Not the most hygienic store as bakery goods are left unwrapped and numerous customers walk in do not hand sanitise and then rummage through loose bread rolls for example, these rolls used to be bagged and therefore, more hygienically sold

Convenient to get well priced shopping while you wait on your Chinese or Indian food being prepped next door 👍. Great selection of food and drinks.

Handy local store. Has other amenities in the shopping precinct as well. Good for last minute shopping and not a bad range of produce but an expensive way to shop for any bulk buying. I use it if I'm on way home and forgot dinner but would never do a weekly shop in it.

Excellent facility with Butcher shop in store and Chemist in same complex. Always has offers on and modernised to make all fresh food in upright fridges and freezers. Plenty parking and good bus service nearby.

My local Scotmid has not long had a makeover and it's looking fab. It now has a proper butchers and loads of chilled cabinets. The staff are very nice and helpful, so it's a pleasure to shop there. Great range of food and drink, not always the cheapest, but great for popping into for bits and pieces.

I don't stay in this airer but I travel to the shop because I love its round pies I sometimes head here as they are delicious buying from the bakers bit inside plus they have a lovely amount off mixed cakes you need to try it out if your parcial to a hot pie 🥧 😂 very good we shop all round 👍🤗👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻🌹🌹

Hi this was a very clean and well organised store. The staff were friendly and every time I asked where so something was a member of staff would take me to what I was looking for or they told me to wait while they went and got it for me. There is plenty of parking outside and they also do cashback at the check outs. There are cash machines outside also. The only thing I found strange was that the trolleys wouldn't take my new token . So not sure if they were designed for the new £1 coins or not yet.

The staff are very helpful and friendly - the shop was quiet and the rolls weren't in yet as it was just after 7.00am but thank you to the staff for being open on Boxing Day☺

It's a co-op, larger than most shops. All expected sections of produce. Clean and friendly, there's a smaller shop within that deals with small quick purchase like magazanies and Impulse buys

Main checkouts seemed to be Redundant...only self service which are ok if everything you have bought has a barcode..but I had purchased bakery items with no packaging..so self service of no use..looked around for staff..no one to be seen for 2 or 3 mins..then one appeared and told me to through the main checkouts and over to a separate newspaper counter.. Staff not interested in complaint..just, thanks have nice day speel.. Will avoid using Scotmid in future.

In 2019 the shop has really raised its game. I hadnt been here for years as i moved from the area and having returned, the shop seems upmarket and it has some very nice products.
