l. K.I love shopping here, you can find all kinds of fruit and veg varieties you dont seem to get elsewhere. Theres loads of other stuff in all the aisles that you rarely see in other supermarkets around here. Staff are super friendly and ive never really found the prices to be much higher than anywhere else.

g. 9.I want to like this shop more, but there are simply too many issues.
Stock rotation seems to be a thing of mystery; dated items mixed up together, so you literally could be buying something about to expire situated right next to something with over a week left.
Further, their availability is poor. More often than not, discount items are either out of stock completely, or (if a multibuy) only one left.
It's a shame. I like their products, and prices aren't horrific considering the quality etc. Service is great (apart from, ironically, the customer service desk).
Could do better.
D. E.Stock a good selection of food. However, I have had to return mouldy cheese and rotten chilled hot salt beef. Got a refund for the beef and replacement for cheese but no compensation for the inconvenience of having to travel back and forth to the store on two occasions.
S.Stopped off on way back from car trip, my son needed toilet. Store isn't too big and has the necessary produce required. I purchased bread, dog food and snacks. Very clean and hardly any customers around. It's not our local store so won't be shopping again soon, but was convenient at the time.

(.Lovely shop to visit.Yes some of the prices are eye watering but they do have their essential range which has great prices.If you have a loyalty card you can pick up a free newspaper if you spend £10, and I used a voucher they sent me £4 off if you spend £20.If you visit towards the end of the week you can pick up waitrose weekend a complimentary newspaper.Has great articles and competitions.Once a month you can pick up the free waitrose magazine and hopefully soon they will restart their free takeaway coffee.Relaxing environment and great custoner service. Handy to get to at junction 4 of M77.The small retail park there has other shops worth visiting.

M. G.All things fabulous come in small packages and this certainly applies here. I am not a fan of big soulless supermarkets where no one knows you but that is not the case at Waitrose their staff absolutely make the place. They all know myself and my son and even when it is just me in for a quick shop they always ask where he is and how he is getting on at school. It is a small but perfectly formed supermarket with an excellent choice of products from fresh fruit to socks. Delicious ready made meals to kids toys they have it all under one roof.
It great for when you just need a few things and even better for when you need the weekly shop. It has s lovely coffee shop where you can rest your feet and recharge your batteries before heading home as well as a large and spacious car park.
Wouldn't shop anywhere else love it.

M.I make occasional trips to buy those items not stocked by other supermarkets Clear evidence of staff adhering to the social distancing rules, plenty of hand sanitisers throughout the shop for customers to use. The biggest issue is customers who, despite all the signage and government warnings are still unwilling to keep their distance from other customers.
v.Great selection and clean and warm. BUT the outside is looking very rundown with mildew on the facing and signs

Store manager who put milk into my order for me an email earlier said
My usual brand was out of stock and they hadn't put in a substitute
as i hadnt requested substutes for milk
I telephoned the newton mearns shop when i read email and the nice person who answered phone asked if another brand of milk would do
I said yes and he kindly made sure i had milk

G. W.Well stocked and nice staff but being Waitrose it's overpriced for a lot of stuff. A simple walk across to either Aldi or Home Bargains will get you your basics a great deal cheaper then stop by Waitrose for the specials.

D. K.The only waitrose for miles around here. Pricey but this is the place if you looking for some quality stuff be it fresh vegetables, fish, or other stuff. Free coffee is great! Staff are friendly and helpful.
