N. I.A large supermarket - here it is possible to find a good assortment of food, including bakery, clothes, cosmetics, kitchenware, some medicines. The prices are usually higher than in other retailer networks (especially kitchenware) , but sometimes there are good bargains and discount. Large section of seasonal or thematic goods (Christmas, Halloween, school fair etc.). Additional infrastructure - fitting rooms and a toilet. Delivery service. The discount club system is not very attractive,but similar to other retailers (is includes Argos).
P. T.I’m giving it 5 stars only because they sell my favourite wine and when I got to the till the assistant told me it was on offer if I bought six bottles. Obviously I simply couldn’t miss a bargain, so on my way home with six bottle for the price of four and a half 😅
T. C.I tend to go there for wheat free bread & wheat free bread without egg for vegans .
I also buy plant pioneer no chuna which is their own brand & plant pioneer tofu
Could you do more vegan granola varieties ..without honey

D. D.Called into the store after my blood donor session. It was quite busy. I only bought a couple of items because they didn't stock the particular one that I was looking for.
A. M.Regular supermarket, food, homewares, toys, DVDs, music, console gaming, clothes for all the family, lovely cafe upstairs, added bonus of an Argos instore as well.
Staff are always polite.
Can't fault.
Definitely recommend their school uniform, lasts all term, as long as there's no growth spurts!
A. H.Thank you Sainsbury for opening up halal meat section. Both fresh meat and processed meat options are available. Lamb, beef,chicken mince and ready to eat meat dishes are avaialble. Beef steaks arevpremium quality. Would like more variety in future as well.Their is no fresh meat option in Durham for muslim community. Really appreciate!💙
L. C.Very large supermarket with an Argos built in on the ground level.
On the upper level, there's a cafe with male, female and disabled toilets available. This can be accessed by a stair case or a lift.
There's a delicatessen and fish monger at the rear of the store, along with a bakery which serves not only freshly baked goods but cakes and treats also.
The store has a good clothing range, toy range and electrical goods ranges too.
For the vegetarian and vegans, there's dedicated food sections for both choices.
