Reviews of Portobello Market
We had not been for a while and it was not to see it so busy. Unfortunately there was only one hot food stall and one coffee van, could easily had more for the amount of stalls and visitors. Great atmosphere though and fantastic seeing so many locals and visitors alike
Great experience. Lovely interesting stalls with local produce
Great selection of different stalls, and a really friendly atmosphere.
Plenty choice of stalls in a lovely open space centrally located
I love Portobello. The beech is pristine & the scenery is stunning.
Never been to this market, however now I will work out when it is so I can go.
Portobello market remains well organised and with a great range of stalls avaliable. The selection of products throughout the stalls is always impressive for all monthly market. Any vitis you make you will come away with some great items, and meet people ypu know.

An awesome Saturday market that you must visit if you come to Portobello on a weekend.
Too expensive, but nice enough stuff for sale.
Great community atmosphere, good range of stalls
Loved the ambiance. Wish it was on every week!
Nice, very expensive though.

Great stalls
Excellent quality
Good
Really nice market when it was put up, not sure if its me but i rarelly see this market anymore
I've only been once, but on my occasion i can say there was a good selection of stalls: hot food, coffee and cakes and a myriad of things for sale, and live music in the form of a great guitarist.
The large lawn lends itself to picnics on a sunny day, with lots of room for kids to run and play. There are benches for those who prefer it to sitting on the ground.
A nice, slow, relaxed day out with the kids on a sunny day.
Fresh tasty fare. however, charge your wallet. Lovely way to spend the first Saturday of the month. Take a wander and sample all manner of tasty sweet treats, savoury delights, and crafts. Lovely welcome at all the stalls. Top tip: plan to visit over lunch and graze a meal as you wander around. Note: More stalls turn up the better the weather.
Great traders attend this on the first Saturday every month. Lots of great produce on sake. We'll worth a visit
Nice small out door market. Covid secure, mix of cash and card payments available. Quality foods from a select number of high quality local producers. Only downer not many bargains.
Excellent venue and a good crowd considering the weather. All stall holders were cheery despite the showers - well done them.
It's a good set up for a merket
Fantastic as always!! Love new tattoo!.
