J. B.Love their selection of international groceries stocked normally across their aisles. They make it a point of selling specialty items with a normal attitude which I really like compared to most UK markets.
I like their selection of breads and pastries, local and regional beers, wine. Competitive prices on basic items. The only thing that is a big difference in pricing is the produce.
The one thing I find especially funny is that their crisps is sold next to the dog food.
M. T.Do you know that most branches, maybe all, have a designated employee who looks after Charities. If you buy a Gift Card, for whatever amount you can afford, they will spend it in-store at cost to help young and old. Otherwise, I love shopping there.
A. M.Everyone who works on staff there is so kind and helpful. Great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables and being from another country it’s nice to know that whatever I buy here will be the best quality and taste very nice.

Good quality selection of things you may not get elsewhere
s.Excellent. The best variety for specialist ingredients, fresh fruit and veg always seems to last longer than other supermarkets which justifies a slightly higher price. On a whole, not a whole lot more expensive than other supermarkets as there is a value range also. Fresh sushi counter made in house is authentic and tasty. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
J. H.Decent Waitrose. A bit cramped and crowded as it's quite small. In common with all Waitrose stores that I know of, it has recently become far more concerned with profit than with service. Staff generally very good, however.
R. K.I am regular customer for a couple years. This is a good store with fresh sushi bar. Staffs are mostly great,but recently feel the security guard is monitoring me shopping. Quite uncomfortable experience.

H. B.Lots of variety and a great place to go for slightly more specialised ingredients commonly used in global cuisine, like dashi, which aren't found in other UK supermarket chains. Don't expect to find everything but do expect good quality. Enough tills that queueing is rarely a big issue.

Ok, some of the stuff can be a little pricey, but this top quality range doesn't come for nothing. The wine selection is fantastic and the staff very knowledgeable. A great place to shop, especially for something special. Just don't expect Asda prices.

I was looking for a specific chocolate bar which they were sold out of.... she returned with an alternative bar which she highly recommended. -.First rate store, it's busy, very busy, and given just that fact, the level of service provided is unparalleled. The store is clean, well laid out, and the staff are excellent. The handmade sushi is great, and everything is exactly what you would expect from the name.

K. P.Amazing place with really helpful and considerate staff. My printer once dies on me shortly before I had to travel to Malta (back at the time when we allowed to travel). It was Sunday and everything was closed, so there was no way for me to print off my tickets. Just trying m,y luck I asked whether I could get my tickets printed off at Waitorse.... and not only I got my tickets and I was also treated to a cupcake! Faith in humanity restored!

R. G. W. D. T.Such a good supermarket shopping experience. Excellent storecupboard buys. Innovative food ideas. And, not as expensive as perceived by many. Waitrose price match to Tesco and have a huge range in their own Waitrose Essential products. Genuinely friendly staff. And I always check out the Waitrose Food Magazine, a host of ideas for the next cooking month.
P. S.A great variety of produce, good prices, friendly staff, a clean and tidy building, and lots of healthy options! Waitrose is a lovely supermarket and my go-to shopping spot while in Scotland.
M. R.You have to make a purchase now to get free tea or coffee with the Waitrose loyalty card, not complaining about that. Great selection of quality food and drink and staff are all helpful and friendly with the exception of the fat guy on the deli counter who is positively rude and obnoxious.Waitrose is not always as expensive as popular belief and there are some good end of line and sale date bargains to be had. Also has a dedicated fish & meat counter. Free parking above the supermarket, access from the Lane behind the Grosvenor Hilton Hotel.It is also a collection point for John Lewis purchases, online or in store.

C. L. F.The car park for Waitrose is behind the building. It's easy to locate the store as it is right on Byres Road. One stop shopping place for groceries and stuff. A bit more expensive when compared to Tesco and Iceland. But, the cost factor is compensated by quality.

R. S.This is a relatively small Waitrose. There is a large student local population and this skews the stock held by the store. It's a good local small supermarket but not the equivalent of a similar London based Waitrose. There are lots of great small shops in the area eg George Mewes cheese, Rodgers butchers and Fish Plaice West End all in Byres Rd (where Waitrose is) and Roots and Fruits (it's in the name) and Valhallas' Goat (superb wine spirits and beer shop) at Kelvinbridge, a five/ten minute walk away. Other small supermarkets eg Coop at Kelvinbridge and Morisons in Patrick are around.
