I love this place if you want to get exotic fruit and veg or Indian spices or other ingredients. It is a real Aladdins cave for cooks and the best place to get large bottles of Soy, fish sauce etc. It does have a small car park but always busy. Not too far from Grove Street car park though and plenty of interesting places on the way down.

Access to the shop is a bun fight and obstacle course. Parking is akin to the dodgems. Once inside, the product range is good with ingredients you didn't know existed. Could there be that many dishes? The range of pots, pans and utensils suggests there could be and more. Navigating the shop in time to avoid your car being ticketed would probably require the services of a guide with the physical and mental prowess of Himalayan sherpa. However, don't be put off. This place has treasures seemingly unavailable at mainstream supermarkets at prices that are highly competitive. I buy in bulk and this store accommodates me perfectly. I want specialty products and almost all under one roof so in context it ticks my boxes. Just don't expect fancy polite customer service. Getting through the checkout is like queuing for a life boat on the Titanic. Stressful getting through but relived to be on your way out of the melee. Would any of this inhibit my decision to return? Absolutely not. Great products great prices and a "different" experience. It's the spice of life.

I can find everything I need including Rice, Exotic Fruits, Chuppati Flour, Cooking Oil, Savoury Foods, Fresh Fish and Meats. The staff are very attentive and are aware of most products in store. The prices are reasonable and they have lots of staff working on the tills so I'm generally served quite quickly. I recently heard Pak Foods have opened stores in Leicester and Stoke and Brand New store is planned for Burton on Trent. Nice to see hard work paying off and the support and dedication the stores show to their local communities is admirable. Fantastic supermarket. Wide range of groceries available, in particular South Asian foods. Plenty of staff around, however the only thing is that staff do not walk with you and show you where items are- instead they just tell you where it is. The parking is now very good, they have a dedicated entrance and dedicated exit, and a few extra spaces.

It's a good place to shop Asian and African oriented food. Fresh fruits and vegetables is also available along with meat shop. Only downside is carpark which has CCTV cameras to control who parked up for how long but management should also consider because of this car park there is always a Chuck a block both side of the main road ,and always a chaos for normal traffic. I think council should get involved and get a better solution for this issue

Superb supermarket with every kind of ethnic food and spices at a fraction of the cost of mainstream shops. Well worth a trip out to Normanton if you enjoy this sort of food. They have many fresh fruit and veg too at great prices. (As of 19/1/18, 4kg onions = £1.29)

Great store for all Asian products. Used to be our one stop shop while living in Derby city. Sometimes its difficult to communicate with staff members as they hardly speak any English. Prices are very competitive and choice is huge. Good parking space beside the store.

A wide variety of food indoors, especially for big families. Butchers is indoors as well. Food containers available to purchase indoors, paper plates , napkins... Frozen foods Milk, cheese, juice , bread, juice, cakes, biscuits, herbs, spices and lots more. Small car parking available. And bus stop outside and opposite road which can take you to Derby town centre. Tills are available indoors.

Here you get a variety of goods from around the world however the only downside is that I once bought the 500ml bottles of coca cola which were on offer at 3 for £1 and it turned out there was a good reason for them selling them at this price as these really tasted awful despite being in original bottles but the writing on them was in Arabic. I love the spices which are awesome but I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in the long grain rice. I bought some home to Slovakia and sadly, it's exactly the same as basmati rice. EXACTLY the same. Now I'll be one month in Slovakia without proper long grain rice like the one in Aldi. Pak foods must have literally use basmati rice and just change the cover to make it look like long grain rice. Deception 😭

Have a big variety of spices and other Asian cuisine specific. Find the place dirty and smelly and I'm being put of how they cut the meat which I find it unsanitary. Only go there when I need something specific I can't find in the supermarkets.

Great store to visit if you like to buy Pakistani food including vegetables and fruit. They also sell halal meat. This super market also sell all Pakistani spices and food which i think they import from Pakistan.

I don't really like going here because the parking area is always a challenge to get in and out of. 98% of the times there is no parking available anyway. The staff are often very temperamental. Requesting for a delivery is also a big deal. The cashier bluntly refused to deliver saying that I lived too far away and I live just a miles away from the store. Afyer I convinced the cashier, I had to explain the route to the driver. Other that that the store has a great collection of international food mainly Asian and Eastern European. The meat counter's also great.

What can I say about Pak foods. Everything they sell is halal mashallah. You will be able to purchase all the exotic food and fruits that you will be unable to purchase at bigger stores like Asda and Sainsburys. The prices are good value for money. During this pandemic the store has continued to serve the local community with all the essential foods and necessities. We haven't had anyone fighting over bog roll or sanitisers due to the civilised communities that shop at Pak Food Stores. The queues have also been much smaller unlike your bigger stores like Asda & Sainsbury's.

This is the store where you can anything and everything for cooking and food related things. vegetables like Green leafy vegetables to green chilies, tomatoes to cucumber, tomatoes to lemons just name it and you'll get it here. Non vegetarian items like chicken & meat are also available. Ready to eat Ice creams to just heat and eat items like pizzas, pasta & biryanis, all the lentils & Rice varieties, table salt to red chilli powder, all the fruits are also available.

Good market with many Asian and mediterranean foods. You can find many Turkish brands as well. I loved the vegitable and fruit section, so many products. However, how they running the store can be improved, they can learn a lot from Tesco and Saintsbury. Also Butcher section is very dirty, no body is using gloves yet they are touching different meats (chicken, lamp, beef and goat), they should improve the quality. Whole store reflects the culture in the Normanton Road which is colourful.
