemented some time ago.

A very handy store for popping out to if you need something and can't be bothered getting in your car and going out to one of the superstores. It stocks all the basics alongside quite a range of other products. I particularly like their bread and also their meal deals, which although a slightly more than Tesco their sandwiches are by far the better.

A brilliant shop with more items on shelf than the local tesco express. But, and I was always told by my old english teacher, " No sentences should ever begin with but", but...its the amazing staff that makes the local Co-Op...fantastic bunch, pop in and then I can say" I told you so"...Brill!

Serves its purpose, just get stocking deliveries back to standard. There is no excuse now......empty shelves are unacceptable now obviously!!!!!!!

Review accurate as of 2013 - it may have changed since (and, actually, I had a friend visit in February looking for some basic items for breakfast, claimed the Co-op didn't have them and ended up walking down to the Greenstead Road Tesco!). Anyway, as of 2013: Generally a good range of products. Customer service varies from excellent to useless. Seems very disorganised with little communication between staff suggestive of failure at managerial level. Some items not priced 'We did price them, but the kids take the price labels off' (How about putting them back?) and very often priced inaccurately. Main entrance door shuts 15 minutes before closing time so you have to enter through the exit. Better value and range than Tesco Express, but all a bit chaotic. Adds character to the Greenstead area, but not well loved by local people.
