C. M.This is a very good supermarket with a plentiful and varied range of products. Medium price range. Has a small outside area with plants, compost and some gardening tools.would advise wearing a mask as it can be busy and always difficult to stay well away from people.
J.From the Cafe to the counter Morrisons is the full experience. Defiantly not the cheapest supermarket on comparison for a branded 'big shop' but they have probably one of the best home brand ranges. Staff are very helpful and there is rarely a long wait at the queues
J. M.Large well laid out store in Derby. Cafe very welcoming and clean. Easy to order our meals and didn't have to wait long for it to be brought to our table. Good food at a fair price.
H. R.Lots of good value offers and a healthy array of plants, but whenever we go the Isles always seem to blocked with pallets of boxes and staff shifting stuff around the store. Nearly got bashed into 3 times.
T. O. (.Nice breakfast and kids eats free all day at Morrisons. Too long waiting time on tills however you can order from the Morrisons app or online from the screens in the café. I think 3 staff serving the food one on the till. We get served very quick cos ordered from the screen. Sorry no photo this time.
M. S.Standards of fruit and veg have slipped massively. Which is a shame as I shopped there for the good selection. Just found fruit fly larvae in my raspberries and tomatoes moudly. Despite both being purchased and refrigerated just a day ago, with long use by fates. Contacted via facebook chat and waiting for a response.

Staff members maybe not the most friendly but average, I have seen worse. Despite everything I would like to prise all of their staff members as they are working harder than usual due this pandemic.

Z. S.I went to pick customer from Derby morrisons early morning at 0400 hours. Car park was huge and neat and clean Trolleys were stacked in proper trolley stand. Car park lighting were on.

J. C.We were so pleased to visit Morris ons.... There veg and fruit displays were very fresh and appealing... We ended up doing 99%of our Christmas shop including the meat for Christmas. Which I've frozen. The choices were plentiful.. We will definitely shop there more often. And the staff very helpful.

The cafe do inexpensive meals and the staff are very friendly. The only downside to the cafe is UHT milk 🤢🤮 ruined a perfectly good cup of tea....please give us real FRESH milk like you used to do! 🙏🙏🐄

I have shopped at Aldi the last seven weeks at an average cost of £75 my bill in Morrisons today was £195 😵💫🤯😱
Sorry Morrisons but lm going to stay with Aldi from now on where the pounds stay in my pocket and not your tills!!!

M. D.I was already skating on thin ice here. The boss wanted a pork farms pork pie and I've only told him a dozen times that Morrisons don't stock them, so it hasn't quite trickled in to his brain yet. I always get a Morrison's Melton Mowbray job instead, after being reckless enough to chance it once and the gamble paying off. Trying to explain that they don't stock Pork Farms and the alternative he has no memory of me purchasing is out of stock must have seem utterly ridiculous to him. I am extremely lucky to still be in employment. Very fortunate that my boss's understanding and compassion was enough to defeat the utter failings of Morrisons.

And the shops in the neighbouring Metior centre are great too.
But they need extra people in the cafe.,.lots of tables covered in the detritus of previous customers
W. T.This Morrisons has a very good hot food stand serving up a wide selection of chicken. I went for the firecracker hot wings and chips, for £3 I was not disappointed.
Staff were also friendly and helpful.
I. R.Really like the selection of fresh foods available which I buy for lunch dinner at work. Clean and tidy store and we'll stocked when I've shopped in-store.
Disappointed in the cafe though, the table was sticky only 5 tables in use and lots empty, I ordered a burger and chips and a soft drink. Burger was nice and tasty, whilst the chips were lukewarm at best. Disappointing as this is my one and only "hot" meal of the day.
I appreciate this may be a one off however it puts me off eating again if this is what happens when it's not busy.

A. H.Large car park so plenty of parking spaces. Disabled parking bays near the door. Cash machines are available outside with 24hr access. Fresh fish counter, Bakery, hot food counter and a Deli counter. Help desk is available. Good selection of items. Well stocked wine and beer aisle. Sells a range of Children's clothes. Store is open again with no restrictions in place.

Service was fast we were seated first. Then went and selected our food, childrens meals are free after 4pm if buying an adult meal..so polite friendly staff.. Would recommend highly..
E.I give this supermarket 4 stars purely on the basis of staff shortage.
It is very frustrating when you are in a rush and there is no one on the fish counter to serve you, and you have to chase around to find a shop assistant to call someone to the counter! I don't understand why the fish counter isn't staffed at all times given the popularity of this. This is not a criticism of the staff on this counter as they work very hard, it is of the fact that the place seems to be short staffed and this has been an ongoing issue prior to C19.
That aside, the staff at this Morrison are lovely. The guy on the fish counter with dark hair is always friendly and helpful. He is such a hard worker.
The checkout assistants are always helpful. There are some really lovely people that work on the tills that are super friendly and chatty, which is nice.
Overall this is a well stocked Morrison's with some hard working staff members. I hope that they have been rewarded for all of their hard work during the pandemic!
Hopefully, this store will employ more staff, then it will get 5 stars!

Always happy with the service, but I'm always especially pleased with the service when served by Angie, Kelsey or Marie they are lovely people and clearly have a excellent customer service skills! D. F.Besides just being a regular supermarket they have loads of counters with dedicated staff, the only supermarket I’ve personally visited that has this. Some supermarkets maybe have a deli counter. This place has a deli counter, butcher, cheese counter, salad bar, bakery, cafe, hot food to go, and make pizzas from fresh to cook at home. Staff are dead helpful too.

The self service tills were atrocious not registering produce 5 or 6 times during the checking out meaning the process was traumatic while we waited for the one person available to reset things

G. F.Besides the expected fact that it is just like any other supermarket, it sells some garden stuff. Staff is fantastic. Massive respect to the amazon packers and grumpy stackers. They always look so dedicated to the cause and have that unshakeable stare for their next objective. The til staff too, can't fault them. Super friendly, super chill, can be chatty, or quiet, what an eclectic mix of characters. Can't praise them enough. Give them all a raise.

The staff are not always helpful though and one I encountered was downright rude ! Are they supposed to cash up on the tobacco counter before closing time and refuse to serve customers? They certainly did when I was there.

I found the lay out of the store alittle all over the place 🛒🤯
And not a great deal in the chillers section from dairy products to fresh meat 🍖 available.
I used the self pay checkout💳💵 which I don't normally I find them flustering 🤯 ( due to the light coming on for assistance with every other item 🤦)
I'm pleased to say it went well apart from no barcode on my cucumber 🥒 I was literally shouting 📢 to the assistant waving my cucumber 🥒 in the air 🤣it's got no barcode! Oh you don't need a bar code it's on the other screen . 🤦🤣
All in all it was ok. The chap (assistant) who put my cucumber 🥒 through 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 customer service.

C.Cafe = Good value, friendly ladies on the till but lacks management and direction. Often breakfast luke warm and often no stock of various items. If after a cheap breakfast good option but if can afford/ have time go elsewhere.

J. S.Asda , Sainsburys , Tesco and Morrisons Long ago, the four Supermarkets lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when Tesco's attacked , only Morrisons , master of all four of the shopping elements could stop them .

I was disappointed how it has gone bad. Fruit quality was really bad.
Rotten fruit packed such a way in punnet you can't see.
Also not compitively priced either.

m.Lovely and airy in store. Great range of products and usually a very good customer service. Some checkout staff can be a bit whingy at times but they're otherwise pretty friendly. With the lockdown, there is no one way system in place which makes finding what you want easier, but some aisles get crowded. They've got evenly spaced open checkouts which helps social distancing.

Even admire Morrisons employing the older generation they still have a big part to play and it's good when companies still allow the old people to carry on working good on you Morrisons.
O. C.Beyond the best supermarket for vegetarian/vegan food. There is so much choice. Also the bakery is lovely and I love how they have individual stalls to get what food you need. The cafe is a nice touch too. Always nice to go for something to eat when going to see a film at the odeon. Or after food shopping.

As long as morrisons keep on top of their staff and just remind them that it's the customers that pay their wages and a hello is always welcome to anyone.. We will all get through this glitch in history.. As for some of the other supermarkets they should probably remind some of their staff to be less miserable.. Stay safe everyone..
p. k.Visited the Derby store today and was disappointed to see the queue system for the tills had been removed. I preferred the one queue system as I believe it is much easier to keep 2 metres distance and stopped bumping into people who were queuing for individual tills. A step backwards I’m afraid and one that in my opinion is not as safe. Conversations had with a couple of members of staff only highlighted that I’m not on my own. Please managers bring back the one queue system....

It's showing its age a bit though, outside especially.

The staff are friendly and keen to help. Toilets areas were clean.
Outside there was a good selection of bedding plants/trees. There's plenty of free parking, recycling bins and a fuel station.

The cafe is a let down, it took 25mins for us to get our bacon cob and a slice of toast! plus we had to ask for knives,forks as none were available. More staff is needed to keep up with demand and cut down the waiting time. Will go again despite these minor issues.

s. c.Always good to shop at Morrison's. The salad area was well stocked and presented beautiful which I commented on to the guy working on the department. One comment I appreciate having brown paper bags but they are flimsy. I used them for the fruit and salad but two bags tore immediately then another bag tore at checkout.

C. H.Morrison's is a good place to shop with well stocked shelves etc but since covid-19 once you have entered the store there is no organisation at all. Staff don't adhere to the social distancing rules and People just walk around in all different directions, making social distancing at times not possible. I personally think there should be a one way system put in place.

Maybe in this case, the lady on crowd control should have seen the situation and done more than comiserate with us after our trek

D. H.I've been here today for the first time. It's a very large Morrisons capable easily for a weeks shop with plenty of space in the aisles for trolley's. Staff are helpful and friendly and due to the reasonable prices of goods I would use the shop again, definitely. The coffee and food area is also large, clean and tidy, but my only gripe is that they do not have a " bottomless coffee" as they do in the Ilkeston branch. Large car park and petrol station also available

H. J. L.As Supermarkets go, this one had to be worth top marks. It's not the biggest in the area but the choice is on a par with the big boys. Where it wins, is it seems to be more personal. Difficult to explain, but maybe it's because it isn't so large.
Veg & bakery stand out as being very good.
Parking is also very easy in their own car park, and there is a fuel station there too.

J. N. C.I use the shop several time a month. I seem to get lost looking for some item. That I go back to the other one in Ilkeston, where I know where most items are.
L. S.I'm have a broken hip and because of it I really struggle to get around. They staff are really good towards me and patient with me. The guy who's on secriuty not sure of his name is really helpfull and pollute. I'd like to thank him but i have no name for him. Anyways pass my thank you on for me. He is the guy who directs you to the tills.

J.I've never been a fan of Morrisons since they took over from Safeway. I only popped in for a few things on my way back into town.
The fruit and veg doesn't last very long. I've carrots in my fridge I bought from Sainsbury's 2 months ago and they are still fine. Tried Morrisons and everything went mouldy within a week.
I'd recommend just using it for non perishables and meat - the meat was excellent.

S. H.Morrisons is always fine in so far as it's a supermarket, it usually has what I want and at competitive prices. However if like me, you pop in late at night on your way home, don't expect Waitrose class service. Aisles will be blocked by re-stocking trollies and if you get in the way don't expect service with a smile!
That said, I have a choice and I'm glad to be able to nip in and get stuff late at night.

M. M.Only visited the restaurant, Computerised ordering system is slow and horrible to use but the food arrived quickly and was good value if not groundbreaking, could do with a deep clean too but wasn't so bad as to put me off eating there
