After the recent renovations the store looks really nice and very well presented, its a huge store very well stocked guaranteed will find most all of the things you are looking for from clothes , groceries , electronics , smartphones , laptops , plants , garding , etc , you name it ( great variety of products plenty of choices great prices ) .. A Huge parking lot is also very convenient and a petrol station offering competitive fuel prices ( gas and diesel ) . Recently they introduced scan and go , another convenient way to improve your shopping experience . Staff members are well knowledgeable and helpful always in site and ready to assist. Over all great shopping experience . * Android Pay is available here and in most Asda stores 🌟

A very large, bustling store with a petrol station included. Plenty of choice and well laid out. Staff are helpful and there are fast food eateries nearby if you get hungry after all that shopping.

Best store for daily shopping needs. Best place for vegeterian and non vegeterian shopping you can get inter continental and intra continental food items. Even it got frozen meat which has seperate halaal section. Generally halaal means a food which is spitted recently it was accepted by one maulvi. Morever you have small store to take passport photos it got small currency exchange kiosk too. Even gardening tools are also available here, you can get best variety of compost and small vegetable saplings and flower saplings too. One stop destination for all your needs. I like breads which are maintained really fresh and even oven baked chips too.

Great extra large supermarket with petrol station. Fantastic range of food and non food products over two floors. Huge car park wheelchair accessible and disabled parking near the entrance. Friendly helpful staff.

I went here at 7am on a Wednesday. They had trolleys available and no coin deposit which was good because I don't carry cash during covid. There is a small sanitizing station at the entrance with advice on how to clean your trolley, and alcohol hand gel. There was an employee standing, partially blocking the entrance and facing inward toward the store, they didn't acknowledge me. The shelves had boxes of stock on the floor in front of them but I didn't see any staff replenishing shelves. I understand going early and seeing stock everywhere but in Tesco my experience has been to see staff not far away from it actually moving product, and goods are usually in cages down the middle of aisles not blocking things. I'm quite short and have a disability so I found it difficult to reach things that I wanted. I wear a sunflower lanyard but there was nobody to ask for help, and when staff at bakery saw me they looked the other way. It was hard to see aisle labels and difficult for me to find what I needed, but maybe I am just used to my usual supermarket. Never been to this store before. I used the self checkout for trolleys. There was a nice big area for my bags so I could pack my things easily, and it was raised off the ground about a foot so I didn't need to bend far. There was a nice lady keeping an eye on the self checkout, they were very attentive and quickly sorted my age verification and fixed any weight discrepancies in the bagging area. I didn't have to wait at all for everything to be sorted. The store was being cleaned while I shopped but it's not great if the cleaner can't do their job properly when the floor is covered in boxes.

Greatest Shop of All time actual can't go wrong with it, it's like the Phil Foden of ASDA, truly a landmark in Glasgow, would highly recommend shopping here it's so good.

Went in today with my sister for my usual shop. We were very surprised at the amount of people either not wearing facial covers or masks and those who weren't wearing them properly. As this is a government decision to protect us all. I work in store and we actually have masks to give to people who don't have one with them, I felt that no one was caring and felt quite unsafe.

Supermarket excursions are a pretty dreary activity. I'd never usually bother writing a review but i was amazed at just how friendly all the staff were at this branch. The most friendly supermarket I've ever visited, ever! They were all happy to give time and help find things (for my confusing recipe) and follow up. So thanks!

Great for big shopping trips as the range of products is huge. Clothing department is upstairs with a wide range of affordable clothing for men, women and children(particularly good for school uniforms). Downstairs is a large non food area with toys, magazines, TVs, books, car products and much more. There's even a barber shop in store. Wide variety of food and drink too. Only negative is I find the store to be a little claustrophobic, don't know if its because its always busy or if the aisles are narrow.

Okay. Has a really good selection of goods and on the whole, priced fairly. Don’t go after 10pm unless you are prepared to stand around ages at self service waiting for staff to clear transactions or offer any type of assistance. The scan and go option isn’t available at night or early in the morning and it makes little sense to me. After 10pm it’s like an obstacle course here as staff pull cages around to stock shelves and leave them wherever they can. Can be infuriating.

Simply the best ASDA in the world just a stone's throw from the stadium of the best club in the world. They have a lot of soap and shower products which are probably bought much more often in Govan than in the green, eeeh, east end of town.

I was in you're store earlier and got some photos printed off, I wanted to take the time to say that the man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful, a credit to you're store. I wish I had asked him his name but I never, he was tall with dark hair and glasses. Excellent customer service !!!

Asda is a huge store, therefore it's not suitable for small shopping because looking for the products will take a while. On the other hand we can find here full spectrum of products for everyone. There are shelves with international brands of food and not only. Once we came to Asda, we can enjoy the presence of bakery with freshly made breads and rolls as well as fishmonger's that offers us many spices of fishes. At the left side there is frozen food - the range is pretty wide, from frozen fruits, vegetables and ice cream to frozen pizza and meals. Near the entry we can see the greengrocer's too. Upstairs there is a small area with clothes, but products mostly are not high quality. Also, when it's about payments, we can use either the self-checkout and normal checkout.

Good transport link with M8 running closeby. Large food/clothing store with plenty of car parking space , cafe, toilets and petrol station and pump LPG. As good if not better than motorway services and excellent stop off to break journey.

Asda Govan situated conveniently alongside the M8 freeway at Helen St Turnoff is a 24 hour retail shop. Here you can shop for groceries, clothes, toys, car accesories, electronics including video games and Fresh produce including flowers and plants. I frequent this establishment and everything always neat and runs smoothly. There are two floors and a huge car park. If you drive a long wheelbase vehicle you would be happy to know there is special parking for that. Check out is never over crowded and the floor assistants are eager to help and knowledgeable about the products. They stock a wide variety of products so please check their website or give them a call. While driving towards the car park you will pass a Burger Drive thru and a 24/7 Gas station which is pretty handy too. Please note that at a certain time the gas station closes it's cash desk and you can only pay by credit/debit card after that. Please like my review if it has helped you.

This Asda store if great as it offers a Creche service so that I can get all my shopping done and not feel guilty about dragging the kids around. Also it is always topped off with a nice coffee at the cafe before going back to the daily chores of being a Parent. My kids love it and staff are very friendly, nothing is too much for them. Thanks

A large Asda conveniently placed next to the M8 motorway with very convenient petrol station which I use regularly. Asda is not really my favourite supermarket, having said that the produce is great and it's open 24 hours which can be life saving

Huge store, it has a George wear and electrical department. Bakery and rotisserie departments tha deliver fresh food. A huge variety of beers and ciders. Has a lot of cheap products and foods. Staff is polite and trying to be fast at the checkouts. Open 24/7 except xmas day and new year's day (or maybe less hours). Huge parking place that is almost impossible not to find somewhere to park. There is also an indoors cafe that serves decent breakfast (better than McD)

I would say if its by far the best asda ive been to and its you massive, self check out belt is good also, if you have alot of shopping there is a shelf like you can pull down if you run out of space for packing in the normal bit. So its no panic if things are going to fit or fall of . All good!!!

Been shopping at Asda Toryglen for the last 3+ years now started going to Govan so finding the layout a bit wierd. Maybe we got used to Toryglen or maybe it made more sense there as things were where they should be. Anyway still a great shopping experience here. Given the trend towards self server checkouts and the fact that you therfore often don't even speak to a member of staff it's hard for the place to stand out as any the more than average. Your usual ASDA. However, parking discipline is not maintained and many leave shopping trolleys all over the car park as they are not fitted with coin locks. On windy Glesga nights this might mess with your motor's shiny finish as the "friendliest city" monicker does not extend to this place.(or it should at least not to be confused with "most considerate") Furthermore, the number of wonky trolleys is probably the highest of any ASDA's I've been in regularly. Avoid and order at home if you can, and save yourself a lot of hassle after a busy day.
