This was the first time I had been in the Coop store for years. I was just passing by and decided to shop there. A pleasant and helpful lady member of staff stopped what she was doing to take me around the store to where large packets of Rowntree fruit pastilles were on display. The aisles are very narrow which makes it difficult to walk up them without bumping into other customers. Looks like a well stocked store.

Staff friendly and helpful. Have a great range for such a small store. The lack of people on checkouts has been forced on them by self service checkouts which I will not use. For this reason I avoid if possible. The big decision makers need to understand this is losing them money overall.

As I've said previously. I have never had an issue with any of the staff. They are always willing to help. Obviously as a smaller place they might not always have what you're looking for but that could also be said about the much bigger supermarkets. I can't fault it.

It's a good medium sized store but the customer toilet has no soap, the bin lid is broken and it's being used as a store room with filthy shelves. There is even an open bottle of cider on the floor. (See pictures) Disgusting at the best of times but totally out of order during COVID-19. Reported to Co-op Customer Services. (5 May 2021)

Yes, it's the only proper supermarket in town, and it's probably not the cheapest, but the selection is pretty decent. 5 stars for me as the staff are super friendly and helpful. We asked them for some cardboard boxes for moving house and they promised to keep some aside for us from their next delivery...and they did! Just really nice.

A good supermarket. Not the cheapest and I have to admit I'm not amazed with the quality of the fruit and veg but it's the only show in town so no choice. The selection is good overall though.
