Since I came to this neighborhood I have always bought here because there is no other nearby. In general, everything is fine, butcher, fishmonger, but I have to say that there is a guy working in the delicatessen who is very unpleasant and rude when you ask him to cut the ham instead of choosing the ones he already has cut, even to the point of hiding himself when he sees me arrive, since as I say it is my usual supermarket for fresh products.I'm just buying at the delicatessen area when he is not there because the rest of the workers do their job in a proper way.

A good Morrisons, large enough to have pretty much everything you need and the staff are friendly and helpful too. Only downside is the bicycle parking is poor quality, you can only lock one wheel to it. Badly in need of an upgrade

The actual Morrisons staff are lovely. They're genuinely helpful and nice. Unfortunately for the staff the security guards are useless. I went in on Friday the 15th to report a small fire had been started by a group of teenagers in the parking lot. It wasn't bad enough to call out the fire brigade as all it amounted to was a wee smouldering stump. No security guard in sight at Morrisons. Staff member from customer service came out with a bottle of water and we put out the wee burning stump. Later on that day I stopped by to buy some things and as I was exiting the store a group of 6 teenagers roughly 14-16 in age, sauntered out ahead of me, laughing their heads off, as each one set off the security alarms. Their pockets were stuffed with shoplifted items. I watched them along with the staff from Timpsons in bemusement and disgust. The Timpsons staff informed me that they hit the store about once a week, these teens are known shoplifters . No security guards in sight. The management staff came running out after the thieving youths but to no avail. A fine display of ineptitude and fecklessness on the part of the management team and the utterly useless security guard. Mildy entertaining for me and the Timpson staff.

Visit this Morrisons 3-4 times per month. Like the staff’s friendliness. Like the fishmonger there with fresh seafood offer and the large variety of cuts on the beef, pork and lamb. 👍🏻👍🏻

Honestly this would be a 5 star review. It is very well stocked, the staff are mostly decent although there does seem to be a habit of them gathering at the loading area next to the fish for a blether. It's large, it's clean, I've never really seen it poorly stocked and it has a timpsons and cafe too. The tills are fine and the self checkouts have some larger bays for a full shop without having to build an awkward tower of bags. I've lowered my score because they've got rid of ALL OF THE BAGS. If you want to shop you can spend money on big insulated bags, big itchy fabric bags or paper bags that might get someone to a car, but for anyone walking or catching a bus there's a good chance you're picking your shopping up off the street. Especially if it rains. This means that for a non driving family you can run the risk of your bags exploding or spend £10 for 4 bags. Crazy.

I ordered 2 bottles of Glenfiddich whiskey on line which was at a great price. I was to collect it form Morrison portobello later today. I got a phone call from Marie this morning to say sorry they did not have any in stock. She phoned because she didn't want me coming into the store to find out my order was not there. Which I thought was very kind of her, she also said to phone the store back on thurs or fri to see if any had came back in store. I was very impressed with her phone call & the way she was trying to help me. She then asked if it was a present & I said yes. She said if any came in store she would get back in touch with me. After our conversation on the phone I got a call back from Marie to say that she got me 2 bottles of the whiskey from another store. I was over the moon. I would just like to take the opportunity to THANK MARIE SHE DEFINITELY WENT ABOVE & BEYOND TO HELP ME. Started using morrisons again recently. The wine selection is genuinely good and they do a range of frozen seafood that includes white shell clams. Been using these to make a weekly spaghetti vongole. Prices reasonable and quality good.

This Morrisons Supermarket is located on Piersfield Terrace. Also close by is the Morrison Petrol Station. Within the supermarket there is also the cafe and toilets. Ample free parking is provided. The supermarket is clean and the aisles uncluttered. The shelves are well stocked and there are usually good specials on. Product pricing in general is not the cheapest but it's OK. What I particular enjoy is the cafe. You can get a full Scotish breakfast for £6.99. As always the staff are very friendly and courteous. In fact it's worth going there just to get the friendly smile and good morning from the cashier. It's the human interaction one misses when there used to be the local corner grocery store. The cafe is very popular with the pensioners and retired and seems to be a regular meeting place for many.

I was in morrisons with my son to do some grocery shopping. I love the quality and prices. You can get a good variety of goods at reasonable prices. I go at least once a week, I also have a bite to eat and drink in its cafe.

This is currently my favourite supermarket. It's really big and has a huge selection of high quality food. The price can be a little higher than competitor's but there are many offers and I spent more less the some money for my weekly groceries

It's always a hit or a miss when looking for a particular product that is available in other branches. Also when visited, there were no hand baskets at the entrance, but as they were due to close in 30 minutes, probably couldn't be bothered.

Morrison 's is the best. Sustainably caught seafood, locally sourced veg and food products, happy well cared for employees always up for a friendly chat. We go there every day whether we need anything or not. It's just part of a balanced life! They also have a Pizza Counter where they make fresh pizza! And the fishmonger is literally second to none! Great selection of beer and wine! Also the manager is a cool, relaxed and helpful guy.

Highest possible praise for this store which today leant me a wheelchair do I could push my disabled Mum along the promenade at Portobello on a lovely day. Without this generous act she’d never have been able to do this. There’s real kindness in the world today and it resides with the staff and manager in this store.

Has a great range of fresh fruit, veg and herbs, and fish mongers is also great. Has a dry cleaners, place where you can hire carpet cleaning equipment and photo booth for passport photos. The shop also sells baby and children's clothes (called nutmeg) and toys. There is a cafe which sells cheap and cheerful food. The queues have never been long when I have been, and staff seem friendly.

This supermarket on the way to Portobello is very convenient. It is well stocked with a good selection. The gish counter is tempting but the shop is understaffed so although I waited for more than 5 mins, I didn't get served. Another frustration was the wine. Once more an excellent selection and clear labels on the shelves, but the wines were not located correctly so it took much longer to find what I wanted.

Morrison's selling strawberries. Grown in Perth. Had intended to buy some but put off by the outrageous union flag packaging. Supermarkets should not be making political statements. It's just wrong and innacurate. Start supporting Scottish branding or I won't be back.

Why oh why are there never any baskets at the entrance?! Always have to walk halfway across the store to find one. It's a simple fix but nothing seems to be done about it. The freezer section is also usually broken, with floppy 'frozen' pizzas and runny ice cream. These issues aside, I do like shopping here, so really hope the store management sort it out. Edit: since I've written this review Morrisons have now replaced all freezers with new ones that actually work! Therefore upping my review from three to four stars. Now, just to sort out the basket issue...

I would like to tell you about one of your staff at this store. Her name is Susan, she was so very helpful i feel i must write a review. There was a mix up on my son's form, 'Match & More', Susan very kindly phoned the people concerned, (twice!) and got it sorted out. If my son had to do all that from his own phone it would not have happened and he would not have a match & more card now and he would have lost out on the benifits of having the card. We are fans of Morrisons at Portobello Road, and once again i want to thank Susan for all her help, thank you Susan.
