I see some negative comments about this place but especially about the staff, these people are working hard under pressure from WALMART and also under pressure from contracts brought in. Too many self scan machines rather than a normal till with people serving you. These people have to support families aswell and as I have said under pressure from the bigger company mentioned. Take away the self scans and employ more people this might help everyone.

Decent supermarket with pleasant staff. My biggest complaint is the car park, the worst I have used in any supermarket. It's not easy to find small trolleys (I can't manage the big ones) and there are no dipped kerbs to get trolleys back to your car. You need to walk on the road being in the way of drivers looking for a space. Should be much better laid out.

Quite good for buying essentials. Staff are nice and sometimes have a laugh with you. But the toilets should get cleaned better because I went into disabled toilet and was toilet paper on floor and was no roll left, and were no soap in dispenser. Not very much stock on shelves but overall pretty good. I do prefer other stores more than Asda😕

For a below average size of store Asda Blantyre delivers everything both customers looking for a quick dinner, looking for cheaper clothes and a quick lunch option, notably for school children. Social distancing and all other covid restrictions are handled greatly with dividers between all self serve checkouts, a one way system, clear social distancing arrows and plenty of hand sanitizer. Staff are all around friendly but delays on getting assistance with the self serve checkouts are to be expected. Asda kitchen, the stores modern and delicious "restaurant" is good for a quick bite or lunch, certain items are slightly overpriced for the quality but there were deals like pizza slice, chips and a drink for only 4 pounds last time I ate there. The toilets have seen better days but are usable. Could certainly do with some work. Overall a good store.

Perfect with coronavirus precautions, face masks are required and social distancing is strongly encouraged. During the working week, school children are lined up outside but other people doing shopping are welcome to walk in unless stopped by a staff member because of number of people in store. Lovely, thoughtful staff. Can buy almost everything here.

We go to Asda daily for our paper and a few bits and bobs. The staff are mostly very polite and friendly. Sometimes the store could be a little cleaner and tidier but on the whole it is acceptable. Wish there was a changing room so you could try on clothes.

I was in Asda Blantyre today and asked if I could use one of their disabled electric scooters only to be told none of the 3 they had in store were working which in my opinion is ridiculous Nor do they have any seating available for disabled and elderly customers As far as their disabled service is concerned it is non existant Morrisons store is much better Might change my shopping habits !!!

I would give this Asda store ten stars if I could . I have always had great customer service on visiting this store...great helpful friendly staff with nothing ever seeming to be a bother . This morning however the customer service department went well above and beyond . I received a wee note with my driving licence inside . Apparently I had left it in the store...I didn't even know it was missing ! Thank you very much Asda staff for going out of your way to return this to me . I am extremely grateful .

As a shop this place is good and decent but do not go near the cafe. Food is rank and not worth it. Lesson learned. Wont be back to the cafe.

We all have missed feelings over any supermarket. You have bad and good experiences with them all. This asda has done away with alot of there own stuff which some was nicer than the leading brands

Always stocked but they own the whole centre so most shops have closed down due to rates. Blantyre town centre is pretty much deserted. Just asda and gregs. No competition. Staff friendly but not nice to walk about at night

Defos be back here all staff are great and friendly especially the car park staff who are making time too entertain the kids think one was called mark williams or wilson, blonde hair the way he was running with 5 trollies and making them skid round corners and drift round cars whistling the tokyo drift theme song was unreal he was like the lionel messi of pushing trolleys and the way he placed them into the shelters was like watchin griffiths score that double against england defos should be on a high rate or new working boots cause the soles must be burned of his other ones wont get that at tesco, this all started from when he done break dancing classes he says
