Comparatively, I noticed the veggies are somewhat cheaper than other places. Very small space but filled with enough goods. Helpful staff and near to the University of Glasgow. My suggestion to students : Always check other places before buying and stop wasting money even if you like something. Don't forget Money is still not growing in your fathers garden and govt is still printing it.

Old school house food disappointing had a steak asked for it well done it was tuff as old boots my husband had a mushroom pie which he enjoyed. Sent a message to ask if we could reserve a table 2 days prior to arriving was told no. When we arrived there were tables that had reserved labels on them. Poor show guys.

Every spice that you could ever need. Also, the fresh samosas are some of the best in town, in terms of filling to price ratio.

One of the best supermarkets to visit for foods from Asia in the west end of Glasgow. It has surprisingly lots of different kinds of unusual fruit/veg and edibles from around the world. It also has a butcher section at the side. Very helpful friendly staff both in the shop and butcher's. Although all the staff are excellent, ask for Mr Majid if your going in for meat in the butcher section, he is a very friendly helpful man, made my order as required and I could not fault the cut or quality. Highly recommended.

Great selection of Asian groceries. Non-perishables, frozen and fresh produce. Everything from pickles, spices, sauces and rice to vegetables, prawns, parathas, naan and samoosas. Definitely the best in the local area.

General groceries shop for south asian (indian, nepali, bengali especial). Very compact to see around. Few vegetable choices. Found karela (not very fresh) and lauki (good) and some masalas. For small house shopping its fine. Good butchering. Recommend for meat items.

We go to this shop for lovely spices and various other ingredients to make so many different kinds of curries. Their stuff is really cheap. However, don't expect friendly service. I go in and out there very quickly as everyone that works there seems to be miserable and rude.

Variety is great. More fresh supply than Alpha Cash and Carry. As mentioned earlier, they overcharge you for things we have not purchased. All people would have experienced it definitely. very few times you will go back, please check your bill wisely and if possible before leaving the shop

Awesome store. The butchers are hilarious. Very skillful and helpful. Prices compared to say, Sainsbury's are a almost 60% savings, AND the meats are huge, and tastier. Sorry, they just are! Great selection. Awesome. Love it.

This stores sell many Asian products, from Thai to Chinese. Most vegetables and fruits are from tropical areas. There are also commercial merchandises like onions and much more. Seems to be fresher than the supermarkets. Not to mention the staff are nice too!

If you are looking for any type of Indian cooking stuff, this is the right place to go to. You'll find everything from kidney beans to all types of dals/pulses/lentils. Flours, rice, spices, and even ready made panipuris/golgappe, packed food like saag, biryani, paneer etc. They accept both cash and card.
